wonderful post & very well written. i agree with you. destiny is to be blamed if we give our 100% to achieve something and still dont. but we have only ourselves to blame if we dont. after long i am feeling the same inspiration & joy i once used to feel while watching mjht. and i am totally loving this depth & turmoil in mayank's character. it is real & something we can totally connect with. i guess credit should be given to arjun bijlani as well. he was fabulous in that scene and the frustration & disappointment of mayank visible on his face. i consider this to be the best mayank scene till date. i loved the determination in his voice when he said he needs to get his dreams back.
as to what future course mayank will take, we can only guess but as of now i want to enjoy the return of the original mayank

muski i don't no exactly this article goes with this post or not ........with dreams but
i wanted to put this article here to share with u all which i liked it .....find sum similarties with this
so here i share it with u all

The purpose of life is the pursuit of happiness. But you sometimes lose your way and end up going in the wrong direction. When that happens, how do you change your life to make it better?

Happiness is an inside job. Before you change anything else in your life, have a look at yourself. If you don't change who you are, any external changes you make will feel nice temporarily, but then you'll go back to feeling the way you did before.

Here are the five points that will help you change your life:

Get ready for change. Identify what you need to change. Let go of old habits to make room for change. Learn new coping skills.
  1. Incorporate the changes into your life.

Get ready for change

Don't be afraid to look at yourself. You may be worried that you will find something you don't like. Everyone has a few dark corners in their character. That's normal, and shouldn't be an obstacle to change.

Start with your easiest issues and you will gradually make changes in the rest. Everything is connected. Look at your deepest issues only when you are ready.

Take small steps. Don't take an all-or-nothing approach to change and sabotage yourself before you start. Decide ahead of time to make small changes, and you will make progress.

When you take an all-or-nothing approach, you don't have the energy to make big changes, and you don't see the significance of small changes, so you will feel stuck. There are only a few things you probably need to change in order to make a big improvement in your life.

this is just one part of article i shared its too long .........for what purpose i shred is that change .........change has come in mayank's life .......while he is getting back to his own identity ......what i see he also accept changes in life .......there's loads of cahnges have came upin his life he is married man ........not a boy where he only can think of himself ........his own priorties ........i'm just not looking in back what he was how he used to be good to see only thing is he is back to books ,studies a focused man he used to be now to achieve goals of life he wanted them back ........👍🏼
i'm really happy on that part ..........what else is to see is the change in him s....he aksould also be ready to incorporate his present & future priorties of life in present scenrio he is going work on .........well i would see him if he gradually slowly gets back not like a big jump again .....
well i think i expected this bit much big part from cv's🤔
as they have this jumping habit one to another part like a high jump .........but the way they showing it might be tehy show is slowly .....
well i just hope i'm making little sense with it .......might doesn't exactly goes withthis post ....but as i'm sharing my thought on it so i thought i put sum other way rather other way .......
there's another part of this article i share it with u

Identify what you need to change

Stress and negative thinking are the most common things people need to change. Examples of stress include fears, resentments, dwelling on the past, or worrying about the future. Examples of negative thinking include all-or-nothing thinking and disqualifying the positives.

Do you think that things have to be perfect, and anything less is a failure? Do you focus on the few negatives in your life and ignore the many positives? These factors lead to most unhappiness. In severe cases they can lead to anxiety, depression, and addiction.

How all-or-nothing thinking leads to problems: "I have to do things perfectly because anything less is a failure." This is the most common type of negative thinking, and the main cause of anxiety, depression, and addiction.

All-or-nothing thinking leads to anxiety because you're worried that any mistake can expose you to criticism. You're always second-guessing yourself, and you don't give yourself permission to let your guard down.

It can lead to depression because when you think you have to be perfect, you feel trapped by your own high standards. That can be so exhausting that it depletes your mental and emotional resources leading to depression. All-or-nothing thinking can also lead to addiction because anxiety or depression feels so uncomfortable that you may turn to drugs or alcohol to escape.

i no nothing this sort of thing can happen but sum part can be .......an unhappiness can prevail in life ....for mayank everything he wants is perfect ....but as things didn't worked out in past according to him ...i hope he takes thing positively rather than thinking on failure .........
wiw i'm getting myself positivity on this part :))
good for me ........LOL
in end our only purpse of life is to be happy with lods of achievements in life ........
my only purpose on sharing thing was as in this track also is realistic part of life .......so on that realistic part i tried to share as in general also as well with character's identity also ........
i end i again i made sum sense from it .........

OOPS..I wasnt supposed to sound happy here uh? 😆 Between I m really busy I havent finished packing yet :( I just peeped into IF n What do I see ?? a topic from u 😲 now now...how can I let go of a topic by u Muski 😆

The problem is ..u said it all in the topic, so I m left wondering what do we say??

Today When Mayank finally realised that he had completely deviated from his goal in life.. it was interesting to see..he could see that from being focused about a career and working towards such a goal ...he had fallen in love with a girl and had eventually married her. However, though this was not the dream he first had, I m sure its not any lesser than any dream he has. The only point that bothers him now is that he lost focus on his very first set of goals.. Interesting how that works, but then he is still young and its only a matter of getting his determination back and he would be back to being the same ambitious young man who had definite dreams about his life and the will and determination to pursue it.

Nupur, however has had a near heart-break, a chance to follow her dream, the one closest to her heart has been totally been lost. She however did marry the man she loves! So, her one dream is already fulfilled, I dont think that the "Raj" fixation is of any importance as Mayank has more often than not been over and above her expectations of finding a perfect "Raj". However, she is at a stage where she probably can either look for another chance or pursue other dreams
I think it happens to the best of us as well,, some dreams are not meant to be, that doesn't mean we stop dreaming, like mayank says. we can see other dreams and pursue them.

