I know the tension was building up and we directly wanted to see the last scene. But I think it was absolutely necessary to know the full thought process of Baba why he took that decision. And as pointed out, that blurt by Nisha that she had asked them to run away but they had refused to marry without parents consent was the turning point for Baba. Aajee, Gauri, Baba and Shiv just excelled. And Nisha too excelled in her own way with her vampishness!

As per Kamal Kaka's update: Did Nisha actually blurt out that she had suggested Gauri to elope?

Sagi, as Nisha said " I was telling you to elope, I was ready to help you, I would have got you married.." aai and baba were stunned. Nachi looked taken aback, surprised. But then that was not moment to confront Nisha, the point was different for him.

Words short of expressing the acting prowess of all in today's episode. Veterans rocked today's episode !👏 And the younger generation supported them in equal amount.

Nilamis a very good actress, strong dialogue delivery.. God how much I hate that Nisha. Nachi jara overacting vatala. Sayali in her stern tone was awesome 👏

Another episode that was fantastic due to Aaji. As Kamalji said, she literally forced Baba to go downstairs to stop Shiv. Also stopped Aai from going down with Baba at the end 😃

Like Mangyachi Aai yesterday, Nisha did her bit for Shauri- she mentioned it twice that she told them to run away 😆 and effectively praised Shiv in Baba's eyes when she said he refused to elope.

Nachi and Nisha went over the board today, and I think that rift between Nachi and Baba (helped by vampish Nisha) will widen- will they attend Shauri's marriage when Nachi is so anti-Shiv? Some hope though from Nachi's shocked expressions when Nisha mentioned Shauri not choosing to run away.

Part I didn't like much in today's episode- Aai mentioning that two rishtas had gone for Gauri and log kya kahenge bit . Neither of them were Gauri's fault, and I hope this is not used by the CV's as a similar point for Amma or Dadi later in the show.

Nachiket is spineless.. Oh god.. Bayko chya maheri Jaun itka vishari zala? Ke tyala lakshat yeu naye ki tyachi bayko Kay boltey.. Nisha clearly said that she was ready to help Gauri and shiv to elop.. Nachi shi me bolle aste.. He doesn't realise that Nisha is double dholki.. Ekda Ti Gauri la palun jayla instigate karte ani dusryanda nachi chya Mage lagun Gauri cha Akshat shi lagna lavaycha baghte.. Nisha somehow wants Gauri out of the house.. Anyhow! Ya baylala kahich kalat nahi.. Bayko samor nusta bugu bugu karto..

"Tu aamhala sodun challas" ha dialogue khul filmy vatla. 3-4 divas ji sundar natural dialogues yet hote te mind blowing hote.. PAN ha khupach artificial.

I think she was speaking like a typical mother. She did not know that Baba has already decided that Shiv is the right man for Gauri. If Aaiee had known that Baba would propose a Shauri marriage, she would never have been upset at Akshat's departure. She was worried about "what now after Vicky and Akshat"??? Her reaction looked very reasonable to me.

Kamalji, what you're saying makes absolute sense. I concur 😊, but still disappointing because it's not really Gauri's fault. As a society, we should be progressive, and it should never be the girl's fault if the boys were unsuitable.

Is it better to marry your daughter off to the first or second rishta that comes, however poor choices they look ? ( of course in real life, a family will do more background checks than the rudimentary ones that were done on Vicky and Akshat, but we'll set that aside 😆)

A couple of other points I missed out in my original post.

Gauri remaining silent to Baba's question about whether rejecting Shiv was the right decision after vehemently agreeing that rejecting Akshat was right. Although Aaji answered that q, that was one more thing that made Baba agreeable.

Somebody should've told Nachi the exact words that Akshat uttered while leaving (essentially classifying Gauri as a middle class behenji of sorts!). Instead everybody goes to a war of words, and it turns into an ego clash. People need to try and make relationships work, and in a relationship like Baba's and Nachi's which looks fragile, shouting only deepens the wounds on both sides.

MJ was again glorious today- fantastic performer- the hurt look he gave when Nachi was pointing fingers at him had me readily empathising with him. Baba as a character has his flaws, but it's a character that resembles a great many fathers I've met, and MJ really gets into the skin of it.
