I had Jain neighbors growing up and they never ate the above mentioned. Our families would exchange food but only when we made no onion no garlic. Their kids ate onion sometimes but for most part no.

That's how I was introduced to kaccha kela pattices (yum!), vada, and cake with thumps up/coca cola because back then all the milk+vinegar baking was not popular. If you want to gather sympathy in name of religion only then you scream about your ethics and principles from roof top. In this case Aruna doesn't even abide by most of it but I have seen people defend her left, right, and center on SM, haha

Wish Priyanka at least got to meet her family

I immensely enjoyed the look on Aruna's face after constructive criticism. It reaffirms why I don't like her. While other contestants for most part take judge's comments seriously her face yesterday was just a sight.

Special love for Kunal Kapoor. Loved how he helped Nayan with fillet. Also man doesn't mince his words. I guess he is not a payroll so said what he had to. His comments for Aruna made my day.

Felt bad for Survarna. Her plate was a mess but for a Maharashtrian to have 80% fish uncooked was just too sad.

I wanted to dig into Santa's plate. Finally she got the appreciation she wanted.

Sachin's hard kulfi with egg 😳 What was that man thinking. He could have added milk maid or something.

Did anyone notice how much Chef Ranveer helped KDK? Looks like Mother India is his new fav. On a side note I want to try making spun sugar at home!

Sony made some changes to Indian Idol this season after last year’s gaalis so thoda sa optimism hai mujh mein 😆

Nayan is so talented! His insta is a sight for the eyes.

I feel Santa's range is limited and all those workshops haven't helped her.

At one point I thought Priyanka had promise but she seems to be going nowhere.

Sony is known for messing each show up. I'm surprised Star Plus let MC go so easily. Star Plus may be an ass when it comes to their shows, but at least they treat their shows properly and don't interfere unnecessarily.

Sony sticks their leg in even when it isn't required. We are seeing that here. At such great lengths too!

Channels only care about their numbers.

No way Star is better, MCI on Star Plus was more swayamwar and less cooking show in the last few seasons 😆
