Anbukkum Arivukkum ellaiye illai

( SSE, JSE and Tilaga moovarum kannal pozhiyum
mazhaikku koodathan!!)

Danda chides JSE(Junior Saucer eyes) about
leaving her jewellery in her parental home.
JSE tries to justify that she left suddenly
with hubby darling and so left behind every
thing. Danda wants her to bring back the whole
thing and orders Bhoopathi to take her. Pechimuthu
offers to do the needful but Danda negates. JSE
has no option but to go.

Half baked with MIL in the kitchen - love over
flowing between MIL and DIL - MIL wants half nut
to make vattal kozhambu and of course she knows
nothing. Sheepishly says that she does not know
and has visions of an old memory - MIL shouting
about not knowing to cook but knows to talk only -
MIL is all smiles " ask your FIL, he cooks better
than me" - DIL praises FIL and MIL jokes " He
knows to cook well and advise - thats all,
matha padi he is not worldly wise" - MIL leaves
to buy some thing. Pushpa ( MIL's relative) walks in.
Asks Nut to get some water and starts to "alanthufy
Kalai vambu by an ozhakkku" Nut fumes and shoots in
her usual way - (enna temper intha ponnukku???
asattukku aangaraam nnu solrathu romba sari!!)
Pushpa proves that she is a step ahead by calling
nut as " Moonjile mullu vaichikittu suthum pidari"
and leaves angrily. Nut is heaving in anger.

Kalai's house - Megala loading the lorry - Kirtana
and Sezhiyan feeling bad about leaving the house.
Megala consoles them " appa had so many dreams about
this place, he left every thing and went away,
avarukku evvalavu kashtam blah blah..." Thatha
wants to know what to do about athai's things and
Sezhiyan wants it to be dumped.

Athai comes in with an advocate - advocate says that
he can do the needful to retain the house. Megala
comes out with her wisecracks -" no izhuthadippu,
we will pay back our dad's dues ( pray how my dear??)
we are facing our problems as best as we can, so get
lost" Sezhiyan jalra thattufies- athai angry - but
they send the advocate away. Tilaga cries ( so, whats new??)
Megala consoles, finally all leave - each with some
luggage in hand.

As they near the gate, JSE arrives with hubby darling.
Tilaga welcomes and Bhootham comments about their
leaving " neenga dera thookiyaachu, na enge vara?
nadu road le company tharavaa??" - Tilaga and SSE
exchange looks (mazhai varuthu mazhai varuthu kudai
kondu vaa - BG music by Roja) Bhootham wants JSE to
ask for her jewells, JSE is all set to wet Chennai
streets ......

Bootham asks Thilaga if she is inviting him to give company in the middle of the road. Then he shouts at JSE asking her to get the jewelries. Kanmani asks for the jewelries from Thilaga, forced by Bootham from behind. Everyone is surprised hearing it (as though that is the first time such a thing is happening😡). Thilaga says the jewelries are in the drawer which is on the lorry, and Bootham insisted for opening it at that time, doubting if they have sold it. Then he tells to Thilaga, "I know you must be very sad to take it out at this situation, so gimme the key, I will get it". Selian gives the key to Bootham, where he climbs up getting the jewelries and also putting something in his pocket (not sure what was it), JSE follows Bootham, after crying to SSE.

Everyone is about to get into the auto, when Diwa's cousin brings the neighbor there. The lady curses Kalai's family for cheating the money and asks to give the money before leaving. Then she says, "Puspa, tell it to your relative". Then Puspa tells how she is related to Sakthi, and Selian tells them no matter who they are, they should come to talk only at his office not at the road. The lady scolds saying, when you are even leaving the house, how can I meet you in office. Attai butts in scolding Megala and Selian for deciding to change the house, as people have started to talk badly. Selian shuts Attai's mouth and asks the lady to meet him at office and leaves the place. The lady keeps on cursing at the road, when the auto and lorry had moved. Puspa notices the phone number on the lorry, and says she will call and ask where they are shifting, so that they can ask for money at the new house. The lady's husband arrives there at that time, where Puspa gives the number asking him to call.

