Janki Devi has some personality disorder or an evil twin. Ek hi episode mein, she showed more shades that a paint catalogue. Like take a side and stick to it. Atleast be a little consistent. Can’t take a single bet on this woman. Bolti kya hai, chahti kya hai, sochti kya hai, karti kya hai - everything is different.

I come from a very conservative South Indian family and most of the love marriages in our family were unsuccessful. Unhappy, loveless, money troubles, infidelity etc etc. My sister wanted to get married to her bf but ultimately broke up and had an arranged marriage. Same with two of my cousins while quite a few(more than 8-9) had a love marriage. I had to fight really hard to get married into a different culture and different caste. The kind of pressure Indian families can put you in is unreal. I mean I had the most open minded and free parents (brought up as a third culture kid in several countries, later curfew, no rules on dressing or friendships or drinking etc) but they still opposed it so hard. So I understand what Rauli are going through but if my family had talked about my partner this way or his family had disrespected me like this, I don’t think we would have gotten married even after being together for more than 10 years. You can fight archaic thoughts, you can fight hypocrisy, you can fight austerity but it’s difficult to fight hatred. Mauli not having a family sucks for her because no way a loving parent would have let Mauli go through so much disrespect without any consequence.

I want Rauli to get married, but if it’s without any repercussions or groveling from the Agarwal’s, I am going to be so pissed.

So moved with your story. Kudos to you for brsaking the society barriers and fighting all the odds to win you love with the approval of family 👏🏼 👏🏼

Lets see with how much sensitivity the show takes this topic ahead and if comes up with real life issues and problems of marriage in future or not.

Majanta had love marriage they already knew it. Rahul and Rati too were getting a love marriage only though equally supported by the families but all these hypocrites including the sade chachu were more than happier for it. Swara too mentioned in the initial episodes itself that Vaibhav had a love marriage with their consent. So how come he even dare to mention that love marriages are not being the practice of their house ?? You have got the best of the partner ever without making any efforts doesn't mean you will keep finding faults in other's freedom to chose their partners. Cutie chachi please keep him in check with your 2.0 version😓

Manoj is actually the victim here but these ppl were hell bent on u know making him the criminal. Hypocrisy inki rag rag me hai to aur kya hi expect kr sakte hain I'm glad SS devi apologised for that too yesterday.

Yes agreed credit to Raina for fighting for her love and staying strong but I feel ye har doosre ghar ki kahani hai humare society mein.But glad times are changing and I believe families will be a lot more open in the future regarding love marriages.
