Where is Varun Badola in the show? has he taken up another role elsewhere because it has been a long long time he keeps on disappearing from the show?

He does have a very important character in this show to keep the audience tied up with that character so if he is up to higher demands then shouldn't he be replaced rather than having the story line or even any track suffer the consequences?😕😕
