Devyani slaps Uttara

After Brahmanand's decision to give Devyani her sindoor back, she was in a good space but his recent revelation while giving her water post the Karva Chauth fast that he will divorce her has stunned Devyani. STAR Plus' showMaryada Lekin Kab Tak will see a confrontation between sisters Devyani and Uttara over Brahma with the former slapping the latter.

A STAR Plus.in source divulges, "Devyani was shocked at Brahma's announcement that he will divorce her. Uttara will confront Devyani saying she should accept her fate now but an enraged Devyani will instead slap her. Priya too will be shocked to hear about the divorce while the other family members will remain clueless."

An upset Devyani aka Indrani Halder says, "I am more shocked than hurt. I never thought he would got to this level. I realise now that giving the sindoor back and pretending to be nice to me was a game to him. I could have divorced him but I don't want the family to disintegrate."

Uttara aka Kamya Punjabi exclaims, "This is as shocking to me as it must be to didi. I never dreamt he would do it in this manner. There was no need for such drama. I know he plans to marry me and he could have led with a softer manner. I am sure she is shocked as am I. But this is the reality and the sooner she accepts it the better it is for all of us."

Brahma is thrilled with the developments, "Devyani deserved a blow like this after all she had done to me. She humiliated me and dared to speak up to me. I had to teach her a lesson. I am glad I got back at Devyani and hurt her. I know her well and soon she will come begging for me not to divorce her, I know."
