Episode No 397 Monday 29/12/09
Muzhi does it again - oh yes, imagine Muzhi being responsible,

EVER!!!!! He goes to redeeem the necklace, meets

his friend Mohan on the way. Talks to him about love marriage and its problems.

Tells him that both Kavi and himself do not have jobs. Mohan promises to find him

a job with a company known to him. Muzhi is over joyed and leaves in a rush.

Well, the jewel is left on the tea kadai bench. Muzhi goes home and reports

to Kavi about his finding a job - well almost - Kavi is happy to hear that and

asks about the jewel. Muzhi uses his muzhi to the fullest..mumbles

about tea kadai....bench... and leaves to find the jewel. Kavi thinks that

he is yet to redeem..."paarthu bathiramaa kondu vaanga. enna ipdi

carelss aa irukke?? unnai nambi oru velai solla mudiyaathu pole iirukku??"

(awwww romba late aa puriji kitte Kavi...sariyaana tube light...Muzhi is

just a sapdukku dandam and bhoomikku baaram type) Nuzhi leaves

in a hurry...athai looks worried..

QBS and COD - in the terrace COD does his usual vendaikai talk and

convinces QBS to come back and live with his parents. Does one more

round about talk to mommy who is also ready for the koottu kudithanam.

Goes to his dad who is glad to get an opportunity to lecture. Tells COD

about Thani kudithanam and its advantages - " u need to enjoy all those

benefits. Your mom has agreed because QBS is pregnant. Issues may

arise again. Wait for a while, she will call u both with total acceptance,

right now scoot" COD looks unhappy, Durga is too stunned to react,

QBS looks relieved???

Muzhi goes to the tea shop and searches for the jewel - people around

are aghast at Muzhi's carelessness - " 8 poun nagai??? chinna kozhandai

kooda innum careful aa irukkume??" well, the nagai is missing.....muzhi

does family act - cries.

Danda's house - Baby Tams is till crying - Tams asks Viji to bring the medicine.

Viji brings it and sees daddy cool coming. Hides behind the door and gives him

the lay out of people of the house. Moron is inside the bath room washing his face.

father and daughter enact a drama - make sure to shout so that mornon hears

verbatim - daddy tells dauutghter that her health is fine but moron has a probelm -

"mappillai's sperm count is too low to sire a child.... his excessive drinking.....

but nothing that is permanenr... he needs to take medications for 3 months..." moron

hears the whole thing and comes out of the bath room...enraged....

Episode No 398 Tuesday 30/12/08

Starts with an enraged moron - he comes out of the bath room and demands

to see the medical report.....Santhanam does a drama about handing over....

Viji tries to stop moron laying his hands on the report but does not forget to

tell dad "appo..... Loosu is preggie??" - the point is driven home...... Tams and

Nandhu get to know the truth??!!! moron is not much worried about his lacuna......

well not as much as he is interested in confronting pregnant Loosu.....runs around

looking for her and Danda ..... Tams tells him that both have gone out.... "varattum,

apram kacheri yai vaichukkalaam..."

Maniac brings Tilaga and clan home. Bustles around the house

and entertains his would be (could be??) inlaws household. Samy has

gone out to get veggies..enters the house and sees the crowd...

all set to flee thinking that he entered the wrong house....Megs introduces

her clan...... Maniac has a photo of Megs on the fridge.

Samy does some dancing and lets maniac know this...maniac

removes the photo., takes samy aside and tells him that he has

brought the clan to impress - "police issue is solved but I wanted to

use the chance..." Samy is surprised to see the scheming..goes out

to buy cool drinks....maniac looks happy...

Muzhi comes home - looks all in - Kavi demands to see the redeemed

jewel, but muzhi lies - tells her that he did not pawn the

jewel by himself -" did it through a friend..... he is away...." kavi

tells him that her friend will come the next morning for the jewel -

"nalaikki karthaale nichiyamaa jewel kondu vanthudunga..." Muzhi cries

again... all alone.... (Tilagaaaaa........ unnoda upbringing epdi

irukku paarthiyaa?? carelesness nna ipdi yaa??)

