I think this show and even forum goes gaga over plating but it's the taste at the end of the day that should be paramount.

Aruna's plate looked minimalistic, I loved her plate but to put miniscule pieces of two overpriced desserts and a dollop of madra is an insult to temple food cusine which is— be it langars at Gurudwaras, Nirbalya at Puri/other ancient temples, or mass services at churches or jumma services at Dargahs— about abundance, generosity and community.

If she was going with temple prasads, she should have made a thali like Santa, or at the very least paired the madra with some meetha bhaat.

Anyhow, trying to justify temple foods— a tradition of nearly thousand years— in one stingy plate was bound to fail.

I don't understand the deal with her. The show is clearly just for clout to her. She cannot even take constructive criticisms. Most probably, she would do a few cooking shows and then contest in the election from somewhere in the north. Or maybe open a restaurant that she'd not cook a dish in lol.

the endorsement is getting out of hand everytime the judge promote amul and bosch, i physically cringe. and the contestants finding the time to promote while cooking and especially priyanka, who cant handle stress, has to plug in one amul dairy product make me laugh.

Watched the organic farm episode today..Pink team's platter looked too good..fresh colors.

Taste wise there were few misses..though Nayan showed a lot of maturity. He knew his weakness w.r.t captaincy and looked for cooperation n inputs.

The one who looked lost in the team was Gurkirat.

Yellow team's plating was dull to say the least.

KDK knew she isn't captain material and her team also seemed unhappy with her. Also Suvarna was justified in telling her if her sleeve was dipping in oil..it was for her safety n anyone would react so in panic. KDK should've taken it positively.

IMO Shanta should've done the plating

For this she’ll quote well we have been staying in Tamil Nadu for a long time, so we kind of got carried 😂 just kidding. I did read earlier in the forum about some people eating all these but become strict Jains during a certain period of time. I remember the name of the period but not the spelling. She is just an opportunist. She made the huge cry for eggs only to bring more eyeballs to her twitter account which was almost dormant

Happens all the time. We could see the contestants using amul products still why the promotion every 2 minutes? I think the contestants are given some time to scream ‘aaj ki is dish mein amul bla bla bla product use kar rahi hoon/ raha hoon’. Then it is cut it and pasted into the show ka footage we see. The contestants say it with perfection all the time. No one fumbles or seem to be in a hurry!

Most of the Jains avoid these foods only during Paryushan..some avoid it during the 4 months of monsoon..elders or very strict followers avoid onion garlic always. The Jains I know eat potato, onion, garlic, root vegetables, green veggies everything..

Nonveg including eggs r a strict No.
