Jin logo ne original nahi dekha hai, woh dekhna nahi chahte, and isko ek fresh story ki tarah hi treat karna chahte hai.Comparison karke, mazaa kirkira ho jaata hai. Aisa nahi hai that I am not aware of the original version. But MHRW has lot more differences in terms of premise and execution. The main leads too are very different from the original leads. Dekho tropes are common all over ITV - regional ho ya na ho. But compare karke, spoiler de ke viewing experience kharaab hota hai, ye soch soch kar, "haaye aisa hoga, waisa hoga". So let's just stop doing that for our own sake. Let's only enjoy this version and watch it as something new - because frankly, this is new for me.

Agree 100%. It also sends the wrong message if he wins her over just like that without repenting for his past actions that were unacceptable.

I am hoping she will reject him because of guilt or being tied to Mandaar's memories, because she feels she will be a widow all her life but on his face she's going to say that he's her enemy and the last person in the world she'd marry.

Raghav ko bura lagega but something tells me he will still keep trying to woo her or somehow they will keep running into each other until Pallavi relents.

Raghav healthily rejection handle karne walon me se lagta nahi mujhko. And uske life ka tragedy bhi yahi hai that whoever he wants the most, does not want to be with him. The Amma angle is different. I feel that what he did was because he was naive and wrong, and his naivete led to the demise of his brother and father. Otherwise which person wants to hurt their family. So, Amma should at least try to show some amount of leniency, when the man is actually trying to make amends, instead of judging him for his profession. At the end of the day, she is his mother, he cannot disrespect or hurt her, and he cannot stop trying, because, she is family. Amma ka rejection handle kar leta hai Raghav because they will not go away from him, they will always stay his family and no matter how angry, his mother loves him. That he also knows. To waha rejection bhi hai lekin apnapan bhi hai, jo Raghav has confidence of.

But Pallavi angle is different. She is the only woman among many who has managed to capture his attention, be it for his hurt ego, be it for his wrong understanding of her, be it her courage and audacity. He has come to respect her in a twisted way. She is not his mom, that in spite of shunning him, he will be confident that she will not leave him. Pallavi is not emotionally invested in him, she may be attracted and intrigued, but not enough to be with him. Will his ego and pride be able to swallow Pallavi's rejection? Does he really think that after all that he did to Pallavi, she would actually accept if he proposed? I think not. He will not be able to handle it. He will always hover, or act possessive or territorial or impose his Dongiri. He will do what he has been used to doing. Infact, even if he comes to know her widow's truth, I don't see him stopping from bulldozing his way into Pallavi's space. I agree with what you said, and an insecure Raghav is not a happy one. I just wonder if by then he would have mellowed enough to consider her feelings and give her space. He will never cross limits but I want him to show that love can be passionate and fiery and not just about sweetness and domestic affairs (as she may have imagined a life with Mandaar). He does everything he can for the ones he loves but she's the only thing he would want for his own happiness. I also wonder if his remorse will prevent him from expressing his feelings to her in the first place, at least verbally, even if his action will say it all.

Will be interesting to see the sparks fly, and I know Sai will nail it!

Pallu will definitely hold back her emotions for him coz of her aai -baba mainly. Aai will push her to start a new life but baba will play the villain here 😆 also yeah mandar memories will play a part in it.kaku will make sure that pallu never forget that connection

@bold, this entire show is depending on this but there may be a twist. I think he's been hurt in love before and it would be pretty interesting if the roles were reversed and he shies away while Pallavi tries to win him over. I know that's typically not what we see on ITV when the ML is shown to be an alpha male but in this show it could work really well, especially after the bomb/alarm clock scene.

See, mellowing in a sense that he won't trouble Pallavi to give his ego a kick and torture her. That is the only sense of mellowing I can comprehend. Apart from that, Raghav is incapable of mellowing down more than that, at least initially, when he has to face Pallavi pushing him away. He won't like it. He would want to be close to her, near her and she will just want to avoid him or cut him off altogether. That does not bode well for either.

Raghav's style of love is very different. It isn't domesticated, it's aggressive and untamed. But that does not mean it isn't love. Pallavi hasn't ever seen that kind of love. So she is in for a rude awakening, cause Raghav in love will be even worse than Raghav the egoist Don. Raghav has always set his limits with women, especially Pallavi, which is why she is so comfortable even when she is doing tashanbaazi and badtameezi. He is restrained, and that restraint is solidified by his mind. But love is done from heart and unrestrained, he will go all in Pallavi's space and that will shock Pallavi a lot. And Pallavi continuously withdrawing from him, is going to irk him.

Just remember the night of her absence, Raghav said, "Challenge chod ke kaise ja sakti hai". When he reminds her day in day out to withdraw and leave. So you see, he sees a minute possibility of Pallavi withdrawing from anything remotely connected to him, he goes berserk. Just imagine, when love creeps in here, what will happen. I feel terrible for Pallavi. Cause if she feels Raghav is too much, then sweety, he hasn't even started with "too much" yet.

And finally, elaborating on your point. Amma and Kirti are family that Raghav is born into, he hasn't chosen it for himself. Family will always be there, chahe kitne bhi problems ho, woh rahenge zaroor. Lekin Pallavi is someone Raghav will consciously choose to have for himself, only for himself. What you describe fits right in with his personality and I would rather he behave this way than do a 180 and become a kitten all of a sudden. It would seem out of place and unpalatable to the audience. I want her to be crazy about her but not lose his dignity and self-restraint. Also, completely agree that he does exert a lot of self-control in his emotions. He's become like that, but when the floodgates open I just can't imagine how overwhelming it can be for the recipient, especially one who is an orphan and has been living away from her brother with her in-laws for a while in a somewhat toxic environment.

I like the volcanic eruption analogy because it really fits here but I also want to see if the PH will have the courage to show Pallavi eventually match him 1 on 1 in that aspect when she's ready to open up. I can't imagine her being sweet and docile with him. They crossed that bridge a long time ago. He has a very possessive and protective streak in general for those he cares about (we saw it in his interaction with even his close men) so it can only be manifold when it comes to Pallavi.

I want to know if, when he realizes he loves her, will he accept it and behave accordingly or will he be in denial until something wakes him up and makes him realizes she's branded onto his heart and can't be let go.
