So onto Samrat's problem.. I was thinking this quote really suits the postion Samrat is in right now.


Lots of people want to ride with you in the limo, but what you want is someone who will take the bus with you when the limo breaks down.

Samrat is popular and every girl wants to be around a popular guy. He's cute and touted as the most hottest guy in college, but as we go back to college, we don't really stick out and reach out to the heart. The looks matter and for every girl, be it Dia, Annie, or even Yutsala ( Gunjan's friend and rest ) are looking for Samrat - the cool dude, the hot guy of the college, they want to be with him to get that tag line, Mr. Popular's girlfriend...

But Gunjan is not like that and He knows that it well. Like the quote says all the above will be with Samrat as long as he is popular, let's say one day he reveals himself and his popularity will be gone , and he will be a nobody while Gunjan is a whole different story.

i think (after racking my brain) that when Gunjan said that, she indirectly meant that being popular is not enjoying life. Like you will have milliobs that will ride on your popularity but do you have someone that will be there when the popularity goes away? and He was sad because deep inside, He knows that there isn't anyone that close to him..

Yup, and I am waiting to see Samrat totally hating Dia soon, cause the synoposis said that their equation takes a sharp turn when Samrat falls for Gunjan..

jenny1000, you have put it well. i feel all of samrats relatioships except for his friendship with benji are genuine. everything is just for show, nothing serious, just on surface. hey dia, hey babes, candy, blah. superficial relationships. he doesn't seem to understand depth and meaning of relationships. gunjan on the other hand takes her time to meet and understand people. she may not be miss popular but she does have a sister (lil crazy) who is there for her support most of the time.

but somewhere along the time, i don't feel gunjan is fully enjoying life too. she shows it openly but sam is the opposite. he shows how popular, and awesome he is. but whats he achieved? really, gunjan asked a good ques. glad she is questioning him now. she is probably one of the first people to do so. but lets look at this- gunjan is praised for being a brilliant student and everyone admires her intelligence. this gets her praise but don't u see her longing for something in her eyes. maybe more social bonding. i don't mean this in a romantic way. maybe she is missing having a good time. she is young and doesnt enjoy life much. I mean the so called date with sam did open her eyes a little. the word date said and gunjan is wow, date lol!
sam and gunjan are at two ends of a spectrum, one with her books and studies and the other with his mostly friends, and parties. they will eventually meet at the middle. The first step is friendship. i feel their story can be awesome if it goes the right route. its treatment that counts.