Everyone is bringing the things into the house, and the house owner who sees this scolds them for the amount of the things they are bringing in. About then, the man who gets the address arrives there asking for money (is it so easy to get the personal particulars of others?😕). Mestry convinces the guy and asks him to go back saying they will do something for their houses. The house owner sees the whole drama, then asks them to get out of the house scolding them as fraud family. He also adds to say that he is not ready to face court cases, if the ladies drink poison and die in the house because of their financial problem. And the lorry agent says he has to move immediately as he has another appointment. Megala negotiates with him and asks for 15 mins. The agent says to his workers if they are not settled within 15mins, they will leave the things on the road. Crying queens are in action now. Attai accuses Megala for achieving her plan of making them to stand at road. Megala asks her why she needs to talk such a way when everyone is feeling sad. Attai replies, "All this started at the time you entered..." Before she finishes her sentences, Megala shouts at her "Shut up. If you say anything further, I dont know what will happen" (Megala starts to show the power👏👏). Everyone is taken back. Tata arrives there telling that the owner has given back the advance not wanting them to stay there. So Megala decides that they should stay at the site, though the work is not completed, and gives instruction for everyone to prepare for moving again in between of consoling Thilaga. Attai is all quiet with irritated look. The watch man at the site wonders why they are there, and mestry explains to him. Megala again gives instruction telling them to put half of the things there, and half in the store. Everyone walks into the incomplete house and sad, while Thilaga finds a corner there to sit down and cry. Megala is sad to see everyone is standing on the corners of the house, and crying silently. ok. from what I remember.

A truck carrying all of the Kalai household samaaan is headed for the rental place. Diwakar's cousin comes and makes a big scene that y'all are running away, where are my debts? Selian consoles him saying don't make a scene in the road, meet me at the resort office tomorrow. She smartly notes down the truck number.

When the truck arrives at the rental place, diwakar's cousin's hubby too comes in a scooter. He makes a lot of noise in the middle of the road. Atthai has already gone upstairs and hears the commotion. She comes down and blames Meghala. See what happens when you get bright ideas. The great actress tells her off! Atthai is shocked. Meanwhile the nosey renter ask's what's all this, I thought you were a decent family. I do not want to rent to y'all and returns the advance.

Meghala proposes that everyone move to the resort. The truck drivers reluctantly re-load and go to the resort. Meghala orders only the essentials be unloaded and the rest go to the godown. The kalai family convenes in a makeshift construction and there are some azhugai scenes. Meghala looks at the family asking herself can't any of these people be mentally stronger? What a great actress.

Among the spoilers, the only one that struck me was Shakti pointing a finger at gujju behn. Shakti, save the Kalai family 'cause you're the only capable one.

5/12/07 - Wednesday

Unfinished house - thatha, Sezhiyan and Tilaga
crying in their own corners. SSE is assuming
control. Wants to call all the customers to the
site and explain the situation. Athai interjects
with her 2 cents. " My thambi. the great builder
could not accomplish all this, who are u?"
But Megala has the veto power (keeps drawing her
breath in!!! must be an asthma patient's voice
as play back). She insists on organizing a
customer meet and asking for some more time to
complete the project. She says that if the
customers agree to their proposal half the
battle is won. Athai is all angry " enna my
thambi wont come back nnu mudivu pannitingalaa?
avan varuvaan, appo irukku ungalukkellam diwali"
Tilaga as usual cries with fear but thatha has
found his tongue " ipdi pesi thaane intha nilamai
kku kondu vanthirukka - ava pesattum,, lets get
to work" ( feels good to see athai being side lined!!)

Half baked calls Kirtana to find out about the new
house. Kirtana narrates about how nut's relative came
and fought in the new house and how the owner threw them
out. She tells nut about their stay in the unfinished
site. Now it is nut's turn to cry ( competes with SSE
and JSE all the way!!!) Nut spills the whole drama
to MIL about Pushpa and her misdemeanor. MIL is all
understanding and promises to admonish Pushpa. But nut
wants to pay a visit to mommy and siblings which is
again " aye aye"d by MIL - " Diwa will come now, take
him along and go".

Sezhiyan, thatha, and SSE along with mesthry( future
sambandhi aache!!) in an office - the one who supplies
materials. He says that Kalai owes another 1 and a half
lakhs - Sezhiyan gets angry and shouts. But SSE calms
his down. Wants the supplier to supply as usual but he
refuses. Megala is introduced as Kalai's first daughter
who went away for "studies" and will run his business
from now on. Supplier refuses to be part of their plan
and is ready to write off their loan "aalai vidunga samy,
me not game for this drama" - Megala gives a spirited
speech about how they can evade the customers by
saying that they can not be held responsible for Kalai's
mis- management but she does not want Kalai's name
tarnished (ippo apdiye silver and gold pole pala pala
kkuthe!!) She vows to pay every cent her dad owes
blah blah... Thatha and Sezhiyan play dumb charade -
at last... the supplier gets convinced and agrees to
help - on one condition - " a deposit of 5 lakhs pls and
then me supply" Megs agrees for that but needs a few
days time. Supplier does a "boom boom maadu" act and
the quartet leave with happy faces ( smiling faces kkum
intha serial kkum nooru porutham, athi poothal ipdi than
irukkumo??)

