Sigh. Trolling aside.

Take a look at this map:

Kosal and other Mahajanapadas in the Post Vedic period.

Leave aside Jambavati and Yamuna whom Krishna married as rescues from Balram.

The rest were all from kingdoms which could ally with Dwaraka in case of an external attack or a dowry girl like Satyabhama,

Avanti/Vidarbh to the south, Kosala to the east, Madra/Gandhar/Kekaya to the north.

Krishna was an extremely political animal. Even his so-called romances were all politics. No Lakshmi avatar, no love letter, nothing of the sort. Rukmini-vivah is actually stated to be rakshasa vivah. ie, forceful marriage, not elopement. Krishna did it because politics.

And the fact that he was simply standing around at the cave entrance while Krishna was fighting with Jambavati. Also, remember Balram;'s assault on Yamuna.

Yeah, I do believe Jambavati was assualted by Balram, and Samba is the kid from that.

So Krishna basically married two women assaulted by his drunk older brother. He rescued one from his perv cousin, Shishupala. Had 2 arranged marriages. ie, a total of 5 were not love matches. Other 3 were swayamvaras.

I think at least Lakshmana was his love, he abducted her from Swayamwar afterall.

Satyabhama might be an arranged marriage but they definitely had started loving each other

Why wouldn't they? I'd like to think he was a decent husband to hiss wives no matter his reason for marrying them.

Of course. And that was the reason he DIDN'T marry Panchali. He needed the Kuru-Panchal alliance to get rid of the enemy in the middle, Jarasandha.

The reason is pretty plain in MBh for anyone who cares to read and analyze.

Having said that i would like to add that i do feel that arjuna s importance is exaggerated a bit But that i think that goes with the territory since we don't have vyasa s Mahabharata but vaishampanya s version to vyasa s Mahabharata which he narrates to janemya who was arjuna s great grandson . So arjuna s exaggerated role not necessary was probably expected.

Wasn't Rukmini the one who requested Krishna to marry him? Does any text suggest otherwise? I am not saying that Krishna loved Rukmini but at least the reverse was definitely true

I remember reading Draupadi calling herself “Sister of Prishata’s son”, I read today Prishata was Drupad’s father

I am not able to find where Draupadi said that but I do remember she said it or it was said in her context

How is it possible?

Yes I remember that. And seems Duryodhan actually loved Lakshmana so he named his daughter after her
