Ridhi-Raquesh's D-day

Ridhi Dogra and Raquesh Vashisht are looking forward to tying the knot on Sunday, May 29. The real life couple who tied the knot in their television show STAR Plus' Maryada show, claim a real life marriage is nothing like the reel one.

Ridhi and Raquesh will get married tomorrow in Raquesh home town Pune. As Ridhi is Punjabi while Raquesh is a Maharastrian, the two decided along with their families approval to have the marriage ceremony and rituals according to the bride's customs i.e. Dogri style.

The lovely couple bride-to-be is quite excited for her big day. "I am very excited and at the same feeling very nervous about tomorrow. It is like a dream come true and a dream wedding too. I want to thank God for giving me such lovely partner for life and caring in-laws. As the marriage rituals will happen in Dogri style, we decided to have it in Pune which in Raquesh's native place. Before the ceremony, we have many pre- marriage rituals and yesterday was the mehndi ceremony. It was great fun."

The smiling groom Raquest exclaims, "I can't believe that I am getting married. I feel it is surreal. All my relatives and friends have arrived at my place and we all are busy with pre-wedding rituals. My relatives have invited me and my family for lunch and dinner. In my Marathi community it is called Kelvan and the mehndi ceremony will follow. I am looking forward to rest of the rituals and just waiting for Sunday to come." Ridhi and Raquesh have taken a 10 day break from their shooting.

Ridhi and Raquesh's co-stars from Maryaada too are eager to attend and wish the married couple. Actor Vishwajeet Pradhan who plays Raquesh's character Aditya's dad Brahmanand says, "We all are invited for the marriage but I can't say for sure if we will be able to go as everything depends on our shooting schedule. We all wish a very happy married life to Ridhi and Raquesh. Hope they have a life full of success, love, health and wealth."

Indya.com wishes the couple a happy married life.
