Episode No 388 Monday 15/12/08

Murugan comes to see maniac Anbu. Tells him that kalai is crying
for release. Gives him a CD which contains Kalai doing a shashtaanga
namaskaaram to whoever cares to look!!! Anbu watches that with glee
written all over his face (this guy must be a maniac in real life as well -
brings out that madness in his eyes - Roja appreciates - she knows
that mad gleam after all!!) Anbu leaves work - marks the CD and leaves
it in the bag.

Samy comes in to clean Anbu's table. Sees the lone CD - chides Anbu
for his shabby table and moves the CD with all other ones. Pats himself
for being so meticulous. Kavitha meets another friend for money. She
says that she is never given any money by her parents. Promises to
ask around. A sad Kavi leaves. The friend, Selvi promptly calls kavi's
mom. Tells her that Kavi has no money - "en kitte kadan kekkara
alavukku vanthutta. She is your only daughter. if u do not give her what
is the point in amassing wealth? Cant u forgive her and help? People
talk that so and so's daughter is asking around for loans - your name
is at stake.... sollitten , apram unga ishtam" Kavi's mom catches the
point ala Kamal of MMKR - gets the address of kavi and decides to pay
a visit.

Shyam takes Suhasini to the college in the car. His friends are ready with a
car and abduct her. Shyam acts as if he is resisting. After they take the
girl away, he throws her books and bag, puts on his driver's cap and drives
away. Megs is called in by Anbu/ He wants her to prepare a report for some
client. Gives her his personal laptop as the office computers are down. Gives
her a CD - THAT CD - Megs boots the laptop and inserts the CD........

Episode 389 Tuesday 16/12/08

Megs tries to boot the comp. Another girl comes and
asks for some file to be looked into. Megs obliges and
after the girl leaves, tries to get to work. The CD does not
open. She lovingly cleans the CD with her sari (???!!!) and
reloads it. Anbu is talking to some one on the phone and
accidentally opens his table drawer. The CD is missing and
he frets. Goes around looking for it but can not find it.
Suddenly realizes that it could be with Megs. Runs to her
table, knows that the CD is not viewed as yet, snatches it and
goes in. Megs shrugs. Anbu puts 2 and 2 together and arrives
at the culprit who displaced the CD. Calls Samy inside and
gives him a dressing down. Samy suspects that it could be
a blue film. Vows to steal a glance - "Anbu yen kitte yaa kaduppu
adikkare? iru da iru.... "

Kavi's mom comes to see darling daughter. Muzhi is sitting in the
drawing room but Kavi's mom has no eyes for him. Shouts out
for her daughter who comes wading in to the room. Paunu goes
on and on - does not forget to dole out some choice comments
about Muzhi - " intha urupadaatha verum payalai nambi, u ran
away from us. Ippo ellar kitteyum kadan kekkare. Ivanaale enna
panna mudiyum? wife kekkarathu ellam epdiyaavathu???!!! vaangi
tharavan thaan purushan. Ivanukku antha yogyathai ellam yethu?"
Kavi does futile attempt to stop mommy. Muzhi just stands aside
listening to the " convocation address" Athai watches - ready to
pounce I guess!!! yes she does - when Paunu asks " unnai OOr
poora kadan vaangi kuduthaa ukkarnthu thingaraanga - ithellam
oru pozhaippa??" Athai shouts back but Paunu silences athai -
" nee pesathey. unnai nambi veedu eduthu kuduthu ponnai paarthukka
sonna ...nee ipdiyaa pannuve?" Well , Paunu shouts some more and
Muzhi gets rosham - shouts at her and tells her that he has slippers
to deal with her. Kavi manages to send mommy away - Muzhi fumes,
athai pats him ( hmmm rosham vera yaa??? Muzhi , mamiyaar nalla
sahasranama archanai kuduthaa -
athaiyin vaarthaigal,
athanaiyum muthukkal - BG by Roja)

Danda household - Danda enters a dark house - Viji and parents are
all set to celebrate Danda's B'day - balloons, cake...works folks -
Santhanam veppilai adichufies, Viji coo coos .... Danda is elated -
thinks himself to be some Kamrajar or Rajaji - cuts cake after Tams
praises daddy for begetting a daughter like her. Angu and Loosu enter -
Angu rightly names Danda - "vithai kaattara korangu " - he looks like one
with that cap on his head. Viji and moron give a gift. Tams also gives a
gift. Santhanam and his wife bring a big gift - Danda is overjoyed. Every
one speculates about the gift = Pechi unwraps - Nandhu says "ithu enna?
dabbakulle dabba dabba vaa varathu?" Tams asks "apdi enna thaan irukku?"
Angu answers - 'enna perisaa irukkum? pinji pona seruppu and vilakkumaaru
thaan" Danda looks like an offended monkey....