Maniac's house - Tilaga and clan are settled in the drawing room.

Maniac is on the phone. General talk about maniac not having a

family - how he was brought up in ashram and how he thinks of all

those ashram mates as family....blah blah.....Maniac succeeds in

projecting himself as some one next to God.....he also tells the

clan that he has arranged to quench the Kirtana issue... "samaatha

namaa poga yerpaadu seythutten...athaaan phone le.." food is delivered

from 2 different sources - maniac has ordered the best dishes and spends

around a thousand rupees for dinner. Tilaga clan is feeling bad about

the expenditure but maniac says that they are his special guests.....

Tilaga says that she could have cooked..... Paatti says that she drinks

pasum paal in the morning...while maniac is worried about getting the

cow's milk for the next morning, the clan attacks the food.......

Episode No 399 31/12/08 Wednesday

Angu and Loosu enter the house - late at night - the Danda
clan minus Danda has assembled in the drawing room.
Santhanam is also there - like Roja he does not want to miss
the fire works!! - Angu is surprised to see the calm clan and
times it perfectly to warn Loosu about jogging in to the house -
"paarthu ,paarthu pathamaa nada, pillaithaachi ponnu..." This is
enough to ignite Tams - who is seething already and has been
waiting for an opening to make her opening statement -"pothum
niruthu mmma, inimel ivalai intha veettu varisai vayathile vaichirukka
nnu sonne, .....nadakkarathe vere...." Angu is not worried about this
and demands to know the reason for this august congregation - Danda
clan does not believe in any direct talk - even Nandhu looks shaken. Just
then Danda and Pechi enter. Tams appeals to appa, the supreme court
for immediate judgement. Danda wants to know the reason for all this
tamasha. Tams wants moron to spell out his lacuna but he is not game.
Santhanam becomes the spokesman and spills out the content of the
medical report. Loosu is shocked......

Danda is all quiet...moron flares....Santhanam dilly dallies...
finally Tams asks - " if our Boo can not sire kids, who is the
father of loosu's kid?? Pombalaiyaa iva?? thoo chee..." Loosu looks
shocked but Angu uses her stop signal judiciously - "pheww, ivvalavu
thaanaa?? My DIL is patharai maathu thangam. She is not preggie..
moron was drunk and went to lie in Loosu's room..we used the
opportunity and staged a drama.... she is not preggie.." The clan is
now boiling hot. Viji flares up "so, u both cheated all of us??? u
deserve to be punished. If i had done this, will u all keep quiet??"
Moron also flares " I do not like Loosu and I do not want her in this
house. Send her out NOW. She has come here only to torture me
and my darling Viji" Danda is extremely quiet. Tams and moron shout
at him for an immediate verdict.

Danda at last thiru vai malarnthu arul kiraar - "Loosu is not
preggie nnu enakku munnadiye theriyum" - the clan inclusive of
Angu is shocked to hear this. Flash back - after Angu and Danda
had a clandestine meeting at the back yard Loosu comes to know
the reason from Angu. She goes to Danda and tells him the truth -
"athai nalla ennathile thaan apdi senjaanga. She wanted me to be
a part of this family.....do not be angry with her..." Danda is upset that
his darling Angu chose to cheat even him.... Loosu apologizes to Angu
"sorry athai, neenga sonna apram I was feeling real bad - but I could
not keep this pretense any longer and make maama suffer....." The clan
is once again stunned. Moron is bent upon driving Loosu away -"police
kaari yai vara solli nammai enna paadu paduthinanga??? she has to
leave NOW" ( athu enge nagarum?? rosham maanam laam onnum
kidaiyathu athukku/ Get out nnu ethanai tharam solraan antha mornon?
unnai suthaama pidikkalai nnu vera solraan - in all caps - sariyaana loosu
thaan nee Tams ' chee thoo is justified!!) Danda says that no one can be
sent out int he night -"kalai le pesikkalaam, ellarum poi padunga.."
Santhanam tries to say some thing but Danda silences him .... All leave....
Loosu and Angu look lost?? relieved??
