I think it is moving along. I liked how they focused on the wedding and made it the high point BUT kept the multiple underlying stories moving also, such as Uttara's and Vidya's.
I loved the entire Uttara track, and loved, absolutely loved, how Devyani showed a sisterly side by coming to her sister's rescue.
I actually love Devyani's character. It's like a bittersweet treat to watch. She is shown as the practical 'woman of substance' who only breaks down in front of her father in law. She's strong, she's a mountain of strength for her children and her daughter in laws, but is a wounded woman in front of her husband.
And I think THAT story is moving along and unraveling slowly but surely.
I have been watching multiple shows lately, and this is the ONLY one where they've got multiple tracks that are interesting enough on their own, but tied together. Each one has so much potential and story just on it's own, and the inter-relation with the others makes it all the better.
Mostly, I love how it's moving along the same way it would in real life.
Have faith.
Just a side note to damon_biteme - and no offense, I'm just stating my opinion here - Bill Clinton wasn't living a life of duplicity. He cheated on his wife, but SHE KNEW he did that, always did. She chose to turn a blind eye.
I'm not saying he was right, or she was right. Just a difference of concept here. Brahma isn't aware his wife is aware. And no one else is aware of it, except maybe the father in law. Where as the story with Clinton - no one was aware of it except his wife, who chose to ignore it.
And above all else, in order to lead a duplicitous life, Clinton would have to be doing this regularly, like Brahma. We dont' know if those two times were the only times, or if he lead 'that kind of life'.
Again, not to start a fight here. Just stating my opinion with regards to the concept of duplicitous life. I think in Brahma's case, it's a life style he's leading which he's hiding from society and is portraying himself as quite teh opposite. In Clinton's case, he chose to indulge in this activity on a certain number of occasions, but I don't think that makes it his 'life style. You know what I mean?
