Yay!!! Italy Won!!!👏

It was a Classic of a Match, probably the Best Finals I have ever seen!!!👏

The Match had its Highs and Lows. France started the Goal tally with a penalty hit. Zidane, with his clear brilliance got the ball into the net. This was followed by a superb corner kick taken by Andrea Pirlo which was headed by the tall Materrazi into the French net.... The score was tied.... Though France and Italy had few chances to gain the lead, the game went on to Extra Time.

With just under 10 minutes remaining for the Penalty Shoot Outs, Zindeine Zidane did a really ridiculous thing by trying a header into the chest of Materazzi, which ultimately put him lying on the ground... Zidane got the much deserved Red Card for his unruly action... This actually paved the way for Italy to win...

Come Penalties, Italy shrugged off their shock performances in Penalties till date, netted every time they took a hit... With Zidane not available to provide the penalty kick, Thesage took a kick which failed to hit the Italian net... Pirlo, Materrazi, Rossi, Del Piero and Grosso managed to show the way for Italy when it mattered..... 😳

All in all, a Great match to watch!!! But it was a pity to see Zidane's illustrious career coming to an end with such a ridiculous momentary action... Whatever it was, the reason for Zidane's reaction is unknown... Even if Materrazi had verbally accused him and told the worst of the comments possible, but it was for Zidane to keep his cool.... But he could not manage it... 😭

Three cheers to Italy for holding their nerve when it mattered the most!!! 👏They truly deserved to lift the Trophy!!!

Whoa..What a match! A Classic Final!! i shud say. Congrats Italy!!! 👏 👏 👏 U finally overcame the penalty woes and that too in a wonderful fashion, without missing one chance!

It was so heart warming to see the Italians caress the trophy in the most cutest way!!! They wud've been so elated to win the trophy for the 4th time and are the most successful European team ever!

The atmosphere was so electric and the win unpredictable until Zidane did the most ridiculous thing ever in his football career.Zidane, such a cool head had to lose his temper n hit Materazzi with a header, what a rude behaviour from the legend! with that one unruly behaviour, his career has ended in a disgrace.

Wow! Italy won!! I'm soooooo happy! I really think they deserve to win! And i must say what a sad end of ZIdane's career, he would've get the golden ball for most valuable player, but now i think they should give it to Cannavarro or Buffon of Italy!!!