Supplier's friend laments that he has bought vendatha
vambu paying a price. Supplier tells him that this girl is
"sadikka piranthaval" and she looks like the younger
version of Kalai!!! (DNA test lam vendam ppa, ithu pole one
or two statements will confirm parentage!!!)

Danda's home:
Danda praises son to skies - Joined by Pechi Muthu.
Bhootham pats his own back by saying that he made
sure to get on top of the lorry to open the box and
retrieve the gold. Onlookers are Mrs.Danda, Sara's
mom - sporting a pathetic face. Danda orders JSE
to safe keep everything. JSE does her usual asthmatic
drawing in of breath and wets just one street of Chennai.

TTTaaadddaaaynnng Tamarai arrives with hubby
and son. Starts her usual tirade. Wants to know
about her room. Mom replies that the room is not
ready as yet. Tamarai chides JSE " enna innum
Kalai veettu ilavarasi nnu ninappa?? clean panna
mudiyathaa?" Mom tries to placate but JSE agrees
to clean asap - (nasal acceptance - ayyo, play
back voice ai maathunga ppa) She goes to clean and
the first DIL follows. She offers to help but keeps
complaining about Tamarai, her capacity to tear
people apart, vatti kudumbam and their ability to
eat etc., etc., She adds that JSE should try to tie
bhootham in her iduppu and keep him there before
the newness of the marriage wears off. JSE has
a dejected smile and accepts to follow the advice.

Nut waiting for hubby darling.MIL is busy. Keeps
looking at the gate. Nut wants to leave to see mommy.
Wants Diwa to come there when he arrives and she
goes to get ready. Pushpa arrives and talks with her
chithi. Chithi chides Pushpa about her misdemeanor.
Pushpa defends herself - Nut arrives there and blasts
Pushpa. Fight ensues between the two.
Nut: " yen kudumbathai pathi pesina enna pannuvennu
enakke theriyaathu. nee yaaru athu pathi pesa?
mariyadai kettudum"
Pushpa: ennadi pannuve?
Nut: Kazhuthai nerichu konnuduven
Both get into a fist fight. MIL separates them
and shouts at DIL. Nut confronts MIL. MIL categori-
cally says that nut has to be patient " un kudumbam
ippo irukkira nilamai le nee poruthan poganum. Pray,
how do u plan to fight with all those who talk??"
Nut lashes out at MIL - " u acted as if u are
concerned about me and tried to be nice. In truth,
u still do not like me. Now I know that u care
only about your relative" ( this girl is the most
unreasonable case!!! what temper and how
immature??') MIL is annoyed and says that she
can assume whatever she wants. Nut leaves with
tears - (once again proves her parentage - SSE,
JSE and Tilaga genes!!)MIL sends away the
"sandai kozhi" Pushpa.

Kalai family in discussion. Tilaga laments -
unsure of all of Megala's act - Megala seems to be
confident. Thatha praises her " supplier aiye
sammathikka vaichitte, customers enna jujubi?"
Athai shouts at Megala but she ignores. " now we
have to be strong. If any one talks negative stuff,
I do not plan to listen to all that crap" At that
most appropriate moment nut enters. Athai addresses
her as 'odugali" and narrates the "Pushpa saga"
with gusto. Nut copies JSE and Diwa(poor guy!!)
arrives --

7/12/07 Friday Episode 132

Recap - Half baked has the guts to ask athai
"na enna thappu panninen?" - athai takes the
avtar of "mariamma, Kaaliamma" - meek Diwa
could not have timed it better - enters and
athai is quick to observe " vanthuttan, pondatti
podavai munthanai yai pidichikittu" - The Pushpa
saga gets repeated and Diwa apologizes on behalf
of his cousin. He invites them all to his house
once again and athai is all electrified. "now I
know why you want us there!!1 Since me and my brother
came and fought in your house, u want retribution.
You get monthly salary and u want us to beg from you.
Do u know about our kudumbam?" Tilaga tries to
stop Diwa" thambi, pecchai valakkathinga" Athai
is back to her soolam dance " ahaaa, so u accept
him as your SIL?? my brother....my brother..."
Sezhiyan tries to stop athai and finally,SSE pulls
Sakthi out " u both come here in good intention
every time but the fight seems to get worse. U take
care of your lives, we will manage our problems, scoot"
The couple leave, the rest of the family get back to
their " looking at the mottu valai and sulking" act -
SSE takes Geetha in to cook (I guess) athai is all
satisfied and ties her loose hair with gusto.
( Nut never defended her puguntha veedu, she fought
vehemently with MIL when it came to her dad's side!!)

