Why Can't You See? A Meet TS

Hey Guys, New member here.🤗 My name is Pooh and nice to meet all the Meet Parivaar.😆This is based on the ITV drama 'Meet' but this is very much different from the serial. I wanted to write something about MH in love.🤪

Meet Ahlawat - MA

Meet Hoonda- MH

MH hears a commotion coming from her backyard in the middle of the night. Groaning, she gets out of bed and saunter over to the window to see her best friend muttering to himself and kicking the big tree that looms over her house. She rolls her eyes with a smile and make her way down the stairs and to her yard.

“UGH! God, why does she always have to be so irritating!” MA groans, attempting to hack down the big tree with his foot.

“Ahh, girlfriend troubles again, huh?” She tilts her head to watch him, the hood of her hoodie up over her half bed-head hair.

MA turns around and gives her his 1000 watt smile, making her heart flutter. “Hey, Meet. How’s my bestie doing?”

She chuckles. “It seems that I’m doing a lot better than you are right now. What’s happened this time?”

The scowl on MA‘s face returns as he recalls the incident. “ Your sister Manushi. She’s just always attached to that damn phone of hers. Doesn’t matter what we’re doing, her eyes are always glued to it. We were supposed to be having dinner with my parents tonight.”

MH raises a brow, “Did you not end up having dinner with your parents tonight?”

“Oh, we did. Except she kept getting phone calls and texts and answered them! She kept her ringer on all night, it was the most aggravating and rude thing!” He throws up his hands in frustration.

MH snorts. “Well, as much as that sucks, I’m sure you guys will be fine. You guys always sort things out either way.”

MA sighs and shakes his head. “Yeah, I know. Doesn’t make it any less aggravating.”

She laughs and pat him on the shoulder, taking a seat on one of the picnic benches. He sits next to her and glances over to her. “So, are you ready for tomorrow’s community talent competition?”

MH groan and lay her head back, staring at the night sky. “Don’t remind me. I really am not looking forward to doing this.”

It’s his turn to pat her on the shoulder. “Nah, don’t worry Meet! You got this! I know how much you love to sing and you’re so good at it! You’ll be fine.”

He smiles once again, making MH's beat increase. ‘God, that smile of his kills me every time.’ All she can do is stare at his lips that are now forming into words.

“Huh?” She look up at him, completely ignoring what he said. He chuckles and waves a hand in front of her face. “Earth to Meet. Did I really wake you up in the middle of sleep?” She clears her throat and move her eyes to meet his. ‘Bad idea, Meet. His eyes are just as beautiful. Then again, you can’t really look at him without thinking every part of him is insanely attractive.'

“Oh, uh, not really. I’m just spacing out, thinking about tomorrow.” He gets a thoughtful look on his face. “That reminds me, what song are you going to sing tomorrow? You never told me!” MH shakes her head and wink at him, “Nope you don’t get to find out till tomorrow. It’s a surprise."

MA protrudes his bottom lip in a pout. “Awe, that’s no fair. I don’t wanna wait.” Before anything else can be said, his phone beeps indicating he has a text. He opens it and sighs. “Well, I better get going. She’s wondering where I am now. Probably wants to talk or something.”

He jumps up onto his feet, pulling her along with him. He quickly hugs her tightly. “Thanks for always being there for me, Meet. I know I can always count on you! You really are my best friend.” He ruffles her hair before turning away and waving. “I’ll see you tomorrow at the show! I’ll be there to cheer you on!” MH wave back, watching him walk away.

Her mood shifts from fake happy to depressed all over again. Sighing, she runs a hand through her hair. ‘Man, what are you doing to me, Meet Ahlawat?'

I wasn't active over there Nikki...this is the only forum that really inspired me too get a bit more vocal lol...I might have read a post or two of yours (maybe) but it was a big family over there so...

I was a huge fan of RaghVi lol...then the Mandar track came around and I started losing interest...was disappointed to learn that things only went downhill from there

same here ... I left post Mandar track ended.. somehow I endured Mandar track with ranting on the EDT... but then I realized I shouldn’t be doing that so left ...
