A person's character can BEST be judged by the way he treats those who are inferior to him or are under him in age or rank.

As to how he is treating Samrat and the gang - he is supposed to be senior to them in age if he is Nupur and Uday's class, right? On top of which he knows he's here as basketball coach before Samrat and gang do. Is this the way to start off with a team which is already a winning team? As Tas and Aisha said, he should be the one to behave maturely and say, look guys, we got off on the wrong foot, let's make a fresh start.

As for what the gang did - those were practical jokes, agreed, but harmless ones, which any newcomer to a college can face, and he started off his insults there itself by saying that Indore ka jokers are better than you guys.

Two wrongs don't make a right and just because you feel that sammy and gang were wrong in their jokes, that doesn't make Adhiraj and his attitude excusable. I feel Gunjan was correct in what she said to sammy, but if Adhiraj is going to be coach, starting off by antagonising the team captain and members is hardly the best way to win the team over - in fact it's the stupidest thing to do.

@ Topic starter: i think tas and aishu have said everything, the pranks that wee played on adh(a)raj were clearly pranks, a bit of fun, i mean Nupur-gunajn were targeted to such pranks. Gunjan, the bhavesh one for example, it was only fun and not harmful or hurting.

As for samrat being over confident and immature.

well lets take a look at it from HIS POV, your the star of the colege (Maynak included too) both of you are the stars and make Excel proud, then one day this adh(a)raj comes into college and takes all that away from you, now dont say you would have taken all that in lighty, coz certainly i would not have.

like Tas or aishu said, if that adh(a)raj had takenthe pranks, merely pranks, light heartedly it would have all been good. But he gave them attitude and insulted over half the gang, the stuff he said to benji and uday was definitely over the top compared to the prank.

So overall, if that adh(a)raj cant take a joke and holds grudges, i dont see how that makes sammy the "bad" one here?

Lol...while I'm not impressed by the guy or his acting, what you said does make sense.

Those sort of pranks played on anyone...they might look like "jus pranks" but if they were done on ME....I am sure I would have gone and slapped samrat or uday or benji or whoever...

The milk prank WAS humiliating. Which sort of person likes being covered by milk on the first day of college.

If it was in reality, it would have gone as ragging...and its not tolerated in most colleges.

And, I cannot really blame it if adhiraj or adharaj or whatever retaliates...its human nature....and he is in a position of power....so naturally he IS going to act all haughty..as he was targetted for no fault of his.

And why can't Nupur just say "no" to the guy?? She has to resort to this?
