Lovely posts for a not so lovely show. To say that I'll miss all of you is a gross understatement. I'm relatively new to this forum and watch very few Marathi serials or serials in general. TPR has left a bitter taste and it'll be difficult for me to watch another Marathi show soon. I exercised restraint in posting yesterday since I was utterly disgusted by the end. Blatant disregard of audience and their intelligence was on full display.

So many unanswered questions which could have easily been avoided by a simple explanation. Lack of continuity was another issue that they were never bothered about. Ghataket prem aani ghataket dvesh... Twists just for the heck of it; no rhyme or reason. Taking the viewers for a ride and purposely misleading them by giving interviews. Daily soaps are very strenuous on all those who work in them. We get it. But what was written was very amateurish. I wish the best for GD, Rupali, Bipin and hope they soar in their careers. SB I doubt will come back to TV in the near future.

I don't know what should I write and what not!!! A character which left it's impact on one and all of us, a person who became the very reason for us to switch on our TV sets sharp at 8.30pm was finished off in a matter of second!!!! How cruel could one be💔💔

I still remember the day when I had first seen him on my television set, his dashing entry on a chopper, he lowered his glasses and cast a look towards the camera and something similar to a spell was casted on all of us watching him at that time as well!!!!!

He collided with Isha, he felt a connect with her and so did we feel a connect with the two of them, an age Gap love story which was never meant to be became an instant hit amidst the audience and people started watching this show with a craze that was never felt before....... I still recollect how I stopped watching all my earlier shows to watch this one, not without being scolded by the family members for being crazy after a man in his early 40s.😀 40s was the new 20s and memes started coming up simultaneously stating how men who are single and are in their 40s have started gaining their lost confidence yet again.....with so many people protesting against the show it still managed to gain and retain the top spot in the trp charts, bagging 9 awards at the ZMA within just two months of airing wasn't a lesser feat to achieve👏👏👏👏

VikIsha grew closer, fell in love, accepted each other and fought against the society when no one was ready to accept their love, I remember all of us on the forum were equally disturbed when Vikrant was forced to stand outside Isha's place whole night as her father wasn't ready to accept their relationship......how lovely were those days, what beautiful moments were those!!!!!

They got married and we all were a part of their celebration, we all felt they both should have a happily ever after scenario, but alas💔 something definitely went wrong there, someone wasn't happy that two souls in love got married finally.

All hell broke loose on the very wedding night, with Vikrant behaving weird with Isha to everyone around acting suspicious, wonder what the creatives had in their mind???? From an mature love story to a kiddish revenge story, this turned out to be nothing but a bad joke, a nightmare would be much better than this.

One had expected Vikrant to turn grey, but they turned him charcoal black, from mocking and mimicking Isha to planning and plotting against the housemates, he did all what we had never expected. Killing people around seemed to be his favorite pastime and at one point it felt like it would be him alone on this Earth if the gun hadn't been pulled out of his hands. From killing an innocent child to shooting jalindar, he did all what he could to show us how cruel and heartless he could be and how we were supposed to be hating this man.

His plans of proving Isha to be a reincarnated of RN was a complete disaster, who does believe in such stuff in today's world??? But still his attempts to win were so desperate and cringeworthy that after a point I gave up all the hopes that this man could ever turn positive again. All his earlier scenes seemed to be a farce and all his behavior looked fake, I wasn't even able to differentiate when he would be lying and when he would be speaking the truth!!!

And then looked as if RNs character was the main character of the show, the dumbest characters ever written and acted out in the history of Indian dramas!!!! It felt as if her life and her love were the two supreme things in the world and in order to glorify her foolishness they made a fool out of everyone out there.

Now my question is, if RN wished for justice, then why did she even wait for 20 long years??? If she had powers to be reborn as Isha, then she should have the powers to push Vikrant down terrace as well!!! If she had powers to show up her self to a guilt strikken Vikrant then why didn't she show up in ASs or JDs dreams and narrate to them all what she had gone through???

Why did paranjape, Sarjerao and the rest who knew the truth keep quiet for so many years?? Why did they let Isha marry Vikrant knowing how nasty he could be??? Why all seemed to be enjoying at the wedding of a person who had scared the hell out of them in the past?? What Happened to the beggar who would tell Vikrant that he's the only one left and all the rest have died?? What happened to that place in Pune which Vikrant had once visited and zhende spotted a pale face all day after knowing about it??? Why AS or anyone else never go through DSs postmortem reports anytime?? What happened to all the wealth Vikrant had earned on his own after taking over SGI??? When he could have bought more properties and made more money than saranjaame's ever had, why did he even keep on hatching plans to get the saranjaame's property on his name, a name which wasn't his own even!!!

