Krishna was working damned hard to keep his clan safe, but the Yadavas were an ungrateful lot.

Most of his decisions WERE based on that calculus, including whom he did and didn't marry.

If Ekanamsa was Panchali (as I explained elsewhere), she was part of that clan and willingly let herself be adopted and married into Kuru clan to protect the people she called her own.

While I think Krishna's friendship with Arjuna was definitely political in the beginning, it changed into a genuine affection afterward.

So yeah, Krishna was EXTREMELY political.

All that being said, i don;'t believe Krishna was a psychopath or a sociopath to arrange the slaughter of Panchalas and Upapandavas. Since Krishna clearly told Vyasa and Panadvas about it, the only 2 reasons I can think fo are 1) it was a conspiracy between ALL of them to kill off the people who died. It makes no sense because some were Pandavas' own sons. 2) Krishna's intel actually says Ashwatthama was planning to kill PANDAVAS. We assume Ashwatthama made a mistake. But in text, he actually is said to have known exactly who he was killing. So chances are that Pandavas/Krishna made a huge error in judgement on where the attack was coming.

Yes definitely Rukmini approched him , after that he proceeded with it.

Before Rukmini approach him , he asked rukmi 4 her but he insulted .

How is it possible?

Prishata was Drupada's father, not Drona's. Sort of like saying Kauravas instead of Dhartharashtras.

Yes, It was a mistake

I meant Drupad only but the point is that Draupadi was called “Sister of Prishata’s son”

But Prishata’s son is Drupad

I think it's a different spelling in Sansksrit which matches in English like Vasudev (son of Shursena) and Vasudev (Krishna) have spelling in English although the latter should be Vaasudev

Prishata's son would be called Prishaata (to be more specific) but in English they use same spelling

@ Nora, if you want to complicate matters: 😆

Harivamsa says Ekanamsa (born on same day as krishna) was brought up similar to a boy in Mathura on Vasudeva's otrders. She carried out Krishna's mission for him.

Markandeya Samasya 505 (208)

Ekanamsa is daughter of Angirasa. Angiras is called Agni. Ekanamsa's given name is Kuhu. ie, new moon, because she was dark and I suppose because she was born on new moon day.

Nanda gopa and Yashoda are supposed to be avatars of Drona Vasu and Dhara 😆

ie Ekanama/Kuhu, the daughter of Nandagopa/Angirasa/Drona (who actually was an Angirasa), named new moon/Kuhu because of her complexion, carried out Krishna's mission for him.

This is where things get interesting: 😆 Drona is supposed to have had twins - boy and girl - he abandoned to marry Kripi because she was a princess. These twins were apparently adopted by Drupada. Now, this part I have no citation for as I was told this by someone who researches Puaranas.

But the entire thing is as good as a soap opera when you consider Drona then sits on his hands while Panchali gets assaulted. Dhrishtadyumna kills Drona with the help of a lie about his other son's death. Then, Ashwatthama kills all Panchalas. Then, Panchali takes away his jewel. I couldn't make this up in one of my stories if I tried.🤣

\She hadn't met him. And no, I don't believe in never-seen love 😊. She may have had a celeb crush on Krishna. Plus, Shishupala was a known perv. 2 rapes, etc. So why not ask Krishna? He complied.

@bold she was born on the same day as Krishna, and Krishna was born on Ashtami not on a new moon day
