kusum changed to chandani

after reading reading the post article on karan wahi, i realised that initially the lead character's name was supposed to be kusum and but now they are calling her chandani. may be the producers realised that kusum was ekta's character. or may be just as angad is changed to shaurya and suhani that way kusum to chandani.