Why were there no reactions shown of his employees or Isha for that matter after his sudden suicide??? Was this character so downcast that it had to die such a cowardly death??? Is putting up a disclaimer about a scene being the need of the story enough to justify the end of a larger than life character 'vikrant'?????

The show's over, some new show will take it's place from tomorrow as well!! But as a viewer do I feel justified??? Then my answer is NO

Coz if I have wasted so much of my precious time on watching each and every episode and analyzing each situation and the character involved, I do have the right to ask answers to all my above stated questions, but do the creatives have guts to answer even one of the question??? Lord alone knows 🙄🙄🙄🙄

Having said that, will dearly miss all of you , will miss our fun discussion serious analysis and random chitchats

What I hate the most that I never understood Viku and Isha and their motives. They kept changing everyday. I mean even in some horror and thriller movies, I was able to relate to those characters but here, they felt like strangers despite knowing them for all these months.

If vikrant loved isha (when did he realize that), why still behave unpredictable and aggressive? why not apologize and try to repair the damage he has caused? How is this intelligence!

His death could have been shown more dramatic, it was handled in very cheap way. An intellgint man and famous business tycoon worth Rs. 1000cr, dies just like that? and saranjames and isha don't even seem to care like viku is some minor character, and his death didn't even matter. Isha is shown all happy and doesn't even remember the man who changed her life. 😭

With all her talents and experience, Isha chose dabe service? Being a wife of billionaire counts for nothing? why not work with SGI, lead sarjamne house? like maddy fanraya said, what happened to Vikrant's wealth and his houses? I love rags to riches story, but isha still ended up in chawl and will raise baby there. I fail to understand what is so magical about 'Do rupaye bhi badi cheez hoti hai'. I never wanted to see Nimkars, and they got the last scene. 😭

I knew many questions were going to be unanswered. No explanation for Viku waiting 20 years, Isha dreams, that beggar, jalindar's reasons to die, police investigation for all the murders, Rajnandini's ghost roaming around the house, and isha being her reincarnation, future of SGI, future of that child. Nothing, Just an abrupt End. 😔

It is infuriating. How much time they wasted on repetitive Nimkars scenes, Nimkars Sonya, Aaisaheb Jaideep scenes? While they left so many questions which seemed very important from story point unanswered.

It seemed at times that Abhijeet Garu and Chandrakant Gaikwad wanted to lessen impact of Girish Mohite directed episodes. So we never got any Ganapati Temple scenes, Isha’s nightmares, Vikrant’s past in detail excluding RN and many such. We still don’t have answers to questions but these lazy writers ni patya takun gundalun takala.

It's like we are not allowed to love these characters, they are the writer's property. They can change them as they wish. and If we love them, we should be ready to get our hearts broken. 😭💔

Absolutely, the characters were their property to butcher. During first 80 odd episodes we loved Nimkars, Aaisaheb, Zende, Rupali and of course adored Vikrant and Isha. By the end they butchered each and every character and made me hate most. Vikrant was the most butchered character, no continuity in his behaviour. Love Isha one day, mock her next then love again hate again. Ultimately viewers were left wondering when Vikrant fell in love and if he really loved her why did he mock and make fun of her?

This whole script actually felt like written by some teenager. I find it hard to believe that such writing is accepted, Garu has no resepct for this profession, women and the audience, and yet he is successful. I can imagine him mocking us that we got fooled. Another example of how unfair life is. If they had read all suggestions and made changes, it would have become truly unforgettable. I kept watching the title song on repeat. I still have all the screenshots I have taken, and all good memories of reading funny posts here till marriage track.

Anyway, I don't think there is any other good serial to talk about, so will miss you guys, will always love Subodh and hope to see him in some great projects. 😊

Agree completely with your comment about Abhijeet Garu. He degrades and cheapens everything in his writing. Why must Isha be shown in that chawl and the only business he can come up with was cooking and catering? Why can’t she continue to be head of RN sarees and stay in Vikrant’s flat? He slogged 20 years to made SGI so successful. Surely his wife and child can be well provided for?

That last scene with smiling Isha, fatichar Nimkar and his 2 rupaye was infuriating.