Episode No 390 Wednesday 17/12/08

Well well as the monkey looks, the gift is unnnwwwrrraaapppeeeddd
Bingo, there is framed picture of 2 donkeys -
"Ennai paar Yogam varum" - ( Roja looks around - zoo le irukkOmaa???
Dhobi's house???) Santhanam explains - "sambhandhi, ungalukku
romba kannu dhrishti irukku. So, hang it in your bed room and see this
every morning. You will be lucky and this is your "nazar bonchuk" ok????
(Turkish people paarthaa kolai thaan!!)The picture is passed around -
all faces look like monkeys or donkeys - choice is yours folks!!! Angu
comes near Danda - puts vibhuthi on his forehead and blesses herself
-"naan dheerga sumangaliyaa irukkanum" Loosu wishes many happy
returns and hands him the prasadam. Danda has tears as usual -
Roja is so used to the Mudhal Mariyadhai BG - she hums.

Shyam comes back to his work place. The industrialist asks about
his daughter and Shyam says that she got down at a friend's place.
Father calls daughter on her mobile. The girl is warned - "normal
aa pesu, illai seeviduven" - she answers her phone and says that she
is in her friend Ramya's house. "Ramya will drop me appa"
Appa chides her for such carelessness and asks her to come back
safe. Father leaves, Shyam has satisfied smile.

Paunu calls Tilaga and shouts for Muzhi' behavour. Tilaga
disowns her son - " you and me are in the same boat. He
shouted at me as well. naa avanai thalai muzhigiyaachu"
Sundaram snatches the phone and informs Tilaga that he
is all set to kill Muzhi. The rest of the family frets. Megs, who
is getting ready to go to work, decides to carry the olive branch.
(Office kku late aa ponaa thaan enna?? Maniac jollu vittuttu
he he nnu sirikkum!!)

Paunu and Sundaram - Muzhi's house - sick fighting scene
Dove of peace arrives - does a kathakali with her eyes and hands
alone - (antha hand movements ai konjam kathukka koodathaa??
sagikkalai!! eye sore) Teaches Sundaram the philosophy of life.
" heis your SIL and u can not change it. When u hit him, he could
have hit back but he did not as he respects u as his FIL. Do not
do any thing that u will regret later" Some how Kavi's parents
are sent out. Megs turns her attention to darling bro -" ippo panam
thaan un prachanai. En kitte kekka koodathaa??" Muzhi grabs
the opportunity and asks for money ( Roja did not catch the
figure - the fight was so noisy and she needed some respite badly)
Muzhi and Megs go in to pacify Kavi - athai has a troubled look
-"enna da ithu namakku vantha sothanai?? Iva thambi yai en
kitte irunthu pirichi kootti kittu poittaa??"

Episode No 391 Thursday 18/12/08

Samy is relaxing on the sofa and singing "yen soga kathaiyai
kelu" (Roja appreciates the sentiments -exactly how she feels
watching this crap!!) Anbu comes in and is told that the kitchen
is closed. But Anbu has plans of going out. he cautiously stashes
the CDs ( yes folks, seems like he has a library - Crying Kalai
series) Anbu goes out. Samy sets up his quarter bottle with
chips - inserts the CD and sees the namaskaara episode.
Samy has no clue and so decides to insert the other one - well
well, he sees Anbu with his head set and Murugan beating Kalai.
Samy is scared to death - frets and rambles "ayyayyo, naa oorukku
poidaren....." ( hmmm nee kooda ninaichaa Odidalaam, Naanga???)

