I am so happy that they finally have made a serial about this subject.

Being indian female and chubby myself, there are SOOOO many extra hurdles a girl has to cross being 'healthy'...
Indian stereotypical attitudes: no decent indian guy will marry you at that weight/let alone look at you regardless of education/personality or how cute you are......
Lets hope attitudes change, sure being fit and healthy is important, but you can still be chubby and be in perfectly good health...
I can already relate to this serial and I thank the powers that be for this AWESOME subject, I hope the audience accept this herione with open arms (that may or may not reach all the way around her)!!!!!!!!!
Thoughts guys????

Yup I completely agree with you...this is the ugly reality of the world...
Yash Raj have opened an awesome topic and I can't wait to watch this show...
Btw do you guys remember Dekho magar pyaar se which aired on Star plus? It was also about a healthy girl falling in love with a handsome guy...I think Mahi Way resembles that show...its just a guess...I'll have to wait and watch...😊

I'm glad also! Its great to see such a topic made into a show now. And I swear, like you mentioned, its so typical for people to see chubby girls as nobody wheter they are educated really well or not, have a nice personality and all. They just see the chubbiness and ignore the person..I'm glad for this show and I can't wait till tomorrow now! =D

Agreeeeeeeee!

It's such a stereotype and I love that they've shown both the serious side (Mahi feeling like a misfit) and the upbeat side with a character like Mahi. Definitely a positive role model!