After watching Saranjames post Vikrant's demise, I felt Vikrant was so right! तुम्ही सगळे भेकड आहात... Truly , they are spineless cowards and always lived with someone's support. What's more shocking is, they let Isha leave the house and struggle to run the house. Why can't she be offered a job in SGI as before? She has proved herself and helped SGI earn profits before. Even if Vikrant had taken over the business wrongly, they can't deny the fact that the present worth of SGI is 3500Cr. That's only because of VS and not DS or RN.

Vikrant was also right about Baba Nimkar- a low aimed person.. With the last scene they proved him right. The another spineless person is living so happily making his pregnant daughter who is also a single mother, work hard, run company to company, give a presentation to run the household.

Vikrant's confession about his true feelings for Isha could have been more believable and effective if they could have avoided the scenes showing Vikrant mocking & humiliating Isha in front of others, Vikrant flirting Myra and Vikrant's to love or not to love Isha mode.

What to say about Isha! Did she really mean माझ्यासाठी प्रेम म्हणजे विक्रांत सर? How can she be so normal after Vikrant's death? How there is not a single photo of Vikrant in her house?

दो रुपये भी बडी चीज होती है बाबू। This is a new slogan by the great writer (?) . They emphasized that so much that I felt the name should have been दोन रुपयांची किमया than तुला पाहते रे .

Ana, I agree with each and every word. I was so upset at happy Isha, how can she behave as if Vikrant Saranjame didn’t matter? It seems as if we viewers are more affected by Vikrant then his in love with him wife? Absolutely pathetic written disgusting last scene to end TPR.

I have come to detest Nimkar, fatichar, absolutely big failure and joke as a person. Coward and spineless who is only capable of throwing drunk tantrums.

The pathetic screen play, cheap dialogues and poor directorial and editing skills systematically destroyed the serial. Unfortunately, they couldn't handle a single track properly. So many questions are left unanswered. Introduction if so many characters and referances were absolutely unnecessary. I don't want to write about the third class cheap person and give him importance, but Ketkars please don't be in the wrong impression that you invested money in the right project. The project could have been spectacular and could have created history had the writer - director been chosen carefully. Whatever success TPR achieved is purely due to the amazing chemistry between the leads and the brand name Subodh Bhave!

Agree completely. The stark difference in class of TPR during Girish Mohite directed episodes and later part which Abhijeet Garu and Chandrakant Gaikwad created is like they are 2 different serials. AG and SG just butchered all characters in their creativity. Vikrant was the most butchered character. Some viewers were unable to watch it became so painful to see the crass-ification of Vikrant.

TPR of Girish Mohite Sumit was responsible for viewers falling in love with Vikrant Isha. SB GD created magic that somehow carried the serial in it’s pathetic 2nd half.

Subodh, please choose the team carefully. You have certain value and image in the market. Don't take your fans for granted and don't allow anybody take you for granted. I honestly feel, all except SB are benefited from TPR. Subodh definitely deserves better...

Subodh Bhave is the reason we all fell in love with Vikrant, and unlike Isha we are heartbroken after seeing the ending. I could never hate Vikrant, so in all foolishness I kept hoping for the twists they kept promising us.

Btw when they say twists in story, shouldn’t it mean that if they are showing A is the culprit it should be B who we didn’t suspect?! So we never got any twists in story in this pathetic writing.

Subodh Bhave certainly deserves better than this pathetic written Gaja Patil, who managed to almost destroy Vikrant.

Yes he got massive popularity and craze of viewers but only for Vikrant.

After the last episode, left with the regret of IF ONLY Girish Mohite and Sumit had continued with TPR, IF ONLY they had remained true to their tagline, IF ONLY they had shown Vikrant with dark past but in love with Isha not mock her, IF ONLY they had taken some ideas from wonderful forum writers...

You joined forum quite late Ana, I don’t think you were part of forum during magical heady first part of TPR. So missed reading your posts about best of TPR. Really always enjoyed your, Dipali, Gauri, Mukta posts.

I have decided to remember all the happy ViSha moments hereafter. Will surely miss all of you.. Hetal's creativity, Gauri's detailed WU, Dipali's analysis, Maddy's straight from the heart posts, Gayu's colourful posts, fanraya, goofy cat, mukta..❤️ Hope to see you to discuss some other serial.

