But atleast Sai gets matter to work with ,I doubt makers even wrote any back story for Pallavi . Shivangi relys on her own understanding of Pallavi and RaghVi. Upar se dialogues she’s given smiley39. Sare trp ke tadke Pallavi ke dialogues main hi Marne hai inko smiley24.

Itna partial behaviour lead ke saath kisi show main nahi dekha maine lol .

Shivangi talented hai , yahi saving grace hai 🤧

I think Sandip said back then that initially she did have a story of a widow who was struggling with many things but that they scrapped it based on feedback that people didn't want to see a widow's struggle. I think they went to the other extreme by showing hardly anything. I'm not saying that her character had to wear white clothes or be shown as abla nari, bechari (phew, thank goodness they avoided that). I think they could have used her conversations with Krishna, etc. to drop hints and then build it up.

The biggest issue I can see is that they failed to establish why she is so attached to the Ds, i.e. what is it about her past or her nature that makes her feel this way about them over her own brother. I think having her talk to Siddesh on the phone from time to time would have helped a bit, even if we only saw her side of the conversation or again if she mentioned to other people that she talked to him/about him. The fact that he doesn't appear at all in crucial moments is just jarring especially because he seems to be a decent, good man who cares for her wellbeing and apparently practically raised her. I remember how much we were gushing about his care for her when she only mentioned in passing that she opened her eyes in the world in his arms. Personally, my respect for him went up manifold during that maar daalo scene but even before that, the way he supported her during the abortion track was also heartwarming.

Unless we're told otherwise, it's clear Siddesh would be her rock at all times so not bringing him into the story, even if indirectly is what caused a lot of the disconnect too. Perhaps nothing significant happened in her past that they had sketched out back then, beyond her growing up as an orphan but with Sunny's investigations it appears they are fleshing that out and adding more content. I am sure it will come up because Sunny will resist being thrown out of RR mansion.

I know right.

The only thing that has changed is their feelings and mischief behind it.

I just wish they had used a better camera angle, it seemed a bit choppy and unusual for this team especially. Par chalo, koi nahin.

I actually want his reports to turn out ok because it gives Pallavi a chance to learn to let go some things. She can try to use other subtle tactics to help him understand how badly he needs to curb his drinking and to resort to less harmful outlets when his emotions overwhelm him.

With the ex in the picture and old hurts surfacing, I don't know that he's ready to drown his sorrows in green tea, though.

I think the writers are trying to bring into notice the alchoholism in the itv shows via Pallavi. Yes they can do it a bit subtly but as we know unfortunately it is something that is injurious to health and should be done in a limit. If they pursue with this thought and concept i think it can bring out a good message for the audience. But the thing is that writers always end up taking things as extreme so i have no hope.

But it is obvious that his reports might be a bit concerning but i don't think Pallavi is gonna get really harsh on this topic. She's just trying to reduce the intake, hence the dialogue in today's episode where she says that he can have a drink or two while she sips on her green tea.

The comparitive on one small drink vs a whole bottle of liquor.

Ikr such poor writing when it comes to Pallavi.

I am just glad that we have Shivangi playing the role with sheer brilliance, hence, we can atleast connect with it to some extent.
