waman is on the phone and he is asking who is the insp at panvel police station. he comes to know it is lotankar and calls him. he tells the insp ki rajan is innocent and that he knows him personally and when the court hearing comes to inform him. hey what nonsense is this? couldn't waman go to the police station and meet up with rajan? 😕

janki is waiting for narshu to do the aarti. just then ganya comes there and tells her ki he is going to the chowpatty beach with amrutha to burst crackers. janki says, "ka itka motha ghar kami padlay tula phatake sodayla? ganu says aatyabai has said not to leave crackers near the house as narsimha bhauji will get angry as he is in a meeting. janki is surprised that he has already come. then she runs near the mirror and looks at herself and straightens her sari, etc. she then asks ganu, mi kashi diste? he says lai bhaari, narsimha bhauji tar udel tula baghun. she laughs and runs from there. ganu is wondering what's wrong with janki and says tai tar geli kamahun.

narshu is in a press meet. waakhnis is also there. the journos are asking some questions. just then janki comes there with the aarti ka thali. tila baghun he gets angry, but he cannot show it in front of them. she comes and tells him i have to do ur aarti as today is paadva. he reluctantly agrees. when she is doing, the journos click photos. waakhnis shouts at them, but they keep clicking. when janki finishes with her aarti, they ask narshu will he not give any gift for her? he then removes some cash from his pocket and gives to her. she literally runs from there.

she goes happily to aatya's room and she counts the money and is murmuring something to herself and turns around to see aatya standing there. she tells aatya ki narshu gave her money after she did the aarti. she then tells she will keep thhe money near panduranga's feet. aatya says u do that but first tell me in detail all that happened. janki tells her and then she says, how i wish it was diwali daily. aatya tells u can make it happen, if u know how to keep ur husband happy. janki says what should i do. should i press his legs today also? aatya is exasperated and says, 'karma maajhi, aata he pan meech sangaycha ka tulaaaa? majhya mhatarpan asach zaail tula samjhavun samjhavun." janki laughs and is about to say something, when that narshu storms into aatya's room. aatya tells janki to do some work and janki goes from there. she closes the door and stands outside and she can hear all that is being said. narshu shouts, are u happy now that u have tied that girl to my neck. aatya says what did she do? narshu says she came to do the arti when i was in a press meet, can't u at least tell her what to do and what not to do? she tells why should i, u can only tell her, after all she is ur wife. u have married her according to all customs and rituals. he says she is not my wife. narmada is still in my heart and life. aatya gets angry and says enough is enough. narmada was your past and janki is ur present. for her also it was difficult, but she has forgotten rajan and from the day u married her, she is putting ur name ka kunku. so it is up to u now to keep the maan of that kunku and not to insult her anymore. narshu zara disturbed hoto.

janki is crying and goes to sleep crying. narshu comes there changes and goes to sleep. he cannot sleep and neither is janki. she is crying and he can hear that. he halfway gets up, then angrily turns off the light and goes to sleep.

next day morning, amrutha is sitting sadly when ganu comes there. he asks her what happened why are u sad. she says aaj bhaubheej aahe na and i don't have any brother. he says mi aahe na, i will be ur bro. amrutha also likes it and agrees. janki also comes there and they all have fun discussing about the ritual of bhaubheej.

narhsu has a wad of newspapers and is showing it angrily to waakhnis. all the papers are having his and janki's photos on them. waakhnis argues it will help further his political career. narshu says my personal life is in shambles because of that girl. my own daughter is not on talking terms with me. just then amrutha comes running there and turns her father round and round. he says control, what happened. amrutha says i have got a brother. ganya has agreed to be my brother. waakhnis is smiling and narshu is uncomfortable. she says come soon, i have got to do arti to ganu and i want u also to be with me. narshu says no i can't, amrutha says, dad, please come. u have to move on in life and not hang on to the past. narshu is like 😲 he then tells her u go, i will come just now. he then looks at waakhnis who is looking at him with a straight face.
