Writers, writers, writers,

Where do I even begin today huh? I am slowly but surely losing interest in the story you are weaving! Let's take today's installment...
  • I know I have been crying hoarse asking for something relevant in each episode for Vidya's character but come on ...this does not mean she has to regurgitate her love-lorn lonely self yet again for our benefit! How many times has she done this already...enough to make me want to shoot myself...no shoot my laptop screen! I feel ZERO sympathy for her now...zilch...nada...shunya! 😳
  • Devyani is now beyond unbearable to watch for me...so less said the better. 😳
  • Uttara and her never ending palpitation filled chest-heaving reactions are more tiresome than Imli's backless cholis! 😳
  • Priya's zombie reactions in today's episode...yawn inducing! 😳
Well done...a story about four women is now officially about their unraveling!

Ciao!

so true jaya

that was the awakening and this is the unraveling. where there was purpose and a theme now there seems to be none. everything is happening in a vaccum.

originally - these four women sensitive, sensible, compassionate and guardians of their home and hearth - heartening to watch them juggle all those balls in the air and trying their darndest not to drop any

doing their best to deal with a gangarine that keeps spreading in every nook and cranny of their lives but unable to raise the alarm for fear of rocking the ground beneath the feet of their loved ones.

that is what I loved about the show. Did devyani slip? yes many times. did priya slip? yes many times but they tried their best considering their resources, their realities and their fears

those women awakened and united by one common virus mutating in each of their lives in a different capacity. that was then

now they are awakened but keeping themselves in limbo

united but purposelessly

griped by skeletons long revealed and buried rather than embracing the winds of change and tomorrow

somewhere somehow the plot sidestepped the CVs. I hold out hope as this show was rare to begin with and should not be dismissed so easily but at this rate hope holds thin

Jaya... Its sad to see Priyas plight.. Poor thing got almost raped twice and she is at the same place where she was after the first incident.. It is beyond me how she can breath and sleep in JM with BJ too being there...BJ can be dimential, disabled or in coma but as long as he is breathing, Priya should not have to be in the same room/house as him.

they are listening to the voices on this forum, this much can be seen in subtle markers in the show

i have always wondered if we should suggest tracks

typically I am against this as it impacts their own creativity which was never broken to begin with but after weeks of week porridge I feel like we need to restart there engine with our own creative fluids

there is so much potential in Adi- priya's marriage and career

vidya's future

uttara needs to go on a sabbatical and come back at class reunion time

we need a more fierce, dirty and bare all trial in a public arena with devyani and adi having some major soul to soul even a little bit of accusation from adi to dev about her facade that has ruined his mental and emotional state, her decision to ask priya to muzzle the truth from him

dev should not go scot free for enabling brahma

she is being treated like the holy grail. wrong move. she needs to show a little humility and fear of losing Adi as her child. enough of this crap fearing him as brahmA

she was protecting them yes but she manipulated them horribly along the way

some male bauji or gaurav needs to come back

this female dominated equation is not healthy

sj needs to move away for a while. he is like the household pet. there but unappreciated. thrown whistles for danger but not overtly valued for tenure and support

Hope...they have...and still do! I am of a similar mindset as you...I want to see what the writer's vision is and provide feedback on that! But...everything you pointed out has potential. Some others:

1. RD vs. Brahma: This was built up for months as the battle to beat all battles...yet it went out without a whimper with Gaurav & Karan's trip to pardes!

2. Priya's case and her education/work. I do agree with Ravina that she should not accept being under the same roof with BJ anymore.

3. Vidya...I do not care what they do but this character needs a purpose. If her's lies in finding a boy-toy of her own, so be it...if it means working and being independent...so be it. She need's something...anything!

4. Devyani...like I said it my thread last week, one of her children needs to point out to her that she is behaving like a victim...not a pati vrata nari and end her manipulation of them.

5. Uttara...I have not seen her really thinking about her situation...does she really want to keep the child or not? She seems to be just rolling along with the pregnancy.

Jaya

much as I agree with Ravina that a person twice sexually preyed on by a close relative cannot habit under the same roof and should not be required to, knowing priya's character I feel that her past experiences are not as powerful a deterrent. her need to be involved in devyani's cauldron of horrors is more powerful than her experiences with brahma

when priya first came after marriage she was afraid and traumatized but now she does not seem that way. she seems disgusted and angry. she is not in the same state of mind and she may not want to move away. she definitely wants him gone. I agree. he should be gone from the house not the show.\

yes, what the hell happened to RD? ground swalled her up?

priya's dad vanished. all that media publicity. not a call.

vidya. needs to find someone. she is a village belle not like priya and devyani. she needs to be happy at the grassroots level not the podium. I think its long overdue. women should not be doomed for sins of others. she needs someone like chinu who will empower her and treat her like a person rather than a clinging vine which is what all the well meaning people around her seem to do

uttara has always been this way. she has always needed someone's approval and patronage.

she is a star struck sort of person. first she was in awe of dev as the perfect homemaker and older sis and then she was in awe of jeejajee as a man of immense power and influence and societal stature.

she will not change. now she is trying to expose brahma to regain lost brownie points with adi and dev. don't you think the woman doth protest too much?

devyani - somebody some male who she trusts realy needs to pull her up by her boot stroings. she has been doing unofficial sarkar raj too long. making life altering decisions for people and then emotionally blackmailing everyone to do her bidding.

CVs ... I agree with all the above posts. The show is dragging and is getting unbearable to watch now. We had such expectations, we were not too sure what to feel about the extension, happy or sad, there were mixed feelings. At this moment i'm thinking it would have been better if it had ended.
But there is still hope that it will go back to being the wonderful show we all grew to love and found it to be unique from other shows.

The show still has so much potential without this madness storyline. All we see is Devyani, praising her husband, how much he did for them etc. Uttara hellbent on proving Brahma as the culprit.

CVs please stop this nonsense now.

honestly Fizi, the woman is cuckoo

I wanted to laugh when she said she was doing it based on the sanskaars she was brought up with to her SISTER, like wth so was uttara brough up in the padosi's house?

why tell uttara where she is coming from? as her sister does not uttara know better?

that sounded so whacko. it's like the CVs forget who the characters are addressing with their dialogues and how misdirected or ridiculous some of the dialogues are

Vidya needs a man in her life and all that comes with it,marriage, children the full shabang. But first she needs to lose the sindoor, file for a divorce, in her case she can get an annulment.
