At the hospital, Raashi is dreaming about Vikram in an awake state with a huge smile on her face, In her dreams Vikram is wearing leather jacket, dark sunglasses, earrings and all. A real biker dude. He tells her to wear a red dress the next time they meet. They share a romantic moment together. Raashi writes a romantic letter in her book.
Vrinda comes in and sees Raashi writing but Raashi keeps her book a secret. Vrinda doesn't press her to reveal her book. Vrinda tells her she has a surprise for Raashi tonight. She asks Raashi if she wants anything, Raashi writes in her book Red Dress. Vrinda says she will send a red dress for Raashi through Shankar in the evening. Vrinda tells her she is happy that colours have started to return into Raashi's life and they hug. Vrinda adds to make her happy family complete she has some work to attend to and leaves.
Aditya is at home recalling the doctors words, the one who told him that Sanya had come in for an abortion. Then he remembers his confrontation with Sanya and Shankar beating him up.
Vrinda comes to see Aditya. He invites her in. Vrinda tells him that she has come to take her brother home with her as the family is incomplete without him and everyone wants him at home but he tells her that she is mistaken. Vrinda says that she needs him to be present on her engagement day. Aditya says he wants to come but he wounds won't leave him. He gifts a present to Vrinda. He has a present for Vikram too and will give it to him personally. Vrinda asks for a favour from Aditya, to stop drinking but Aditya refuses. Aditya prays that Vrinda gets all the happiness she deserves from Vikram.
Guests are in Pandey house all in celebration mode. Sharada shouts to Krishna to bring Vrinda. Vrinda is getting ready. Krishna calls her. She looks beautiful. Krishna praises her saying she looks beautiful in the saree. Vrinda tells her that Vikram had given her the saree. They joke.
Vrinda comes down, Sharada welcomes her and sings a song, Mehndhi hai rachney wali....Beautiful and touching scene between mother and daughter.
The boy side arrive. Kashinath and Banu hug, Sharada and Maya hug. Vikram touches Kashinath's feet and looks over at Vrinda. The girls brings Vikram and Vrinda together. Vikram sings song from Kuch Kuch hota Hai,, Saajan ji ghar ayee...Vrinda sings too. Both dance. Then Vikram stops to look at her and her saree and gives a sign with his thumb that the saree isn't nice. Vrinda is upset and goes up to her room and comes out in a turqoise saree. Vikram gives sign that its not nice. Vikram whispers in Nirbhay ears . Nirbhay tells Vrinda that hone wala mausaad said the earlier red saree was very beautiful and to wear that only. Vrinda wears that again but is very angry as she comes down and refuses to smile at Vikram who has a playful smile on his face.
Banu tells everyone to stop dancing and wants the ceremony to take place. Vrinda requests them to wait.
Vrinda tells Banu that Shankar is bringing Raashi. Kashinath explains that Raashi is his younger daughter. Banu agrees to wait.
Shankar is wheeling Raashi in. He tells her that there is a big surprise for her. In her mind she thinks she knows what the surprise is, today she is getting her love Vikram. She enters the beautifully decorated house. Nirbhay runs to her saying Masi has come. Everyone looks at her. Kashinath and Sharada welcome her home and wish her a happy birthday. Vikram goes to Raashi too and welcomes her and tell her that now Vrinda and him want to give her a surprise gift. Jiji/Taiji also comes forward. Vikram wheels her into the hall. In front of her, Sanya lifts a pillow carrying a ring. Vikram takes the ring. Raashi is happy and shy. Vrinda comes to stand opposite Vikram with Raashi in the middle. In front of them, Vikram lifts the ring in his hands, Vrinda puts her hand forward and at the same time, Raashi also lifts her hand but she sees Vikram putting the ring on Vrinda's finger. Raashi is shocked. Everyone claps. Vrinda puts a ring on Vikram's finger. Raashi's hands are clenched in a fist.
The End
Raashi is looking at Vikram's photo , crying and saying that this is your surprise Vikram.
Krishna bumps into Vrinda and Vrinda gives her some excuse that she was taking a piece of cake to Raashi. Krishna teases her saying she did not ask Vrinda where she was coming from or where she is going.
Raashi slits her wrist and falls to the ground.
