Tell us something about the show.

This show is about Rudra's journey. That how he is the chosen one. He is the protector and the only one to know about the mystery of Mahakumbh. And Rudra has an animal instinct inside him. He is very raw. He was born and brought up in samshan ghat. And at the same time he loves to help people but he doesn't want them to know who he is. He is not a superhero. He is a man withimmense power, It not that he will start flying or anything.

Did you take any special training for your physique is Mahakumbh?

I have always been fit. It is not that I am doing such a thing for the first time, I have already done that. Definitely this one is more physical than other shows. I have always been into fitness frommy school days so it is not new to me. It is just that you have to keep altering your physique to a certain concept of a certain show. I have changed my diet a little bit.

In which genre you will categorise the show?

It is an Indian thriller show with lot of emotions with international conspiracy.

What is the secret of the tattoo?

Rudra was born with that Tattoo.

Did you inked it?

No, it is temporary one. It just stays for few days and whenever it is needed to show we do it again.

You posed with Naga Sadhus. So how was the experience?

Unka Moh maya ki zindagi se koi lena dena nehi. They are living their life in their own terms.

Two veteran actors Seema Biswas and Ketaki Dave are working in Mahakumbh. How was the experience working with them?

I have worked with Ketaki Ji long back. I am working for the first time with Seema ji. She is an excellent actor and an excellent Human being. Very simple and down to Earth and the best thing about her is she love the craft. She is very serious about it.

Ketaki ji is a very good friend and also like my elder sister. We know each other and we have worked together before in a project. I have worked with her mom in Baa Bahoo aur Baby and Purvi is a close friend. So it is family.

Payal is a newbie. So how is the experience working with her?

Payal is a sweet girl. She is very serious about her work and the good thing is that she wants to learn.

How is the experience working with the director?

Arvind ji is like an elder brother and we have worked before in SaraswatiChandra and it is always wonderful to work with him. The good thing is that we know each other strengths and weaknesses. And so we both know what we are expecting out of each other.

How is Gautam Rode in real life?

I am a normal and a fun loving person. Who does a lot of masti! I don't take life so seriously. I live in the moment.

What you do in tour free time?

I hardly get time for myself. And when I manage to squeeze out some time I meet my close friends or I sit and watch films. We Television actors don't have weekends.

Message for fans

You all have loved me so much in Saraswatichandra as Saras and please love me as Rudra too. This show is completely different from Saraswatichandra and I have put a lot of hard work in it.
