When Giaa Manek completed her education she had only one thing in her mind; to become an actress. She refuses to think what she would have been if not an actor.

TellyBuzz caught up with the actor to have a chat on what alternate profession she would like to be in if not an actor.

What If with Giaa Manek

"I do not really want to think What If… today because since childhood I have been so fascinated about acting and the world of entertainment. I was always captivated to performances and I love to dance and perform for award functions and I also love to take part in reality shows like Jhalak Dikhla Jaa. And I knew it was possible when you are seen to people.

When I decided on acting, my dad was in two minds because we all know how the industry is. But then I made him understand that if our conduct is good, then we do not need to worry about anything. My mother was more than supportive and I couldn't ask for more.

I have not taken any acting classes and after I did my Honors in Marketing, I started giving auditions like any aspiring actor. And I learnt acting during the process of auditions.

Though I am in acting career today, I know how important education is as there will be one point of time where you will have to stand by your own. In future if your parents turn your back then there should something for you to back on. Education is only the best friend that will be with you."
