The fact that she tells him not to study and pass the exam explains her mental level. Maybe she should ask Mayank to read her Mayapari and pass the exam instead. This Nupur deserves to be forsaken. And I am still lost why DOES Mayank need to apologize?

In my view, they are patronizing Mayank. By making him the victim we feel sorry for him and his popularity grows. This reminds me of the *cough* show where people cared two hoots if the lead actress was changed 4534531235345 times, but the hero should remain the same as he the epitome of perfection!

Edit: Demi Moore and Patrick Swayze made pottery making look s**y in the old English movie "Ghost" ... personally I didn't find it appealing in yesterday's episode.

U stole the words out of my mouth..This is EXACTLY what I ahd been dreading since many months..Out of this fear I actually made a poll asking members especially MN fans whether they would continue watching MJHT if RP quits (for which I received many bricks & chappals lol) ..Cant believe the CVs will again show this level of stupidity after seeing the fate of that *cough* show now..Sorry this kind of rage for a tv fictional character cannot be created often..Only cuz a "dil ka doctor" once worked doesnt mean they can turn Mayank to one of that kind overnight..Thats why I completely was against the ideaof creatives picturising Mayank as a supreme saviour & what not

bold - 👏 very well said ... 100% agree ... that formula is not a sure shot winner. Otherwise why should shows like Remix be such cult classics. Maybe the makers should take examples from their own channel shows.

@LadyM:

Middle ground means mediocre. Mediocre means reality. Reality means you, me, and everyone else. Reality also means people failing to distinctly demarcate black and white, good and evil; because reality is one big gray area. Gray area means clash between emotions and rationality. Clash means exploring and/or introducing complexity to the characters. Complexity means losing perfect guy and perfect woman.

I am not sure if people would want to see that. Its hard work, its messy and its brilliant! But really, how many takers would one find?

Yesterdays episode is a prime example of giving a start distinction to viewers between true opposites.

If only, LadyM. Star One has such excellent shows when it started. Siddhant, HK, S v/s S, Remix. Now its just LOWE and nothing else.

Yeah! for sure they are inspired from their own shows,only difference that its from their most ghattiya shows they are taking examples, What else explains the logic of introducing a second season for an already senseless show 😆
& Now I know why our mahaan creative ji once said Rati was better than Arjun for a change 🥱

Sookie - That was brilliant 👏

But then again I cite the same example as mentioned above - Remix. None of the characters were perfect. The guys were not macho, nor were the girls all divas. They had their share of faults. Which made them more appealing to the masses. If the same formula can work once, why be afraid to try it again?

I am not promoting Remix as "the best show" or something. But MJHT can certainly take a few lessons on showing imperfections in their super heroic characters. The ONLY imperfect character in this show is Nupur. With all her craziness, at least she's closest to reality. I know I contradicted myself with this statement. But do you get what I am trying to say?

Sandy - I know! Star One seems to be overpowered by LOWE these days. There is nothing else on air (literally).

Rida - WORD ... they are taking reusing their ideas across ALL the shows. Can someone reason with them and ask them where's the novelty?

Very interesting post yaar..... I want to press the like button like a MILLION times just for that bit in bold....cuz it's SO very true.....but if I may say....yes it's hard work, yes it's messy....but doesn't hard work pay off in the end if you TRULY apply yourself??? Like you said...it could be BRILLIANT...then why NOT make the effort to ACHIEVE that brilliance??

Why WON'T there be any takers if this was handled well?? Ofourse that's a very big IF😆😆.....but then again....GIVEN that they have such excellent actors at their disposal to HELP them with this endeavor, they STILL won't try?? Patheticness....everyone is too used to taking the easy way out that requires no effort in applying creativity🥱

Anu - WORD ... why wouldn't people lap up the show if complexity is well handled? Why not even try? And more so, why insult the audiences every single time? But then ... maybe we are not the intended audience as our opinions don't matter as was suggested.

@Lady M:

(I love your user name, by the way :-))
Remix as far as I remember was an adapted script from Argentinian drama. So, originality is not ours.
But the other examples that you have mentioned: one is Siddharth which I personally love though influenced heavily by Perry Mason, still was very nicely done.
About Nupur, I both agree and disagree. I agree because her whimsical mood is comic and realistic but the drastic change in her character from one month to next is very hard to keep up. Thats where I disagree to be realistic.
