Chapter 11: Painful past
"Her name is Ridhima Khanna "said Ranveer smiling while he looked at the picture.
"Do you remember yesterday when I told you that someone had once told me to never change " asked Ranveer
"Yes "replied Ishani
"Well that was her "Ranveer explained and Ishani nodded
"She matters allot to you "stated Ishani
"Yes we were very close. As a child I didn't have a lot of friend cause I liked to be alone, I guess I still don't have and I am okay with that. I only had two friends before you Ishani, Ridhima and her brother Akash. They were all I needed "Ranveer said with a smile on his face, and Ishani was happy to hear that Ranveer had someone that cared about him when he was a child. She wondered why Ranveer sounded so upset when he talked about Akash and Ridhima
Ranveer understood what Ishani was thinking so he continued: "Ridhima found out about my father , and I made her promise me that she won't tell Akash. Both of us knew Akash nature, we knew that if Akash found out about my father he would take matter in his own hands. But Ridhima was Ridhima, she wanted to do something but I refused. Told her that I had promised my mom that I wouldn't tell anyone. Pluss I hated police that time, funny how time changes." Said Ranveer trying to light up the environment but failed miserably"
"What went wrong?" asked Ishani
"One day while Ridhi and I was talking, and we did not know that Akash was listening to our conversation "said Ranveer
"He found out, didn't he? "Said Ishani and she got her answer by looking at Ranveer's pale face , Ranveer was sweeting and tears were running down from his eyes. Ishani got really worried.
"I will take you home; we can talk about this later. Nothing matters more for me than your healt." Ishani said, worry and concern evident in her voice and her eyes.
Ranveer laughed but it was a dark laughter, and Ishani got more worried this was not her Ranveer.
"Ranveer ?" asked Ishani worried
Ishani , if I don't tell you now . I will newer, I know myself well enough, to know that. Don't worry about my health, after everything I have done I Don't mind getting ill. Either back to where we were, so before Ridhima and I could stop him he had gone to meat my father.
"What happened? "Asked Ishani terrified to know the answer.
Ranveer closed his eyes, remembering all the blood. He felt sick, he wanted to throw up. But he continue to fight against his bad health and continued with a shaky voice:
"When Ridhima and I came it was to late , my father had already shot him" Ranveer was struggling to stay conscious , be he kept pushing his luck.
"Ridhima blamed me for the death of her brother, said she wished Akash and her had newer met me. She regretted keeping my secret, one secret that killed her brother. I killed her brother Ishani . I killed my brother and my best friend" said Ranveer before darkness got the best of him.
"RANVEER" screamed Ishani .
AN : So this chapter is not the best one I have wrote , I 'm really sorry I just don't feel I could do it better but I still feel dissepointed with the result. I promise I will try to write the next chapter better :) Sorry for any kudos , and please let me know what you guys think .
