I have happily watched through some of the worst episodes of JYRG(Chitra puraan for almost 6 months) and this is nothing as bad in comparison. KDP is still focused on the lead pair.

I am not fan of either but JYRG was all goody goody serial - it never had wicked smiles and kat-karasthan. One of the -ve highlight of JYRG was the other girl (i forgot her character's name) which was there for few months. Secondly it was stretched in the end for few months. 1 year is ideal time for any serial to end - max to max. In many episodes of KDP amma-nisha were in front and we mentioned here so many times including yourself kamal that where was romance. Except that VW sponsered HM which came after 8-9 months. Comparatively lots of episodes of JYRG had romance between lead pair.

No doubt the lead pair of KDP is superb!!! and yes, the show has achieved success mainly because of them though there are less romantic scenes !!! I truly appreciate them...

Now also, yes the focus is lead pair only... My only doubt it, how long it can go without strong and logical story. KDP will loose its charm by such repetitive scenes.

Mishkil, the romance in each serial has been presented differently and both were enjoyable. What I was saying was we had 6 months of focus on villain Chitra (with her kat karastan in later phase along with Babaji kat karastan in the initial phase) in JYRG where the lead pair was sidelined. In KDP we have Nisha and Amma as villains but the focus has not shifted from the lead pair. That is the difference.
As for me I enjoyed JYRG inspite of Chitra and am certainly enjoying KDP.

I never watched JYRG apart from first few episodes and then on and off. The first episodes has faltugiri of Babaji and then once when I saw this Chitra fawning over Aditya, I knew where it was headed so stopped completely.

If KDP has shown Amma for few more episodes, I would have stopped. I watch just for Shiv and Gauri, so me Baba ani Nisha la sahan kartey but I hope AM understands that we all want Shauri and shows more scenes of them then all these other characters.

Yesterday's episode I also felt cheated as there was no Shauri scene. Having one small Shauri scene daily will not hurt viewership.

I have decided to skip a few episodes

But it does not mean I hate KDP

Not at all , but a request he mi adhi pasun kartey

Stop comparison with so called JYRG

Becoz that show did not have original story

It was a copy of Him DIl De Chuke Sanam

And Won 7 Din

In fact there was an article related to it in Maharashtra times long back

So no comparison , becoz WO khud original nahi tha

Second KDP is not only a love story , They never promoted it as a love story , so don't expect 24hrs romance

In fact I would say they have shown more than enough that also i n a show which is based on cultural amalgamation

Their interactions are so romantic that they don't need physical romance

I rest my case

Yes, to each his own!! I'm a die-hard fan of KDP!! The world of Shiv-Gauri is very different n interesting!! Dono ko apne se jyada apne gharwalo ki padi rehti hai!! Unki khushi sab ke saath hai!! Very self-assured n loving couple!! But I am sure soon... the show will come to an end!! The end should be classic...as it has been overall!! Baat to wohi rahegi...ke dil abhi bharaa nahi...!! Get ready to revisit the old days...but now with jamleli Jodi!! It's different, as in HSNYG jhanvi had lost her memory... Yaha par both will relive the older days...navyane!! AM is a magician... No news/photos of his B'day??

Pls count me in the positive thinkers ...I too love KDP n that too unconditionally! N now that it may end anytime I want to enjoy whatever they are showing! I love SHAURI and I am in love with the entire team !
