IF is d best place i found for my enjoyment time being a netizen...exploring more forums,my creations,share..all i love doing or creating chaos here...hehehehe...ya i suggestion is That "PLZ CREATE A DELETE OPTION OF YOUR OWN POSTS".. AND AN DIRECTLY UPLOAD JPG AND GIF OR PNG'S FROM OWN PC WIDOUT GOIN TO IMG HOSTING SITES...HOPE IT WKS....Hope u guys go very far...All d best... vijay n dev team..

umm, i would like more article what is gonna happen on the next rather than too much over fed of Actor's personal life. I don't want to know about their status, what they ea. all the details etc..! I just meant there should be a balance of article of their personal life with article related to the show, and upcoming track. One or two article one in a while not related to the show is ok. But, all the time it's becoming annoying. it just leads to more bashing, and actors life are more widely discussed. Plus, u say not to discuss actors personal life, while u guys are giving us overdose of article of their personal life. So, u can expect reactions nah!😵

IF is a wonderful place in the virtual world and I've been addicted to it ever since I came across it. The work done by the Admins and Dev teams is commendable, so nothing much to say about that. Though what I'd like to speak about is changes in the design and features.

The design and UI are user-friendly however, if some changes are made, this would be the most rocking place.

As must have been evident from the numerous posts ahead, certains features are demanded by alsmost everyone coz that is really needed.

Prominent being:
1. PMs: The rule of sending PMs to 20 people is a serious pain to the FF writers and Gallery updaters, most of who have over 400 people in their list and everyone demands PMS. It would be highly appreciated if people were allowed to select all the members in their buddy list with a single click and send PMs at the same time in place of 20 at a time. And also, introducing the system of creating groups in PM lists would also ne great!

2. Plaigarism: Just like the updates, even the FFs have to face the issue of plaigarism. A lot of writers have faced this issue over time which not only include people copy-pasting some other writer's work as theirs on IF but also on other websites and forums outside IF. It would be highly appreciated if we could have some functionality wherein the posts could not be copied. For a start, maybe the writers can be allowed to make their posts ''Members only'' like the updates which would prevent content being copied.

3. Delete Option: The members should be allowed to delete their posts and topics if they like.

4. Direct upload: Members should be allowed to directly upload images to IF rather than hosting them on other site first.
Plus,
Also, if we could directly upload our FFs by uploading docs (if it's possible) it would be great.

These features would make the IF experience fun for mobile users as well.

I guess, that's it for now.

Removal of TellyBuzz Articles as a Ranking Parameter

To Vijay and your team,

I know you have worked hard to give us a system where we can all compete with each other and keep us here and involved on India Forums, your efforts are appreciated and but I have a criticism about TellyBuzz articles with regards to ranking.

Commenting, Rating and Likes to TellyBuzz articles contribute to the weekly ranking for the upcoming end of week ranking only, so if the article is older then that and you do commenting those comments, ratings, likes don't contribute to the BUZZ column in the ranking because that article is old, also TellyBuzz articles are not published every week for each serial or each celebrity, I realise this is impossible to do as they are too many celebrities and serials but as a result the ranking system is not fair. Buzz should not be included as a parameter to calculate rankings, because of what I have explained, as the ranking points are lost the following week as the Buzz articles are published for other serials.

To illustrate this better

Giaa Manek was ranked 33 and she jumped up to 19, so article helped but our fan page commenting also helped as well as the commenting on the article.

The article was published on 23rd October 2011 giving us one day to COMMENT, RATE it, hit the LIKE button, before it became useless for ranking. as the rankings ran from 17th October 2011 to 23rd October 2011.

Rankings it was counted in (Buzz column) https://www.indiaforums.com/forum/rules-and-announcements/1929654/television-celebrity-ranking-for-10-17-2011-to-10-23-20

The week after it wasn't counted Giaa slips to 26 rank (check Buzz column) https://www.indiaforums.com/forum/rules-and-announcements/1937792/television-celebrity-ranking-for-10-24-2011-to-10-30-20

I would like a change to the ranking system, I love TellyBuzz articles, I think your team is doing a good job getting us in contact with our favourite celebrities, I would like them to very much continue but for them to not count in the ranking system, because choosing who is going to get a TellyBuzz article is subjective, when a TB article is released, Saath Nibhana Saathiya fans have it for one day only for ranking purposes others have it for 5 days (example Kinshuk Maharajan 22nd November article) so fans can make more comments plus all their comments count the following week, also why he is having so many articles every week an article, it's because of the BUZZ of his marriage, but us having a campaign in the Ranking 30 to 40 range makes our celebrity Giaa Manek have more comments and likes on her fan page, so I put it to you, someone having more comments and likes isn't that equivalent to having more of a BUZZ then the people you have chosen to have TB articles last week? So for the system of ranking to be fairer the TB articles must not count in the ranking.

I think incorporation of TRP, TVR/TAM ratings would be fairer, as the viewers have made their choice in picking which program to watch for that week, so an introduction of TRP as a parameter in the ranking and given more weightage points (the same weightage that a BUZZ points are given now). Why should TRP be given higher weightage then other parameters because the ranking system must not be influenced by personal opinions or feelings it should consider and represent the facts, the fact being viewers made a choice in picking what serial or show to watch in the week, follow the TAM or TRP ratings because it's more objective to do so.

I'm having loads of issues here since months now, i always get stalkers on my profile, they wont get off my profile and its getting really annoying...can we block stalkers/haters who we dont want visiting our profiles and sending us scraps coz it creates a lot of problems and fights!! it would be better to make our whole profile private!!stalkers/haters spoil my mood..some strict action needs to be taken against them coz they always create trouble, cant mind their own business 😆 can we also delete our outbox...other than that the site is awesome, i love all the feautures...i've made loads of amazing friends here and addicted to this site...great job vijay, keep up all the good work and please consider these suggestions...some great suggestions i've read here...hope you'll make them happen!!

So...can folks who do the written updates be given the right to make their topics a sticky ASAP? This is needed in many fora. It is a pain to dig through pages of posts just to find a written update. For e.g.:

1. Ek Hazaaron Main Meri Behna Hain...no clue who should be doing updates and they are rarely ever made a sticky even when somebody does do it.
2. Kuch to Log Kahenge forum
3. Maryaada forum...coolbies assigned do not do WU anymore and those who cannot make their topics a sticky

This is should be fairly easy to do right? If so, why does it take this long to get it sorted out?

Also...I made a post in the suggestions section frustrated with IF's inability to do something about the WUs being copied all over the internet...and after more than a week, there has been zero response from you or any of your team. When will this be fixed?
