See If she didn't have tagged PM of India and CM of TN for a mere reality show and moved on from that egg challenge saga people would have forgotten about her being rich or being influential. She herself is to be blamed for this negative publicity as she is milking this issue by reposting stories and releasing new articles everyday.

P.S I don't believe those conspiracy theories and I believe she is genuinely a good cook

Okay but here's the thing though, I do think she's good cook. I don't think she's extraordinary or showing much growth. I also think that her immunity pin was well deserved too. What is nasty is her bringing religiob and politics into the egg matter especially pretending like she was an oppressed victim in the situation. Okay, you don't want to cook x ingredient, you have a safety blanket of the immunity pin, you don't even risk your position in the competition. What was the point of the self-victimistion as well as self-glorification as if she'd joined the army and fought for India and sacrificed a limb?

Priya, on the other hand, stuck to her vegan principles despite not having an immunity pin when she had a real risk of losing her spot in the contest. She did, in fact, go home on a vegan dish unlike Aruna. Priya is also probably not as rich as Aruna so the financial loss to her from getting eliminated is much higher than it would have been for Aruna. And yet, we don't see Priya harping her own bugle and milking the situation like Aruna.

I personally respect Priya more than Aruna because she stuck to her principles in the face of real risk unlike Aruna who'd cooked with egg in the Italian challenge, had the safety of the immunity pin, doesn't have the risk of a losing a huge financial opportunity yet managed to victimise herself and still continues to do so.

It was a team challenge..I doubt if she actually handled eggs..will see again.

Anyways..till when is she gonna avoid that God knows.

She was piping the meringue or something. I think that'd count as handling eggs. She can avoid it forever for all that matters. It is the unwarranted self-victimisation that makes her massively unlikeable.

Exactly! Her self victimization and holier than thou attitude has made her unlikeable.

Besides, as far as I’m aware Jains aren’t even supposed to eat potatoes, onion, ginger and garlic. But she happily cooks with those ingredients. So why the hue and cry about the egg, which she didn’t even have to use since she had the immunity pin?

I wouldn't know how good Aruna's food really tastes. But I can say that the items she cooks like rasam, thogaiyal, morkali etc. are very very basic simple day to day food in a Tamil family. I am a Tamil vegetarian so I know. Any Tamilian can cook them to perfection. You don't need a world class level cooking skills for this. Thus blind and over appreciation for Aruna is quite irritating. Seems like the production has some ulterior motive. Is it the favours she can do to the judges since she hails from an affluent family? She herself confessed in this in national television.

Today they even swapped her fish for paneer (I read on twitter)