Police station - Suhasini's disappearance is now known. The
inspector sends a few cops for errands - "nee college kku pO,
nee Suhasini kku vantha calls ellam check pannu". The industrialist
cries with a Telugu accent to the inspector. Well,
the smart inspector suspects the driver. A letter is retrieved
from the letter box which says that the industrialist needs to
keep off the lands of the poor - "illatta we will kill your daughter"
Now, what is the big deal if Megs is not involved. The inspector
asks about how the driver got the job. Industrialist says that his
daughter's friend recommended but he has no clue about
friend. Inspector decides to somehow trace the friend and thattufy
her muttikki mutti - " antha pOnnu kidaicha pothum, unga daughter
ai save pannidalaam ( pray how??? athu sari, Rojaaa vambu
panname update pannave maattiyaa??? eppO thaan thiruntha
poriyO nee??hmmmm) Industrialist cries some more Telugu
cry.

Tilaga cries - so, whats new?? Only this time she cries for Muzhi.
"maamanaar kitte adi vaangina ore SIL ivan thaan, vayiru eriyuthu,
kevalam" Kirtana flares unnecessarily (iru di mma iru, unakkum
irukku Aappu) Tilaga rightly observes " FIL kitte adi vaanginaan
nna yen valarppu sari illai nnu thaane artham??" (ayyo Tilaga,
athu thaan Roja eppOvume solraale , parenting lessons ippo
kooda eduthukka maattiya??) Kirtana jumps some more, Megs
has that olive branch and white flag - (permanent fixtures)
and paatti consoles Tilaga "FIL adichathu is because of Muzhi's
sins - petha vayathai noga adichaane athaan. Dont worry, he
will repent" Tilaga leaves the arena - to continue her lone RKO -
Kirtana asks Megs for Shyam's mobile no - "he promised to help
in my studies. naa phone pannina switched off nnu varathu, do
u have any other no??" Megs does not have any. Asks sis to call
Suhasini and find out. But Kirtana prefers to visit Suha -" ippo thaan
duty join panniyirukkaru, phone panninaa nalla irukkathu" ( ahaaaa,
nee yaa pOi net le maatikka poriyaa?? besh besh)

Samy is sitting on the staircase - shivering and bags packed. Anbu
comes and is told that Samy wants to go home. Samy pethufies
so much that Anbu suspects that some thing is not right. Well,
he just turns and sees the TV - sees Muru beating Kalai - maniacal
gleam.... Samyyy, kaimaa than nee...

Episode No 392 Friday 19/12/08

Continues with Samy blabbering - Maniac is all fired up.
Samy suddenly addresses maniac as "sir" - "Anbu sir,
ennai vittudungaa please.... na odi poidaren blah blah"
Anbu shakes himself first and then shuts up Samy -
yethanum pesina konnuduven" Samy hears this and
blabbers some more - finally Anbu tells Samy the reason -
wait wait - muted dialogue thaan - namkku theriya koodathey
athukkaga - ennamO pOngappa Roja kku veruppa irukku
enna oru unbelievable story??? After the story is told,
Samy agrees that Anbu is right in torturing Kalai - athu sari
neeyum engalOda sernthu kashta padanum nnu vithi hmmm.

Thali and its uses - Roja is all set to write an essay on this topic!!!
Megs talks about Muzhi's predicament - the ball park amount is
50,000 rs ( Roja , muzhi asked for this amount only, u have become
deaf or deaf and dumb???? hmmm paavam nee thaan enna seyve???
Aanandam , Megala ellam follow pannina ipdi thaan aagum hmmm)
The family sings some soga geetham ( so whats
new??? sogam thaan eppovume!!) and finally Tilaga goes to the
pooja room - does some prayer, ties a manjal kizhangu and removes
the thaali chain. Gives it to Megs "ithai vithu , help Muzhi"
The family is stunned "enna da avanai apdi thitti ttu ippo chain
tharaale nnu pakkariyaa?? enna seyya, namba maanam kooda
sernthu pOrathe" - Paatti frets a bit, Megs frets quite a bit. Paatti
offers her chain but Tilaga stands ground. Muzhi will get what he
heeds as usual uh huh. Kirtana leaves saying that she will first go
to Suhasini's place to meet Shyam and then go to college.