Diwa's house. His dad is ready with food. Nut and MIL
imitate 2 planets of "navagraham" - each facing
away from each other. Diwa brings an interview card
for nut - arranged by his friend. Dad tries to placate -
" santhoshamaa irukkirathu thaan easy, moonji
yai thooki vaichindu kovamaa irukkirathu kashtam -
u want to do things the easy way or suffer the hard way??
both of u are basically nice women but succumb to outside
provocation easily..." MIL and DIL still kadu kadu -
looks like nut feels ashamed about her anger but can
not bring herself to apologize to MIL - Dad serves food..

Tamarai and hubby - hubby rocks the cradle. Tamarai
has ordered for nei paniyaaram -"gama gama
vaasanai varuthuppa" Danda chides her about
letting her hubby to take care of baby - Tamarai
talks about learning things by practice. Chithi
brings paniyaaram - Tamarai praises the taste
and chithi gives the credit to JSE. Pechi Muthu
walks in bringing the news of Kalai's family
staying in the unfinished flat - JSE does the
other act / use of her eyes - opens it wide!!!!
Tamarai remarks about the atrocity of staying in
the unfinished apartment " panam kuduthavanga
kannile mannu thoovittu, epdi than ange poi ukkara
mudiyutho??" Hubby and Saravanan try to seal
(?? is it possible??!!) her mouth but Danda supports
his daughter. Tamarai is all keyed up and says
" for ever she cries and moonjiyai thooki vaichikittu
irukka ( Oh Tamarai u spoke my mind!!!). epdi namma
veedu vilangum?" - JSE runs inside and repeatedly
bangs her head on a cupboard. MIL comes and
pacifies her, chides Tamarai but Danda says that
what Tamarai says is true " antha ponnu eppo parthaalum
azhuthu (ayyo, athai pakkara engalukku epdi irukkunnu
solli than theriyanumaa??) namma veetukku aaguma?"
MIL shoo shoos Tamarai who has the last word as
usual " amma eppovum marumagalukku than support
pannuthu" - JSE opens her dam and cries on the shoulders
of her MIL " eppo pathalum kuthi kuthi pesina na enna
seyya?? nanum ponnuthane??" (oh really, we thought
that u are just a reservoir - ready to irrigate Mother earth!!!)

Freeze - rushes le all the faces, again bhootham pushing JSE......

Monday 10/12/07 - Episode 132 Pokkiri payya,
what will I do with out you????

Kirtana is studying - a few friends walking in
the area and see her. Call out to her but
Kirtana hides inside - deems it fit to ape
SSE and JSE (sheds a few tears, vera enna?)
- SSE sends envoy Geetha to check out the visitors.
Friends want to chit chat with Kirtana, Geetha
goes in to call her. Kirtana refuses to grant
audience " pakka vekkama irukku, asingama irukku,
poga sollidu Geetha" but Geetha prefers inviting
them in - ( I will soon be the DIL of this house,
ok??) Friends barge in, console Kirtana " nee
kashtathile irukke nnu therinju than pakka vanthom,
college kku koopida vanthom". Kirtana continues to
fuss and so the friends present their case to the
august court - presided by Tilaga and SSE - " pls
send her with us, she can not read here, send her
to my house,next week exam, ok??" SSE promises to
look in to the case and sends them away. Friends
leave. SSE presides over the court, advises Kirtana
who does not want to continue her education. Kirtana
looks for an escape route "amma, nee enna solre?" -
Tilaga tows the line of SSE - Kirtana has to study
(thappikkalam nnu partha vida maatangale!!) Geetha
steals an opportunity to lecture Sezhiyan ( konjam
kadalai podaalm, romba naal achu!!) " look at Megala,
think of her as your elder brother and help her in
everything, all will be ok" - Sezhiyan sheds some tears
Geetha feels bad that she can not lend her half sari
( intha family kke tear glands in excess, half sari
nanainiji ponaa innonnu vaanga ippo Sezhiyanale
mudiyaathu)

