I am watching the Kurukshetra part now. Dude....did they shoot the whole thing on green screen? Everything is looking so weird & out of place🤔

Couldn't they find an empty field or something like that & then do set extension by CG? Itna bura nahi lagta phir 😆 Right now it's so evident that the BG & the characters are at different places 😆

And I read somewhere that it was a 100 crore budget show.

I guess they spent more on costumes and sabhas! They hardly had any outside scenes sans CGI.

Yeah...the costumes & sabhas are grand....hence was my earlier assessment of it being a visual treat 😆 But now.....it looks pretty weird 😆 I can literally see the strands of hairs they couldn't mask properly 🤓 And not to mention the mismatched lighting between BG & characters.

Actually it was supposed to end a lot earlier like at 90/100 epis, but beech mein they got an extension of 20/30 epis, and at that point they were already in the middle of the war, so they had to scramble and haphazardly assemble scenes worth of 20 extra episodes in a matter of days.

That's when kinda let go of it...

Oh....that's a bummer This is what happens when you try to make artistic master piece for business oriented clients & the clients, being pleased, asks for more without any understanding of its making.🥱 Art isn't a commodity that can be made / lengthen / shorten at ones' whim....this is what happens when it is demanded to be so. 20-30 extra episodes....I can't imagine how they managed.

I can't imagine why they didn't just turn down that offer. Story ka jo bhi hua, still that show was a super-hit!

Oh wow. Didn't know that. The war looked really badly shot. The BRChopra one had some really nice outdoor shoots.

I have been a long time viewer in the MB Quora community. I read that after the war, only Arjun brought his other two wives Chitrangada and Ulupi to live in Hastinapur. What about the other Pandavs? From what I read of the citation there, along with Panchali, Bheem had two others wives, Yudi -Nakul-Sahadev one more each. Did the other brothers not bring their wives?
