Chapter 10 : Never leave me

Chapter 10: Never leave me
Ranveer was in his favorite spot, where he could be himself. Where he could cry in peace. Near the sea he felt free, free from the demons of the past. Apart from the moments he spent with Ishani, yesterday had been a nightmare. He had been such a idiot to think that he could move in life, that everything might become okay. Ranveer took out a picture from his pocket and looked at the picture teary eyed. "I'm sorry "said Ranveer and held the picture tight to his heart and cried his heart out.
Ranveer had from a very young age experienced pain, a pain no one would wish upon there enemy. He was seven years old when his father did it to him. He remembers the pain, tears and preying from his mother, who begged her husband to release her. Ranveer remembered that he stood in front of his mother, to protect her from the worst.
It was the first time he protected his mother, but was far from the last .To this day the neighbors could hear screams and so could the boy who promised that he would never be like his father.
Ranveer did not need to turn around when he heard footsteps approaching; he knew it was her footsteps.
She sat down beside him on the sand; Ishani said nothing just took his hands in her hand. Ranveer was right when it came to the beaming beauty of this place, it could heal any broken heart. She studied Ranveer; the brown eyes that always had a sparkle in them were full of tears. He didn't wipe them away and let them drain. His eyes were red and swollen: she wondered how long he had been here sitting here crying.
When he had not showed up on there date for the movie marathon, she had though that maybe he had forgotten so she called him to remind him but to her surprise his mother had taken the call . And aunty had sound so worried that Ishani knew that something was wrong and she knew that whenever Ranveer was upset he would end up on the beach near his house.
He felt her gaze rest on him, he knew had to tell her, but it did not mean he wanted to.
"I have heard that if you share your pain with someone, it get's less "said Ishani sweetly.
"That's the problem Ishani, I know how horrible this pain is and then how can I share it with someone . It will pain them as well, and that is a crime I don't want to commit. I have bear this pain as long as I remember, and I will bear it to the day I die "said Ranveer.
Ishani knew that she doesn't knew everything about Ranveer's past, but the piece she knew was not an pleasant one.
"Ranveer, I'm sorry "said Ishani who also had tears in her eyes, imagining Ranveer 's past.
"Why, Ishani? Why this life does have to be cruel? "
Ishani wish she could give him a answer, she wished she could take away all his pain . Ranveer could not handle all the pain anymore, he hugged Ishani and cried to there was no tears left .
"Ishani, will you promise me something '? "
"What ?"
"Promise me you won't leave me , because I will die Ishani." said Ranveer , no doubt that he said it true and that scared Ishani.
Ishani let go of Ranveer and took her hand in front of his mouth and said : " Promise me you won't never talk about that again "
"Pehle tum promise karo "said Ranveer who for the first time after hours smiled
"I, Ishani Parekh promise to never leave you Ranveer Waghela "said Ishani while looking in his eyes , making sure that he knew she meant it from bottom of her heart.
"I, Ranveer Vaghelea promise to never talk about dead, and promise to always protect you from pain "said Ranveer.
"Ishani?"
"Yes?"
"I need to tell you something, I need to tell you about her "said Ranveer and showed here the picture of the girl who mattered so much for him. But just another person he had let down .
