You know whats embarrasing? We recently got Star One and while I had mostly seen all the episodes online beforehand, my family had no clue about the show and they only watched a couple of episodes because I had hyped it so much, especially as to how the creatives treated relationships. BUT what do they get to see? Endless amount of eyelocks and cheesy dialogues. Blatantly my family would ask why I'm watching this rubbish. No-one believes me when I say this show has more to it than eye staring competitions...or atleast used to be more than that.

Today I was revealed that Mayank and Nupur, a couple that I was once fond of, are only 19 which suggests that they are still teen-aged students acquiring an education at their school. WOW!

I belong to the young generation also and I am highly concerned as to what type of statement the show is bent on sending to the youth of India and elsewhere the show is aired.

Currently the show is promoting nothing but a vile message which is instigating the young audience to maybe act up.

I will provide a concise summary to showcase my view on this matter:

1. The very first concern is that the show makers are presenting an unrealistic version of love. College does not only involve pondering about your 'Raj' or 'Simran' from DDLJ. It involves ups- downs, break-throughs, friendship etc. Of course love can happen as well, but most importantly relationships are formed revolving around the rigorous circumstances. I mean I would love to attend a college where one could be lost in their thoughts and only think about lowe. Parallel universe, maybe?

2. Another essential matter that has bogged up my mind is that two 19 year olds are bent on promoting perhaps crude acts. Woh kehte hai na, jab do jawaan log akele hote hai, toh saat mein devil bhi hota hai. OK, so continuing on, what sort of message is being sent there? That it is OK to lose control of our hormones and committ acts rather than sit home and study? Hmm, not a very pleasant sight I tell you.

3. Also love is shown in a superficial manner I think over here. Everytime you hear Nupur imagine Mayank's smile or his eyes or his body. That's mere attraction and no sort of love is shown there. Another dimension that could be looked at is that friendship and trust is very cruicial pre love, then only love can happen. In this case, we barely got to experience the beautiful relationship of friendship I must say.

Let me add here that making a guy appear shirtless or let him wear see thru shirts just so that he comes off as a 'sex god' will not cover up the apparent faults in the track.

Again I don't watch the show to observe how 'hawt' or 'gawjus' a character is. I rather watch it for some sensible material which sadly I am deprived of.

Just to tell u,WHEN U R IN INFATUATION OR ATTRACTION STAGE,U WILL ALWAYS HAVE THIS QUESTION WHTS GOING ON WITH U.AND ADDING TO THT,WITHOUT EVEN ANALYSING U WILL FALL FOR THT .TO SAY "U just become poppets in the hands of ur own emotions".U will have no clue whts next or hw to move forward or to get away from tht.
I repeat,THIS FEELING IS TOTALLY A INFATUATION,BUT VERY POWERFUL.
I think MAYUR is xactly rt now is in this stage.In this stage,anything can possible if our feelings r not under our control.
But LOVE can only happen when they come out of this stage or when they proceed long.
For tht i think WE WILL HAVE TO WAIT.tO COME OUT OF THT INFATUATION FEELING ,THEY REALLY HAVE TO GET CLOSE FOR ONCE.Thn only they can realise wht they r upto & wht is real love.
So in my opinion,the track is going 100% rt.I have also crossed all these stages in my lovelife,so know whts wht.
