I too am liking this track after mayas poisoning,

And so true, the realisation of Rudras destiny has to be a journey. Only after he has experienced his share of pain, will he be able to rise above the small and focus on the big!

@Bold well Rudr has pretty much been tested in that crucible most of his life...by losing, gaining, losing and gaining loved ones... So should be well-tempered by now...

This particular Maya track has to be not just pain/loss but also a superman/saviour experience if it is to galvanise him in a positive way towards being the sarvasresth Garud!

Well ravana wanted to avenge her sister who herself was wrong. She is politely told by Rama that in this birth he can't have more than one wife. And asks her to try Lakshmana who says he is now not in a position to marry because of his dutyy.then she tries to kill sita.

And cries foul to Ravana. And he does worse. And he is no doubt a learned man. But his character is flawed in more than one way. He had scores of women as wives in captivity.

Ravana - be that it may, that soorpnakha "asked for it"( how horrible it sounds today- when we are realizing the horrible way in which this mindset has permeated our psyche- that women ask for it ) - lakshman's act was horribly incorrect - and Ravana being the king and the brother had to avenge it.
Wars are fought for far less, and this was a grave humiliation of his sister. To not take action against it would've made him a coward king, I guess - for him this was the tipping point we have been discussing,

Thanks for the translation. Ramayana in 3 words - wow, brilliant! In a nutshell that indeed is the gist.

Having forgotten what little Telugu I knew, I couldn't get the meaning, but I forgot it's so similar to Kannada - katte, kotte - mean the same in Kannada, techche - i think is a different word in Kannada

Arshi, kotte in Kannada is give our 'diya', but in Telugu it is to hit or to kill (in the Ramayana phrase). Teche in Kannada would be Tande.
How do you know Kannada?

She didn't ask for it. It was the role reversal. She was the aggressor. And Lakshmana hurt her on Rama's advice. And she went to Ravana who was not too convinced and told that he deserves Sita and she is the most beautiful. That's Valmiki.

But I would also like to give it to you Santhi. You are quite a multi linguist and that too with in depth knowledge of the language.