After a long time we see the old man(Rangarajan) -
sulking as usual - " yenge enathu Megala? naa tholaicha
yenathu vaarisu? (Aishwarya Rai paaduvaangalaa?) - Doctor
checking and telling him that all arrangements are made
for his US trip. Old man does not see the reason for living -
" why should i spend so much and live?" - doctor talks about
Devaraj and Megala. Old man wants the surgery to be post-
poned for 10 days " want to visit some temples here, what if
I do not come back from US? Megala vai pakka mudiyumo ennavo?...." Doctor agrees to postpone the trip by 10 days.
Some one calls Rangarajan and complains about some
quotation not reaching on time. Promises the caller that he
will do the needful and shouts at Devarajan and
the useless manager. He feels dizzy and the dr makes
him lie down. Doctor confronts Devarajan and asks him
to arrange for a temple trip. Doctor leaves and Devarajan
scolds the manager. Manager can not fathom why Deva
did not tell Ranga about searching for Megs!! Deva says
that he should get his hands on Megs first for the property.
Shoos the manager out for organizing the temple visit.
Manager "vittal pothum" look kuduthu vittu oda, Deva is
in deep thought.

Customers visit the unfinished site of Kalai - all look as
if the thanni lorry has just arrived, just short of plastic
kudams in their hands!!! - Megs and thatha asking for
"amaithi" which gets ignored by the irate gumbal
" enga panathukku enna vazhi??" - Megs tries to reason
out " nanga thane koopittom, listen to us, ok?" After a lot
of shouting (time pass?) all settle down. Manager makes
a formal intro of Megs - "kalai's first daughter who wants
to give a lecture now, can u lend her your ears, please?" -
All are egiri kuthuchifying " yerkanave ellam kuduthuttom,
ippo engaloda ears vera ya?? panam kudutha enga kashtam
theriyama enna lecture?" After a long dragggginngggg Megs
takes the podium " unga ellar perleyum neriya mariyadhai irukku, pesa than kooppitom" some one says " mariyadhai yarukku
venum? panam kidaicha porum" - Megs apologizes and tries
to blame vithi and sooznilai - ' vethanai ungalukukku, thali
kunivu engalukku, mannikka vendukiren..." All this vetti
pechu irritates the customers ( namakkum than semai
irritation, vala vala nnu Megs pesarathu thangalai
da samy!!) Nalla kaalam one woman decides to put us
out of our misery, calms down every one and clears the
coast for Megs. Megs again goes on her tirade " engalai
mathichi vantha thukku romba nandri"... athai fumes
" panam kettu vanthavangalai pesiye konniduviya??
marupadi namakku avamaanam than (I agree with athai
here, lecture is too long and not on track at all - digression
to the core!!) " appa got cheated, manasu odinji odi
poittar, but we will set right his misdemeanor, panam or
apartment athane unga demand?" The crowd shouts a
collective yes - Megs explains her nilamai being very
bad and agrees that she can not refund their money. All
are agitated. Megs says that she has a plan - some one
says that they need their money only and all set to go to
the court, if they do not get it - Megs exchanges looks
with thatha and the rest of her clan. Athai is furious,
Tilaga pulls out a white flag - Megs on her tirade again
( God this woman talks talks talks.... eppo mudippalo??)
" yes, all of u can go to the court, appa can give manjal
kadithasi, our maanam will go in the kappal but u wont
get yr money,got it?? no use for u,so let me give u a
solution (innum 8 pages than dialogue bakki irukku,
athu pesi mudinjathum odane solution than, game???)
At laaaaaasssst Megs lets out her plan" half the buildings
are over, supplier has promised to supply materials for
us until we finish the buildings, u can check with him" -
supplier nods consent, Megs orders him to her seat
" all of u have paid two thirds,the last payment is still
due but u do not have to pay now, (kettu than paaren, othai than kidaikkum!!) I will finish one part of the construction first,
hand it over to u, then u pay me the last installment, with
that money I will build the rest, unga ellarukkum apartment
kidaikkum, ok??" One guy speaks up " romba easy aa
mudiyara mathiri solre, appo yen your father absconded?"
Megs is speechless for once!!!
( Thank God for small mercies!!!)

