Paulo Coelho I have tried long back but found too heavy for myself back then😛 it was not the alchemist. Another book. I cant remember the name right now. Richard Bach I like.

The rest I just pick up mystery and detective novels. Reading some books by Sophie Hannah nowadays.

Dan Brown, Sydney Sheldon, Danielle Steele I have read here and there a few.

Classics I have read long back... not read any off late.

Talking about tragedies.... have you read The Mill on the Floss?

Edit: I now remember the name of the book. The Pilgrimage.

Cool … new suggestions… will give them a try too …🤗

If you like thrillers you might be reading Jeffrey Archer too?

I like easy going books....

So cozy mysteries and comedies...

Then others I read randomly.

Then I like to read Buddhist books on mindfulness.

yes I read Jeferrey Archer .. I am a voracious reader .. I don’t stick to genre .. I just avoid chicklits and romance because sometimes they give graphic details of their physical relationship which becomes uncomfortable for me.. but I have enjoyed a few of them too …

Infact On a whim I read Fifty Shades trilogy in one go … I probably don’t remember now most of it .. (only anomaly) … but I did … 😛

I already gathered that you are a voracious reader 😆.... I just need a book to unwind everyday.

I stuck to my genre for the longest time. Classics I read but I was stuck with mysteries. Then my parents used to force me to read other genres which I tried. Thats the time I tried Paulo Coelho 😆 So you can imagine my state of mind when I was reading it 😆. But then slowly I expanded and included other books and genres, but I dont pick up and romance, horror or scifi.

Now at least I am more open and pick up books randomly to read. Nothing in particular. If I like I continue else I drop it and pick up another book.

I mostly complete books too... but I dont finish in one sitting. If I like the author then I borrow more books by that author. I read a bit at the library and dropping the idea to read that book happens there itself 😛

The grand Budapest hotel, her, in the mood for love, Rashomon, Psycho, taxi driver, shawshank redemption, rebecca, the silence of the lambs, la la land, the godfather 1, before trilogy, the shining, parasite... Other than these I love Nolan & Fincher movies, will probably watch all of them... The Lunchbox, Kahaani, Wake Up Sid, highway, andhadhun, lootera in bollywood.

Recently watched Incendies, Perfect blue, joker & the 3 Spider-Man movies, knives out.

I avoid shows with 1 hr long episodes & it's been over a year since I picked up a book 🥲. But love Jane Austen's works... Read little women, notes from the underground, crime & punishment, animal farm, the count of Monte Cristo, the entire Sherlock Holmes series.

Out of the very few english series I've watched, liked the haunting of the hill house & the queen's gambit.

Currently watching death note & suspicious partner.

Made it too long, lol.