Danda and family - accounts are submitted by Pechi - mobile shop
accounts. Danda frets - Santhanam has managed to commission
adichufy in the B'day celeb expenses - The donkey photo cost him
30 rs whereas the wrapping cost him 7000 Rs. ( apdi pOdu, adikkara
commission ai ozhunga panna koodathaa?) Viji's face
refuses to allow a fly to dance ( ee aadalai ppa!!) Danda frets about the
expenses and Angu pours petrol in that fire "vaayai katti vayahtai
katti sertha panam, inge yaarO Kollai adikkaraanga..." Finally
Danda throws the towel - tells moron "enough is enough. Let
Your FIL take this shop and manage. I do not want to continue.
Ask him to give me the land - antha Sriperumpudhur land ai yen
per le ezhutha sollidu.." Topic closed... Viji's face again refuses
to allow any fly to dance....Loosu has a satisfied look ( kashtam
thaan - ipdi oru Loosu irukkumaa????)

Episode No 393 Monday 22/12/08

Continuation of Danda asking for the Sriperumbudhur land and Viji
Thiru thiiruthufying - Moron promises to do the needful and lovingly
Instructs wife ? " namba maanam thaan pogum, u better talk to your
Dad and finalise this deal, ok?" Viji sweats and agrees hesitantly. Angu
And Loosu are happy that Danda is waking up ?at last. Shyam and his
Friend are in a car. They are happy about completing their mission.
Shyam feels bad for Kirtana ? that she might be in trouble. He calls
Tilaga and finds out that Kirtana is on her way to Suhasini's house.
He wants to stop her somehow ?

Suhasini's house ? ekka chakka police force ? "muttikki mutti thattal,
Epdiyaanum kandu pidikkarOm " ? usual promises. Suha's friends
Are standing there and participating in the Telugu accented cry. The
Inspector wants them to find the girl ? "antha driver thaan kidnap
Panni yirukkaan. Please get us that girl, ok?? ( athu sari, engiyaavathu
Neengale kandu pidichida poringaa!!) The girls agree and leave.
Kirtana is on her way to Suha's place ? meets the other girls and
Gets the info. When the girls talk about the girl who recommended
The driver Kirtana sweats ? averts her glance. Theothers leave
Asking Kirtana to pay a visit to Suha's house ? "neeyum poi konjam
Telugu kathu kitti vaa, ok?" ? but Kirtana retreats. Just then Shyam
Calls her ? " ungalukku studies le help panrennu sonnene, mudiyalai,
I am off with a friend, do not go to Suha's place" Kirtana angrily
Retorts ? "ellam enakku theriyum" but the mobile looses charge and
Shyam is not able to talk any more.

Megs hands over the money ? as usual in the nadu theru ? conference hall

Unmarried Megs about love, kalyanam and life after that ? ellam Roja
Voda neram ? after a successful long marriage, she needs to listen to all

Need to be taught!!! ? Since the money gets in to his hands Muzhi does a

Kirtana Visits Megs at work ? ithu enna office aa illatta veeda??

Anyways Maniac sees her, learns that she is lover girl's

little sister and gets his machinery roll in entertaining -

" avanga bank poi irukkanga, ippo Varuvaanga, enna saapidaringa??"

Samy is asked to dance to Kirtana's tunes and he is just too happy

to do that ? with lot of jollu falling out!!! Finally Megs arrives and

Kirtana informs the misdemeanor by Shyam ? "ippo avanga veet

le Police pattalam?enna akka eyyarathu?" Megs pacifies Kirtana

and tries to call Neelima ? who is conveniently out of reach!!!!

Sisters are heart broken that a RKO can not be performed ?

so resort to kneading their hands.

QBS and COD visiting Durga and sadashivam. Durga has

prepared some food fit for the kings - uh huh ? and the family

praises her to the skies. COD is narrating a dream(??!!) ?

"namba ellarum Kodai le irukkOm, amma and QBS seem to be

pally pally = ." Both wife and mama read his mind ( I want my life

to be like this nnu solla kooda dairiyam illai ..!!) Both promise to

adjust and make him happy ( hmmmm nadakkatha kathai kku

update vere ya Rojaa??? ) COD looks happy.

Kirtana and Megs ? still at the office kneading hands. Maniac

senses trouble and rips it out of them. Tells them that it is a

serious issue and promises to help. Asks them to be seated

inside his cabin ? "do not leave this place. I will go and meet

my police officer friend and seek help. we will deal with this, ok??"

