Episode 52 seems to be the standard 20 minute one on Ozee though- shouldn't it have been a 43-44 minute one if it was a Mahaepi?

I believe 101 (outing of Shauri) was the only mahaepi so far.

@bold, the CVs have been surprising us so often in this serial. Who would have thought that Baba would get converted in just two episodes? Same way, won't be surprised if Amma too changes. If Amma sees Shiv in a totally depressed dark mood before leaving the flat and maybe overhears him promising Bauji that he will never ever marry, Amma may start worrying about his health. Then when Baba's proposal comes in the compound, she may talk diplomatically and say that it is OK with her if Dadi says OK. I really doubt there will be a tamasha by Amma this time. Keeping my fingers crossed that there will be positivity even if Shiv does leave for Benaras.

I wonder what his boss may be thinking. First he was coerced by Bauji to get Shiv transferred. Then when the transfer comes through he is requested by Shiv to cancel it and now he again asks for transfer to Benaras? I wonder which boss will agree to support such whimsical employees. 😕

Also baba so humbly asking the shuklas ,,if they will accept Gauri as their DIL,,was soul stirring,,

Wonder wot amma's reaction will be,,also Nisha and Nachi's,,,

BTW..is venu too shifting his base to Benaras,,,,

@bold, Nisha will get an opportunity to once again bark at Baba that Gauri is his favorite so she is given all concessions.

It was really nice to see sayali excelling in the emotionally charged scenes ,,she surprised me 👏,,

@ Bold: True, There is definitely a transition in acting of Sayali. Surprised me too !

Hope to see happy Gauri now , and some romance as well. Sayali really does the romantic and chulbuli type scenes well. I really wish for a mahaepisode with some light hearted moments and Shauri romance now

@bold, I never had any doubts about Sayali's capabilities. Someone who could do that mirchi scene and that kitchen scene with Aaiee with such emotions can never be called a poor actress. It was the CVs who had probably asked her to act emotionless so that it would heighten the tensions among viewers and create doubts if she had abandoned Shiv. But that recent Temple scene with Aajee and then that society compound scene with Shiv emphasized her commitment to Shiv with such force that we were bowled over. And we know she is damn good at those chulbuli scenes as you said (remember her pulling Shiv's legs about aag ka dariya when Shiv tries to meet Baba during his walk?) so after making us exercise our tear ducts, she certainly will rock with her romantic scenes.
In this I always give full credit to CVs for planning it well and extracting the required performances from the actors.
Hope everyone remembers how Shiv had promised that Baba would himself offer Gauri's hand in marriage. And now that is exactly how it is happening. Which means they had planned this Baba - Shuklas proposal scene ages back!
