I am just glad that we have Shivangi playing the role with sheer brilliance, hence, we can atleast connect with it to some extent.

I was able to connect (in fact used to cheer her all the time) until the Mandaar track. I was so glad to see an FL doing something different on ITV after ages, but they just never seemed to recover from that track and neither did fans like me who disconnected. 😔

I love Raghav's character but as a woman I was happy to see an FL who was learning how to fight for herself and find creative ways to respond to the MLs challenges instead of shedding tears non-stop or blaming fate or God for everything. Shame they lost the opportunity to give her a full story arc.

Could be completely my opinion but i really have a feeling that our old Pallavi is getting back on track.

Yes Mandaar track was shitty and creepy but i completely take it as writer's fault and not Pallavi's so i might never disconnect with her. In the same way that Raghav was being poorly written in the past few episodes with constant drinking but it's the writer's fault and not the character's hence i can never be disaapointed or disconnected with him.

Moreover everyone deserves a second chance.

Yes those story arcs are never going to complete. Also the dialogues of Pallavi's character distances her from the viewer. There was a lot of potential but it's all gone now. Being the female lead her story was an essential. I would have loved to see her past as Pallavi Sawant before she moved to Hyderabad. At least in the current track that they have started some amount of character growth must happen.

Yes they can do it a bit subtly but as we know unfortunately it is something that is injurious to health and should be done in a limit. If they pursue with this thought and concept i think it can bring out a good message for the audience. But the thing is that writers always end up taking things as extreme so i have no hope.

But it is obvious that his reports might be a bit concerning but i don't think Pallavi is gonna get really harsh on this topic. She's just trying to reduce the intake, hence the dialogue in today's episode where she says that he can have a drink or two while she sips on her green tea.

The comparitive on one small drink vs a whole bottle of liquor.

I don't think any of the topics Pallavi raised (illegal business, alcoholism, his rude behavior with others) is a problem. In fact, I'm happy they are actively calling this out in the show and it needs to be done. A constantly drunk ML isn't romantic or cool and neither is an FL/spouse who has to put up with it blindly in the name of love or dedication to her husband.

While she wants him to do things in moderation, her approach is anything but moderate and this is what is bothersome. Even the way she took his money away was extreme. It left him humiliated and her not considering that was also not good. It's very much in character but then again the writers are deliberately making her OTT. They have for a long time. Is it because they feel that being bold means being OTT? Because when it comes to Raghav they write subtle actions and dialogues, which means they know how to do it.

Yesterday, there were dialogues about him being a project. Why? Because the writers wanted to highlight this and it's definitely going somewhere. We will see that loop being closed too, because his question about her accepting him needs to be answered by the writers somewhere. At least, I hope it will be or it seems lopsided.

If what your feeling is how things play out then it would definitely elevate the story to another level.

Re: second chances, I don't know how many chances we've given the MHRW team so far because of our love for the show and their work. 🤣

I think they've tried making Pallavi different and not OTT but wasn't satistfied with the trp numbers . Hence, right now when the slot timing has also been changed they're desperate for numbers now , and according to itv traditions OTT means trp. Humongous over dramatic words in dialogues means trp.

I think we'll have to bear with this desperation of them just for sometime if we wanna keep our show running.

You know i belive this actually started way back when they gave both of them mismatched dialogues after Kirti's wedding track and then this changing one wala.

@bold: trust me i left the show after defamation wala episode where Raghav ruined her image. I was soo pissed off for ruining Raghav for me cause it hurted like hell. Nobody deserved that. neither Pallavi nor Raghav and also not even Kirti. But this is our love and love makes us always give up.

I love both Raghav and Pallavi hence i'll always end up giving them second chances.

Raghav ke store room pallavi ke ex ki ring

Raghav ke cupboard me uske ex ki tap

Raghav ke kaun se kone me keerti ya farhad ke ex ka kuch milega

Cupboard jaise kabhi saaf hi nahi kiya jaise woh recording mila

Pallavi to dekhti hi hogi

But ITV logic ko jane do 😆