Leaves ? sisters do some more hand kneading?

Episode No 395 Wednesday 24/12/08

Roja did some rolling on the floor, cried and cajoled hubby to leave his

laptop at home. He was totally floored by the drama!!! after all

these years??!!! Roja has her own doubts - she might have to pay

back - how and when?? no clue but is happy that the present looks

all rosy and pink - she could watch Megala and update - Jagdu, Sue,

Eljay and other Megala (still patient) followers here we go!!!

Shyam with his captive Hasini - introduces his team as highly educated

professionals who fight for a cause. Shows Hasini a

video of the village which is affectd by her father's factory. Hasini

promises to do whatever they ask of her - she feels sorry for the

villagers. Shyam has a contented smile.

Viji with her dad - as usual discuss all important issues in nadu theru.

Tells her dad that Danda wants him to take over the mobile

shop and wants the land in return. Santhanam he he he s and says

that he has no land to his name. " unga maamanaar mathiri aalu

kitte thaan panam sernthu porathu. Enjoy panna theriyaatha loosu"

Viji points out that there is an impending danger to his vanity(!!!??)

but daddy is cool ( Roja can not help singing - daddy...daddy cool...daddy ...

daddy cool) Tells Viji the philodophy of "iru KOdugal" " I will visit your

FIL with moron's medical report - that will be a monumental shock

which will overshadow the land issue" Viji is thoughtful.

Maniac visits his police friend. He happens to be the one who is in charge

of Hasini's kidnnap. Tells maniac that she is back home and the complaint

has been withdrawn - " it was forgetting the industrialist to reform his factory.

He has agreed to do that and does not want to make this abduction an issue.

Your friend's sister is safe." Maniac is happy to hear this but decides to play

up a bit with Megs - " I can use this opportunity and bring Meg's family under

my wings for some time!!"

Danda and clan. Tams is trying to pacify her crying son - the baby

cries non - stop (ayyo di chellam, ippo azhuthu enna panrathu???

Tams mathiri oru thilla langadi giri giri kitte maatikkittiye??)Tams

calls out to daddy, mummy and Viji to help he pacify the baby but they

know that it is an impossible task - Tams baby vayai moodarathu enna

ordinary patta ( satharana patta kku thanglish)velai yaa??? - Danda vazhinjifies

to Angu ( antha mudhal mariyadhai song ai vittu dungappa...thaanggalai) and

throws a note on her lap. Loosu watches this from behind a door and giggles

( intha kanraaviyai paarkka mudiyalai - enna giggling??? Roja sings -

unnai paarthu intha ulagam sirikkirithu, un seyalai paarthu un nizhalum

verukkirathu...) Danda wants to meet Angu - alone at the backyard.

A reluctant Angu is goaded by loosu - "enna solraaru nnu therinji kittu vaanga" -

Angu goes to meet loverboy...

Episode No 396 Friday 26/12/08
Continuation of the lovers' meet at the backyard. Danda is all moved and

wants to be back with Angu -sings "kozhi oru koottile" song in his kara kara

voice which irritates Roja and Angu some more - says that by the time Loosu

delivers he wants the family to be all together. Angu has bo objections but has

a condition - " throw that gold digger Viji out of this house and then boommmm..

we are one" Danda tries to say that Viji is also their SIL and needs to live here but

Angu does not agree to condescend -"she goes out and then we unite" Leaves

Danda and comes to loosu - reports verbatim and says that the pregnancy drama

is paying good dividends - "things will soon become tickety boo" happily leaves

and loosu is all thoughtful and worried.

Maniac comes back to his office - Megs and Kirtana are sitting - one with her

hand on head and the other with her hand on cheek - Amma di Megs, office

nna velai seyyanum, unnoda personal problem pathi kudumbathoda ukkanthu

think panra edam illai athu!! Maniac comes, tells them that the issue is very

serious and Megs has to hide her family somewhere - takes an unilateral

decision that it has to be his house. Sends Samy to clean the house and

takes the sisters home to pick up the rest of the family.

All about maniac convincing Tilaga and clan to move out - incessant

discussions - back and forth arguments and finally they decide to

follow maniac's advice....
