I actually loved today's episode. Good story telling, I felt. They paid attention to a lot of details which most shows fail to even show and attribute to cinematic liberty!
Anyway,
Priya-Mr. Pradhan Scene. Loved this today. Though yesterday I felt it didnt flow well from Priya's end, Mr. Pradhan (😆Papa) takes the cake.
Vasu, you are so right. He is so cute...like a santa claus. And that hug!! I want to hug my dad (Mind you I rarely hug my dad 😆).
Then
going for exam scene- I loved this scene to bits. I liked the fact that for once a show decided to show the proceedings in the family before the kid of the family goes for an exam. The blessings from everyone, without fail. The scene that caught my attention most was Devyani going "Make sure you have pens". Classic mother act, before the exam. Ok I know
Vasu doesnt like...Oooeeemmgeee. talk...😆, but damn, gaurav was looking very cute here. Can I please go....😍.
Yes, Imli dresses very poorly. I get the short skirt, but whats with those sleeves??😕
Vidya-Gaurav scene: Once again, very very well done. Vidya's smile is out of this world. The way she manages to portray the shy bride who wants her husbands attention...☺️. I like the actress who plays her role. Now we have to wait and watch how good a job she does when she finds out the truth about Gaurav.
Uttara-Rishab scene: Though it all looks peachy to an onlooker...they have set stage for another round of abuse. Like
Vasu said, I wonder how Uttara will react this time.
Mr. Pradhan leaving home: Very very well done. Something that most creatives would have missed out on. This is why I said it was good story telling. Nice attention to small details.
Aditya-Priya: Brought a smile to my face. Priya's hesitance...very very nicely shown. Though the romance is getting rushed, I like the fact that she is being shown to have trouble letting go of the past. 😊 I guess this is what the BOLD article referred to with Priya having trouble adjusting to the physical intimacies of a relationship.
Last scene - Yes, once again they bring the contrast between the good and the bad of Brahmanand's character. Even a viewer like me is at cross-roads of what actually prompts his negativity? Is it becuase of the job he is in? I dont like the sterotype of corrupt immoral policeman. I hope there is more of story here. Though at the moment, I cannot think of what it can be.😆
Overall: I loved today. They brought in all the characters...without rushing the 30min they have and showed me a very nice screenplay.
@Noorie: Hiya. yup we have met before I think 😆. Yah, Devyani probably goes to every end possible to try and keep things happy. I guess I missed out on the Babuji-Devyani dialogue you speak of, but if she wanted to keep her DIL happy, then why dont you think she is doing grave injustice to both Vidya and Priya but lying to them about the state of family affairs? Priya I can understand, coz even Aditya idolizes his dad. So telling Priya entails letting Aditya know the truth, which means breaking up the family. But Vidya?? She is already under some mistaken impression about her husband and some friendship equation. Anyway like
Vasu said, I think its more of an attempt to resort to any means possible to keep family intact. As far as I see she is only one who holds the bunch intact and we need the last straw to break the camels back!!
