Kinda pleased with Vijay because finally sudhar gaya. He is quick to anger and quick to mellow. I think a lot of his reservation was about Rahul being in a relationship with Rati, his childhood friend, already and compounded by Mauli being a divorcee. Ek problem gayi toh he went back on his earlier words.

Tanvi being a problem is so annoying. Kahaan humein laga tha that it would be Tanvi-Mauli vs Ajanta-Manas’ wife when he returns (in the early days when she was normal) aur kahaan yeh drama.

Don’t understand how Mauli-Manoj can just shrug off all the demeaning things said about Mauli’s character and move on. No residual hard feelings?

Janki Devi has some personality disorder or an evil twin. Ek hi episode mein, she showed more shades that a paint catalogue. Like take a side and stick to it. Atleast be a little consistent. Can’t take a single bet on this woman. Bolti kya hai, chahti kya hai, sochti kya hai, karti kya hai - everything is different.

I come from a very conservative South Indian family and most of the love marriages in our family were unsuccessful. Unhappy, loveless, money troubles, infidelity etc etc. My sister wanted to get married to her bf but ultimately broke up and had an arranged marriage. Same with two of my cousins while quite a few(more than 8-9) had a love marriage. I had to fight really hard to get married into a different culture and different caste. The kind of pressure Indian families can put you in is unreal. I mean I had the most open minded and free parents (brought up as a third culture kid in several countries, later curfew, no rules on dressing or friendships or drinking etc) but they still opposed it so hard. So I understand what Rauli are going through but if my family had talked about my partner this way or his family had disrespected me like this, I don’t think we would have gotten married even after being together for more than 10 years. You can fight archaic thoughts, you can fight hypocrisy, you can fight austerity but it’s difficult to fight hatred. Mauli not having a family sucks for her because no way a loving parent would have let Mauli go through so much disrespect without any consequence.

I want Rauli to get married, but if it’s without any repercussions or groveling from the Agarwal’s, I am going to be so pissed.

Yup I always felt Vijay wasn't the problem yeah he had his reservations regarding Rauli but as u've mentioned since those reservations r sorted he's truly looking for his son's happiness. It's DW who's the main problem due to her hatred for Mauli ( which is also sudden cos come on she was shown praising Mauli) also we've seen how it's her who bhadkaofied Vijay most of the times.

Well all the demeaning things r there & no one's forgetting it I guess they're all happy that Rauli r getting married that's it u know like all's well that ends well.

Ikr such a flipper that budhiya turned out to be behaving as if she never had a problem with Rauli & was always happy with them 😅😂.

Totally agreed Mauli not having an actual family is a huge set back on her part. I guess now apart from DW everyone's gonna be sane & u know we may kinda get to see them apologising too.