Episode 134 - Tuesday

Recap of yesterday - Fortunately ALL of her speech
is not repeated. Starts with " If all this is so
easy, why did your father abscond?" - Auditor chips
in saying that the apartment issue alone was not
the problem. Some one cheated him by selling the
Government land for a resort project and that was
a big loss. Thats the reason he ran away. The irate
crowd gets pacified but for 3 men - brothers who
wanted to live together and invested in these
apartments. They want their money back and walk
out. Sezhiyan egirufies and is led away by mesthry.
Megs draws her breath in a few times and shows
a shocked expression. Auditor pacifies and the
rest of the crowd echo their support. All leave,
athai just looks at Megs and leaves
with out a word.

Some "anne" has come to see Tamarai and her baby.
He praises that the baby looks with "mookku and muzhi"
like Tamarai. Tamarai boasts that all in the hospital said
the same - "Konjam segappa iruntha, na Aishwarya
Rai mathiriye irukkenu(???!!!) sonnanga. Athe mookku,
athe vai(apdi podu!!), athe kannu...." Offers him buttermilk
and orders JSE to bring the same. JSE is sitting and doing
her usual chore - supplying water for the house hold and MIL
walks in. Mil consoles her saying that she should not bother
about Tamarai's banter. JSE makes a nasal request to visit
mommy and MIL assures to help soon. Busy with breathing,
JSE forgets the buttermilk part - Tamarai is all set for the next
session of "lage lage"!!! She shouts at JSE and of course JSE
does both her eye jobs - cry and send them out of their sockets -
MIL goes to Tamarai and shouts at her for such atrocious behaviour.....

Well, folks, i have to stop the updating here because the
buffering was real bad and the video just refused to play!!!
will check some time in the afternoon and fill
in the missing part - If any of u were lucky enough to
beat the buffering and watched the rest, please feel free
to finish the update.

RP you've just given me a golden chance, so lemme grab it.
If someone rewinds, they'd see my prediction of Shakti becoming pregnant. I said if Shakti gets preggers, her chances of participating in the Kalai fly. bailout goes down the drain.
Shakti comes down the stairs in this fantastic georgette saree that has blue and white and matching accesories. She comes down with a blue folder. Diwa comes down with her. The missing certs.? Gujju behn walks to the edge of the stairs and S & D othhify the lamp. She says thank you many times and m-i-l utters her first sensible remark: no need for saying thank you so many times. F-i-l advcies that if you don't know the answer to the questions, don't bluff. Suddenly Shakti heads to the sink and throws up. Gujju behn has a sign of elation on her face. They face the men, and she says it's only good news. The men are pleading to know what, and Gujju mami says "she's preggers! Diwa's going to be a dad, and we grandparents."
Shakti is all blushes.
No need for litmus tests, no need to visit gynecs and confirm, nothing. The announcement is made.
Of course, except for god there is no one who can control these events, but enna ma shakti ippdi pannite. Your in-laws are already concerned about your going to work.

to fetch the "million dollar" butter milk!!
The nosy visitor is all curious and Tamarai
does not miss a chance to narrate the "Kalai saga".
Visitor is given the drink by MIL and she poses
a very pertinent Q -" vera velai illiya?? kathai
kettutu sitting?" Visitor leaves.

MIL continues to scold Tamarai - " why do u
discuss our family issues with outsiders?" - Tamarai
refuses to accept that "namma kudumbam" and
JSE does another nasal interruption - " what did
I do to u?? why do u break my nose always??"
( what else for??? she must be equally irritated
by that mookkal azhugaiand nasal dialogues!!)
Tamarai shoots a parting shot and goes out to
meet hubby in some sari shop. Does not forget to
order mom to take care of her baby - mom says that
she does not know what medicines and when et al -
Tamarai orders JSE to look after. MIL is scared to send
JSE out to see her mom and so asks her to wait until
Tamarai comes back. JSE is happy to go back to her room
and continue her crying!!!

Next scene is half baked nut coming down with
Diwa - MIL gives karpoora harathi and wishes good
luck - FIL doles out advise on how she should face
the interview, MIL puts kumkum on her forehead -
Nut vomits, the men exchange shocked looks, MIL is
all smiles. MIL plays doctor, asks a few Qs and
declares that they a new addition to the family coming
soon. All are happy. MIL says no bike, take a call
taxi and go.... but asks if it is absolutely necessary
that nut should attend the interview - answered in
affirmative - couple leave - MIL does not want
nut to work but scared to voice her opinion, FIL
says that it can be said "pakkuvamaa" later
