Fixing a marriage alliance without knowing the name of the boy

I was quite confused with the part that Meet's family got surprised at hearing the name of Meet as the groom. I mean you are getting your daughter married to a guy - isn't the first thing that you will or check in bio data is the name. That is the first thing that is written on the document and that is how it starts. So how come Meet's family was so surprised that how did Meet come here??

It was indeed funny when Dadi refused to open the door thinking it is Meet H and then Meet A entered 🤣

sometimes I wonder what would be the thought process behind naming both the leads as Meet ? 🤔

My parents were not at all afraid and look me. My siblings are not either. Mein hi Eklauti hi darpok kahi ki.
