@ Topic starter: i think tas and aishu have said everything, the pranks that wee played on adh(a)raj were clearly pranks, a bit of fun, i mean Nupur-gunajn were targeted to such pranks. Gunjan, the bhavesh one for example, it was only fun and not harmful or hurting.

As for samrat being over confident and immature.

well lets take a look at it from HIS POV, your the star of the colege (Maynak included too) both of you are the stars and make Excel proud, then one day this adh(a)raj comes into college and takes all that away from you, now dont say you would have taken all that in lighty, coz certainly i would not have.

like Tas or aishu said, if that adh(a)raj had takenthe pranks, merely pranks, light heartedly it would have all been good. But he gave them attitude and insulted over half the gang, the stuff he said to benji and uday was definitely over the top compared to the prank.

So overall, if that adh(a)raj cant take a joke and holds grudges, i dont see how that makes sammy the "bad" one here?

Then how can adharaj take something so humiliating as having that milk prank on you, on your very first day, so lightly??? When that milk prank was about to be executed, what had adhiraj done to those people? Nothing!
Imagine if it was Mayank in place of adharaj....would HE have taken it lightly? I don't think so! Yet wouldn't everyone have reacted SO strongly taking Mayank's side...if it had happened to mayank?

Just try to see it from a newcomer's POV (not adharaj's)

THAT is what I am objecting to! I'm not saying that Sammy and gang's pranks were right - from the beginning I thought they were juvenile and fairly pointless!

But for me, Adhiraj's attitude to the peon sealed my dislike to him - cos I HATE people who think themselves superior to others based on rank etc. And his antics like writing his number on a girl's arm and saying "I'll teach you to whistle" made things worse - it reeked of sheer arrogance! And all this was before the milk prank!

on top of which he's definitely pulling rank by threatening a team which he's supposedly here to coach ... not the best way of handling people you're supposed to be working with, believe me!!!

If Sammy and gang were wrong, he's not smelling of roses either ... and you're trying to justify his behaviour by saying the gang started it ... works both ways - neither can justify the other behaving the way they did.

And you're forgetting something! Samrat and Mayank are Alpha Males. All that testosterone can over ride the brain!

Samrat is the Top Male in Excel. Adha-raj comes in and immediately starts acting like HES the Top Guy.

Men are extremely primitive. Logic doesnt come into it when they start thinking with their egos and pride.

Besides GUNJAN told them all it was wrong.

And Adha-raj is STILL acting as though hes the Top Guy when hes not. Samrat is the Top Guy cause hes the Basketball Star and hes the Best Student in Excel. He has actually DONE something to prove hes the Best. Adha-raj has just TOLD us hes the Best he hasnt proven it yet.

He talks the talk but he doesnt walk the walk. He told Samrat that he was OverConfident? Hypocritical or what?
