Once a Brahmin came to me from Brahmalok. He was honoured by me properly.
Then the Brahmin said." OKrishna! Once a Brahmin by. Name Kasyapa came to another Brahmin who was the master of spiritual knowledge.
Kashyapa heard about the great Brahmin and visited him.He fell at his feet and served him with devotion.One day that great Brahmin addressed Kasyapa thus" Kasyapa due to my desires and sins I had undergone birth and rebirth continuously.I endured miseries life after life.
One day I was depressed.I then relinquished worldly pleasures and concentrated on the Supreme Soul.I will go to Satyalok after my departure from this world.Then I will aim the next stage absorption into The Supreme God.
I know the purpose of your visit.Since very soon I am going to leave this world,I will answer your doubts and address you.
Krishna then said. " Parth listen to the questions and answers carefully." Arjun is listening without blinking his eyes.
Kasyapa asked thus.
How does the body dissolve away? How is another body acquired?
How does Jiva cast off the body given to him by Prakriti?
After getting separated from the body how does Jeeva attain the Supreme Soul?
How does human beings enjoy the fruits of good and bad actions?
Without body how could he act at all?
The Brahmin answered thus." When the End nears the person will take resort to practices such as eating at irregular intervals,sleeping more at daytime,indulging excessively in physical pleasures. He will then get afflicted by diseases or health disorders.Sometimes a person resorts to end his life by hanging etc. How will Jeeva leave the body in all these cases?
The heat in the body gets excited and urged by the violent wind reaches every part of the body and restrains the movements of vital breaths.
The heat becomes so strong and pierces every vital part where life resides.Jeeva feels great pain and takes leave of its mortal body.Jeeava slips away from the body overwhelmed by great pain.
O Kasyapa,the pain that happens when Jeeva gets out of the body is same like that of the pain that is felt when he enters the womb or comes out of the womb during birth.
All living creatures are effected by birth and death.
At the time of death the wind that resides in the vital breaths called Prana and Apana rushes upwards leaving the body.Because of that breathlessness happens.The man then becomes devoid of heat,breath,beauty and consciousness.Then the person will be declared dead.
The Jeeva creates life breaths through food.The elements gather together in some particular parts.Those are called the vital parts.When as said above the vital parts are pierced by the wind,jeeva rises above enters the heart and restrains the movement.Then conciousness still there the vital parts not functioning,the living creature becomes overwhelmed by darkness.Jeeva then urged by the wind goes out quickly through a deep painful breath.The motionless body trembles for the last time.
Then Jiva who is out of the body will be surrounded by his acts.The sins and merits hover round him.
Only a pious person can witness all this due to his purity.
There are three regions that can be obtained by Jeeva. The mortal world,the Hell and The heaven.
The good or bad done by the Jeeva can not be destroyed in any way.
Jeeva with his goodness and sinfulness enters the womb of females as the vital seed mixed with blood.That Jeeva enters all limbs of the foetus part by part.The manifestation of Jeeva in Foetus is like that of a lamp burning in a room.
Now mind gets activated.Whatever acts Jeeva did in his former body,are to be enjoyed or endured by him now.
After the former acts are exhausted,the present actions can get accumulated now.
Jeeva taking birth after birth can becomes happy if he practices goodness.