Ok, I m sleepy as hell, so excuse me if that one lacked clarity ..

😆

Sorry for replying late to ur comments........
🤣 I was dreading ur come back post so i thought i better keep showing my face sorry my dabba more often. And Mayank well woh to hai hi...... 😆 Thankyou for not missing my topic lol....i was waiting for ur 😲 comments!
Chalo coming back to the topic....well actually tum kya maine khud itna likh diya hai ki samajh nahi aa raha aur kya likhun. Chalo will still try.....about Mayank I agree with you he is still young and can achieve his goals. He just needed a wakeup call and he got one. His anger, frustration, guilt, sadness is all justified because he himself let his dreams fade away. He will regret every missed opportunity that wud have came and gone during this period. He will regret for the lost time that he cud have utilised to achieve his goals. Doesn't mean he will regret the time he spent with Nupur or falling in love. Just falling "completely" in is what will bother him. Not doing anything over trying but failing to achieve something are two different things and have two different consequences.
About Nupur ....... I don't feel she lost her dream.......she only missed an opportunity to fulfill it as I described in my previous replies to Jess and Mou.

I thought I had lost "me" when I walked away and like Mayank felt that somewhere along the way maybeI lost my focus. And like Nupur felt the bittersweet burnof seeing others living my dream....
<div>

But,sometimesthe dream you don'tdreamis better then the one you dreamt of in the first place. Also, sometimes a break can give you the tools to achieve your dream or give the dream more depth. But, these are lessons only time can teach/show us provided we are brave enough to keep dreaming. I hope MN learn these life lessons together - they have plenty of time to figure it all out given their age.

Thankyou for your reply and I can say whatever you said was somewhat my purpose behind making this post. Most of the members here are teenagers who will be facing such tough choices in life where they will have to choose one over other or let go off their dream. Most of us get distracted on the way or make a choice that seems right to us depending on other factors. Even if the life we choose for ourselves is beautiful we still one day find ourselves thinking about that one dream that we left behind for whatever reason. As you said only time can teach us to be brave enough to keep dreaming but sometimes by the time you realise that it's already too late. So, by looking at others or these TV shows if we realise the importance of keeping our dreams alive we may prevent ourselves from going through a phase of repentance later in life.

Beautifully expressed Muski, and welcome back after so long!! I missed your topics considerably! 🤗

Agreed with every word you have said, Mayank was & is a very ambitious man, always wanted to achieve goals in his future, but everything changed for him and thats because love came his way. Well Love is also a beautiful feeling and a beautiful relationship, but its not everything. Love cannot make you achieve all goals, you need to work towards them to strive them.

[DIV]
Nothing is easy to achieve in life, everything is tough and complicated. You just have to realise your dreams & ambitions and work towards to them to make them happen.

Thankyou Yamini...yup have been away for long......I feel like an alien here now..... 😆
I agree with you. For me love, dreams and career are different things which should be kept parallel. There is no either or in this. You miss on one...... your life is incomplete. You need love as much as you need a career, a need to fulfill dreams and vice versa. You go one way your life gets off balance...... like what happened to Mayank. Many of us end up neglecting one for the other....a big mistake but a very common one. Guess the mantra is ....give equal importance to all as that's what makes a life worth living.

HEy Muski...here are my views...sorry to differ...but wanted to share them aloud...

Mayank Sharma - formerly defined as topper of the college, the guy who dated the library, the guy who swam in books, the guy whose stocks in the market of exams were all time high - is confused. He begins to think that his desicion of falling in love with Nupur and marrying her at a stage where his dream is developing into reality. His hardwork, efforts, focus and concentration were paying off when Nupur came. And in just a few days of her company changed him into a person who only wanted to become a lover and now, a good husband. But as we ponder on this topic, a thing that comes in our mind is that....was it because of Nupur?
As we see in the show, Mayank goes through his past two years. Studying hard, engrossed in his books, not even having ample time to talk to his mother, Mayank completed all his work punctually and perfectly. Then came along Nupur. And as time flew, his heart drew towards the bubbly, attractive nature of Nupur. He began to Woo her, to make her realise her feelings, and after the confession, to give her most of his time and love. Like every other boyfriend would do. Under unfortunate circumstances, he had to marry her. And with that marriage he was transformed into a struggler, a married man who was burdened with so many responsibilties that he could no longer dream of pursuing his ambitions. But then what did Nupur have to do with this?
Love doesn't mean forgetting dreams, does it? It means giving priority to the person you are in love with , as well as work toward your goal. Mayank might not have been shown studying right now, but nowadays you do see him sitting in solace studying or coming out of the library. Has Nupur changed him so much, or has he changed himself? He told Nupur that love is a lot, but not everything. Doesn't Mayank love his dream? IF not, why would he pursue it? Does he really think Nupur is responsible for the degradation of his dreams? Will it help being away from Nupur? Even if the scene meant that Mayank wanted to pursue his dream and make his life better for himself, his mother and Nupur, it wasnt pictured rightly. Mayank has been always given opportunities to pursue his dream, even this job is a stepping stone towards his dream. It's just that Mayank hasn't realised it. Wanting to achieve your goal does not mean sitting in the library always, away from the gang. iT DOES NOT MEAN IGNORING YOUR LOVE. It means working hard and choosing right opportunities as they come along your way.
As for Nupur, I rightly share your views. A girl with ambitions to become an actress has just face the truth that she wasn't even given a chance because of fate. It is even more hard for her to see all her dreams without her as a part of it. Even though she is happy for her sister, she can't help feeling the sadness because of her loss.

Wonderful post Muski...it perfectly suits the situation. It Was wonderful reading other's points of view.
