Vishnu is just a form of her that someone likes just like me and I respect that. As do for anyother form that any person may have chosen. To each their own.

However my favourite Avatar is Hanuman......

I love what he represents. Wise, Fun, cool, strong, brave, loyal, respectful to women and badass and totally awesome in every way

Well then you might like the concept of goddess adi parashakti, she is mentioned in the Devi bhagavata purana. Her concept is very similar to the Vishwaroop of krishna, in the shaktisim sect of Hinduism, she is believed to be the supreme being and all the gods are believed to be originated from her and she is also believed to be the one who assigned duties to lord Shiva, Vishnu and Bramha and other gods. Her direct and most popular form is of Devi Parvati. And the Idea of her creating this entire world is mentioned in the Devi bhagavata purana.

I am really confused right now -

1 Krishna was exchanged with Draupadi

2 Draupadi was raised as a boy

3 Draupadi completed Krishna’s missions

4 Draupadi having a slender form appeared 16

5 Dristadumya and Draupadi weren’t twins

6 Vyasa and Krishna asked Drupad to adopt Draupadi and the condition was her marriage to Yudhishtir

None of the above is in Mahabharata, is it?

I remember @HearMeRoar had said that Draupadi was called “Kumari Chaapi” which means she was 13 When she was adopted, Yes? We had this discussion yesterday only

What missions of Krishna did she complete?

Did she complete those missions as a “boy” then she had to look like one, She couldn’t look like 16 years old girl and a boy at the same time, right?

Dristadumya and Draupadi are called Twins -

Thus Drupada’s twin children were born from the great sacrifice. Bharadvaja’s powerful son29 took the Panchala prince Dhrishtadyumna to his own house and taught him the use of all weapons. Thus did the illustrious Drona ensure that his own deeds would become famous, because the immensely wise one knew that what was destined would come to be.’

Krishna saw Bhima and Arjuna’s prowess on the day of Swayamvara, that’s when he went behind them and sent them gifts. This is when he got to know that Bhima could help him kill Jarasandh, Did he show any kind of inclination towards Pandavas before seeing them battle in Swayamvara?

Panchal army/Draupadi did nothing about Jarasandh

There r assuming that d grl who was daughter of nand yashoda , name kahu , is d same grl who was later known as draupadi . She was exchanged with krishna during birth .

Her fire birth is fake .

Twin children like they came out of the fire at the same time.

But they weren't of equal age when they were "fire born"

Definitely those aren't mentioned in Mahabharata directly

We had been discussing the ancestory of Draupadi since days and I liked this theory put forward by HearMeRoar

Raised as boy doesn't mean being TomBoy, it means taught and groomed like only the boys were back then

Krishna was exchanged with Nand Yashoda's daughter that's known by all, Kansa didn't kill her(as per Sreemad Bhagwatam she was an incarnation of Yogmaya and just flew away) as per Harivamsapurana, Kansa didn't feel like killing her and she was spared. Raised in Mathura.

The discussion is whether or not this girl was Draupadi. What point HearMeRoar gave does indicate she could be

Kumari Chap is minimum 13, girls mature at later age too(few earlier too) that's not a fixed age

Fire birth has to be fake if it's a Mahabharata event, not possible otherwise

Not sure if this would come under blasphemy, but sometimes I think Kansa wasn't bad. He just had a propoganda against him. Vasudev was successful at it

Fire birth is obviously not correct, It’s not possible for humans to come out of fire

It’s not even mentioned that they came out of fire -

Then a young maiden arose from the centre of the altar. She was blessed with good fortune and was known as Panchali. She was beautiful and her waist was shaped like an altar. She was dark. Her eyes were like the petals of lotuses. Her hair was dark blue and curled. She was truly a goddess born in human form.

On seeing these two, Prishati wished to get them and came to Yaja and said, “Let these two know no one but me as their mother.” Desiring to please the king, Yaja agreed. The Brahmanas, whose desires were entirely satisfied, gave the two names. “Because of his great courage and because he has been born from lustre, let this son of Drupada be called

Dhrishtadyumna.28 Because she is dark in complexion, let her be called Krishna.” Thus Drupada’s twin children were born from the great

sacrifice. Bharadvaja’s powerful son29 took the Panchala prince Dhrishtadyumna to his own house and taught him the use of all weapons. Thus did the illustrious Drona ensure that his own deeds would become famous, because the immensely wise one knew that what was destined would come to be.’

But I don’t see possibility or logic behind Vyasa and Krishna fooling everyone

This was the reason I didn’t agree with Chili’s theory, there are many people, they won’t always do what you want them to

I really don’t see the possibility of Draupadi being her unless there’s a direct correlation between these two, moreover she couldn’t be daughter of Nanda and Agnirasa simultaneously

It is mentioned that they were twins, where does it say that they weren’t equal in age?

Draupadi was a Kumari Chap and Dhristhdhyum was a Navyuvak with weapons in hand (He isn't mentioned as Kishore or Kishorevyay), how do they seem of equal age to you?

HearMeRoar had given a clan detail where Nand n Yashoda could be of Agniras clan. Will search and share

Rest obviously it's an assumption we can't be sure of our

Drona trained Dristadumya, Drupad sent him to Drona means Dristadumya needed training, Why would he do that if Dristadumya was already trained and to get him Drupad was arm twisted into marrying Draupadi to Yudi?

They are mentioned as twins, Twins have same age like Nakul and Sehdev

We are assuming everything else, The text is specific About them being twins
