Kavya yaar, we shouldn't always criticize, look at the bright sideee atleast... this track is SO inspiring! 👏 To see Mayank change from a simple, practical, realistic, economical, sarcastic good-boy nerd who completely scoffs at these melodramatic romantic gestures and is the total antithesis to Nupur to take a total 360 degrees turn to a horse-bajaofying, violin-playing, extravegent, splurgent, over-the-top, smirky flirt in such a short period of time gives me the hope that I too can change my entire behenji-types personality in a matter of few days and run for an item-queen ka post or even Miss India now!!! What say??? 😍

All goes on the name game of entertainment. MJHT is a show imagined by someone else, and I like their imagination and that is the reason why I watch this show. If I sit here trying to logically understand and dissect each and every move of Mayank or any other character/show/movie then I would go insane, because I watch a show for a dose of entertainment not because I want to find logic in their stories. Now if Mayank pleases Nupur with horses/flowers/beach or how he gets this stuff could be explained by the person who imagined it, but for me it doesn't matter. This guy is in love and if he wants to please his lady love the way she always imagined it than he should go right ahead. I cannot force my "dream scenes" about how the character should be in someone else's imagination. I just chill, relax and enjoy what MJHT has to offer, where he got the money??? Who cares? At least I don't. I just want my dose of entertainment.
On second thoughts: Can anyone fully find logic in any movies/shows??? I don't watch movies or shows to find logic. There are so many examples, like the recent Hollywood release "Hangover" who can explain how did the tiger ended up in this guy's bathroom that too in Los Angeles. Seriously who would find a Tiger in a such a populated city?? Or in almost all of the Bollywood movies, where is logic??? Similarly Mayank-Money sounds strange? Well not to me, because in entertainment business "full logic" is not an option and PlllllZ I don't want to watch a documentary. As a viewer, I expect MJHT to give the dose of fun and friendly moments that it provides. I believe in "To live and let live". No offense but I am a very straight forward individual, no diplomacy just a honest answer to your question. Solely my views.

^^I concur👏👏. I understand how some have never understood that perfect people never exist, thus when something imperfect happens people get a shock! The only thing is that some do not understand the difference between constructive criticism and sarcastic remarks. I really don't see the point in finding logic because even REAL people do weird things that do not go with their "character!"

I do agree with you, Ohye, and also do not view entertainment to find logic, I watch a show to enjoy it. Yes, I also have criticisms about shows, but MY criticisms are able to take criticism unlike most others.

I really think Mayu will reveal where he got the money from, but money does not matter when in love. When will some understand that?

Shweta, Yes I also believe in watching to enjoy. On subject of criticism I have posted a post before, which I was bashed for, but it does not stop me from posting my views. Like I have said before there are two types of criticisms destructive and constructive and I am one of those who believes in constructive criticism, which doesn't mean that the opinions have to be sugar coated. But like you said some don't understand the difference and there's no point arguing with such individuals. If Mayu explains the money thing or not, the date will be fun to watch, to be honest the money aspect truely doesn't matter in my opinion. Thank you Shweta for respecting my viewpoint.

^Uhhhh I don't think any of us are logic-freaks over here... Had we been one, we would be questioning where M got his salsa dance skills frommm and basically nitpicking over all sorts of detail but we understand that there are some creatives liberties allowed so it's okay... I'm just expecting some sort sensibility to the storyline and most importantly character consistency... When a maker creates a story he/she should atleast make his character act in accords to his essence... You can't show a shy character like Gunjan wearing short short dresses, and full-toss flirting around with guys... Similarly you can't expect a practical, economical and realistic character like Mayank to give in to Nupur's fantasies... Just like you can't expect Nupur to suddenly change her views of melodramatic loweee to something simple and to suddenly change into a super-nerd in order to satisfy Mayank's wishes... My point is you can't just show the person deviating from his basic character ka essence so much without showing proper justification for the 360 degrees change... And I'm sorry none of that can be justified to being acceptable in 'the name game of entertainment'... Thats just poor and inconsistent story-telling IMO and which thoroughly deserves to be criticized! 👎🏼

Well I guess its too much to expect to want a show to have the characters be consistent and plot be properly developed... My bad really...

NOTE: Please to not confuse character consistency with characters being same all the time and not changing! 😛

Wouldn't a guy fulfill his girl's dreams? I mean Nupur for so long has been chanting "Rajkumar ... Safed Ghoda ... flowers ...etc" I think Mayank would by now know how he would make Nupur so much happier that too on their first date.

Well wouldn't Nupur turn into a super-nerd and study all the time just to satisfy Mayank's wishes? I don't think so... It'll take a lot of growth and hesitation from her side to even think of that... And so I find the same with Mayank, he is basically unromantic... he cannot suddenly change his long-standing beliefs in a second and come horse-riding even if he knows Nupur likes all of that... As I said I wouldn't mind if Mayank had pulled this when he would propose to Nupur or something but this is just the first stages of dating... And I think there's a lot more growing his character needs to do before he can really be like those melodramatic heroes in Nupur's imagination and right now this deviance from his normal basic character realllllly hasn't been justified or properly developed enough to make it seem sensible and withen boundaries of his character

And one note to add, even after the Rajkumar, safed ghoda, flowers ka mantra, Nupur fell in lowe with MAYANK right? the total practical romantic he is... So I expected Mayank to have his date with Nupur in his own style...

@ meteora yes I believe Mayu's character is developing and this is just an intial stage, maybe that is the reason for this lavish date and like you have implied in showbiz scope of improving never ends. As for me I am just chilling enjoying my favorite show.