Gayu, we were together enjoying the heady best days of TPR and how much I enjoyed sharing the going crazy over Subodh Bhave with you and your Viku’s gore gore hath (I can never look at SB’s hands and NOT think of you ever 😀), Vikuvati and your pink and red posts 😆

TPR is going to be always special, Vikrant always in our hearts, our Visha always special but we are always going to wonder what it might have been if only Girish Mohite and Sumit had not left.

Missed opportunity to create all time classic wasted at hands of Abhijeet Garu.

It is just 1 day since TPR ended but I really wonder how many of us who never missed a single episode, felt satisfied at the ending?

Is this how we wanted to see Vikrant end? How Isha live her life? Didn’t we all want to see Visha together?

SB promised us “god shevat “and in my mind, for most us actually that meant happy ending for our Visha!

Vikrant Saranjame got crazy popularity for Subodh Bhave, but we are left feeling dejected. At what might have been if only we had got our story, true to tagline.

Yes I am being crazy but I want to see TPR 2. Maybe after 6-7 months, when they have got a great script, when Girish Mohite and Sumit are back in TPR and they find great screen play writer and after SB has done his AZF 50+ performances and his web series and maybe 3-4 movies!

I want to see Vikrant is not dead, he survived the fall and Isha hid this fact from everyone...

I am already imagining dozen scenes how Vikrant can be shown not to have killed RN, how the suspense and thriller can go on.

Subodh Bhave did TPR for Manjiri Bhave, well he got us all in the bargain! Now please bring TPR 2 with the best team for us crazy fans.

We are still not done with Vikrant and Isha.

Reading everyone's posts is making me very very emotional. Agree with you all.

For me rather than Vikrant, I fell for Visha. I saw karjat temple episode and fell in love with Visha. After that I couldn't stop watching it. So finished watching all earlier episodes in just few days time. I have never missed watching a single episode how much ever pathetic it might have been.

Initially it looked crazy, how can a lead pair like 40+ yrs hero and 20+ yrs heroine make you fall for them. But SB and GD created that magic for us. This must be the first serial in which they showed almost none or very little physical contact between the leads. But Visha created this magic by just being in the same frame. I am die hard romantic and always believe in they lived happily ever after. But now I feel cheated by not just end but what they showed post marriage.

CVs completely destroyed all characters in this serial including the leads. There are so many unanswered questions that we all have.

It was always assumed that Vikrant has some kind of grey past. It was accepted also. I remember reading Maddy, Gayu, fanraya, Hetal and Gauri's posts discussing that. But what was not accepted was Vikrant's ever changing behavior towards Isha. In the end Vikrant said that he fell for Isha during their first meeting in rickshaw and couldn't just stop thinking about her. If that was the case why that gun pointing and mocking n mimicking Isha. Vikrant using Isha for his plan was ok if they would have shown that he loves Isha like crazy but can't drop his plan also. It was shown that Gaja never loved RN and married her only for money n power but he was not shown mocking n mimicking her anytime. Then why show Vikrant doing that to Isha whom he loved since first meeting ? Can the great writers answer these questions.

For Isha, prem mhanaje Vikrant Sir. She herself said that she got her confidence, self respect, personality, everything that she has become now because of Vikrant. She got her love in him. Then why show Isha all normal the next day of Vikrant's suicide (we have to assume next day because they didn't show anything like few days later as caption). How can they show her all normal when the person she loves most has done suicide last night. Post few months also, she was shown all normal and happy even if she is carrying the baby of person she loves most. Forget photo, but not even remembering that person. Why butcher Isha like that. Can they answer this question.

I was wondering what kind of love is this when I realized I was being a fool. This story was not about Visha anytime. This was all about RN and her revenge. They completely fooled us by showing Visha and their magic. Made us believe this is Visha's LoveBeyondAge story. But it was all about RN since beginning. Purpose of Isha's rebirth was just to take revenge against her love and not have any happiness for herself and her love. Vikrant was supposed to have lived for 20 years after RN's death, just to find true love in her reincarnation, turn nasty against his own love, use her and then die for her. This was never about Visha and their love.

In a way ST was right. She was the most important character of this show. She got glory for all the hard work done by others. In spite of pathetic, unbelievable and unbearable track of RN plus lousy acting by the actress, ultimately it was RN who was happy in the end and not Visha.

I am now really happy that Isha didn't stay with saranjames. Because entire Saranjame family turned out to be extremely selfish and self centered. At least Isha and baby will be loved unconditionally and well cared by nimkars.
