Others may find it a small thing, but it's definitely big to cook with eggs for a Jain. I can't explain all because no one will be ready to understand the Jain viewpoint.

Tagging PM and CM of TN was too much. The episode in which she is appreciated I leave that episode, cause I know that she will be safe, then what's the point of watching the show. Every person makes a mistake, but Aruna doesn't makes any?

But she is looking her validation, that what she did was right. Being a Jain, I totally understand her, but others will never understand because there is a difference in lifestyle, difference in food eating habits

Yesterday a Jain saint (he has got a Padmabhushan) appreciated her values of Jainism in front lacs of people. I was present there. I sent her that video, all can see her story

I don’t think anybody has a problem with her having used the immunity pin. She had every right to.

She doesn’t want to cook with eggs and meat, no problem. But todays she had the immunity pin, tomorrow she may not. And usually in Masterchef there will be challenges that involve cooking meat.

I think the discussion was that she signed up for the show knowing that she may have to cook meat. So why the tears and unnecessary drama? And tagging people on SM? If that is not a ploy to gain sympathy or attention, how else would you describe it?

Also in regard to her being praised, I don’t think anyone denies she makes some excellent dishes, but so do many others, but nobody’s dishes are praised that much. It’s like she can do wrong. It went a little overboard when she used the carrots. She made a carrot marble cake and gajar ka halwa - both common. But they made it sound like it was the best invention since sliced bread!

Anyway, this is a topic that can go on forever. I just hope the bias is no more so obvious (actually hope for no bias) because otherwise the show will just lose its viewership.

Challani is her parents family, her in laws are Lodha.

Her paternal family owns Jewellery stores and her husbands family own business in the UK and an automobile business in Chennai.

Also from her FB, her connections are evidently Nirmala Sitharaman has been to their house. There are some other local celebrities that I don’t know of.

Oh man!! I wish I hadn’t found this out. I’m now convinced of the stuff I’ve read on twitter - that her husband has paid for her to win. There’s no proof, but no surprises either.

Her being rich or connected isn't a reason enough to assume she paid to win..hope those accusers r able to prove it

I know it isn’t, but with the way things are going, it is believable.

I do hope I’m wrong

If there's p-litical influence in her stay at the masterchef kitchen, I don't think the judges can do much about it. They are the only people we see on-screen but they are not powerful enough to pull all the strings in the production.

But, it's the shittiest move I can think a person in the public eye to pull

If this show is just a bragging matter for her and her family, she's alienating the larger public

Hello friends

Don’t go into her family background

Why rich people should not cook or what

It’s the passion and anyone can maintain it

Coming to her cooking

She talks less because of her exposure she can manage things

As we don’t taste just by the words of judges she is really cooks well.

Take this week Priyanka’s dishes, her chicken was fabulous yesterday and it was declared dish of the day and even today her dish was too good and also it is declared the dish of the day. Ofcouse she talks a lot

So don’t become crazy of Aruna’s background and come to conclusions instead see how she cooked

I wouldn't pay much attention to it if it weren't for the annoying PR wars and self-victimisation anctics on sm. She knows what she's doing off-screen which is off putting.

I think it was unfair how Vineet got eliminated and even he hasn't been as annoying off screen as Aruna has been for that damn immunity pin.

Istg, even Ranveer and Vikas, who are legitimate celebrities and losing their good name over this show, don't have such aggresive PR.

And yes, self-victimising rich people shouldn't be in hospitality. It is an exploitative and abusive business; if you cannot acknowledge your privilege, you should shod off.
