Even if critics argue that she should not have done that, does that justify being called uncomplimentary names and made to strip in public?

However the authors may try to justify or whitewash his character, the above fact will always remain a black mark against him...not an ordinary black spot on his character but one that overshadows all his other qualities imho...

Karna was one of the main culprits behind Draupadi vastraharan!! I always keep him even before Dushshashan for this unforgivable crime, Dushshashan was just like some common people who are used by bigger criminals for committing any kind of disaster, but the big fishes remaining behind were obviously Duryodhan, Karna & Shakuni. But I found that Kaliyug people still love this man (they hate Yudhishthir for staking Draupadi but love Karna who insulted her 😕); they say that Draupadi was responsible for that as she insulted Karna in her swayamvar! So they are indirectly saying that, if any girl does not want to marry a boy then it will be the right of that boy to torture her later in helpless condition 😲 😭 & more dangerous thing is: they are women who love Karna most 🤢

We have had this discussion a million times before...

We will argue forever but never agree...

I do support Draupadi's polyandry...for gender equality n bcoz it was prevalent at her time...
And yes she did admire n respect all her husbands but was clearly more inclined to Arjun.
As for whether she wanted the polyandry or not...that was not my point of discussion wen I started talking about Kunti.
Some scholars argue that Kunti said those words on purpose, based on certain facts which I find quite plausible.
Whether Draupadi's heart started jumping in pleasure hearing those words n she immediately agreed or she accepted it as fate n gradually started accepted her husbands wholeheartedly is a debatable point.
I would go for the latter...

As for Karna, y he said wat he said can be seen in various ways...Either he said it bcoz he hated polyandry...but that does not explain the disrobing part.
Or he said it bcoz he was angry about the rejection.
Or if the rejection does not really exist, then he said those words simply bcoz he hated the Pandavas...either way, wat he said was wrong.

And yes KMG had allegedly mellowed down certain harsh words of Karna n unchaste is an example of that.
From wat I know bandhaki means courtesan...that's wat Varaali had said.

Anyway, this debate is neverending n we have had this debate a million times in this forum...n yet we have stuck to the same point. So its best to agree to disagree.

Yes amrita, bandhaki means courtesan but courtesan means a prostitute , especially one with wealthy or upper class clients! And that's the reason I don't comment anything on karna because I know whenever I'm going to say anything about him I'll just cross all my limits! So IMHO we all should just stop this karna topic

We were talking about Kunti's accusation to Draupadi n it led to same old Karna vs Draupadi debate.
I was talking n analyzing Kunti's character...

Speaking of Kunti, she loved Draupadi more than her sons 😊 read her dialogue to Krishna from Udyoga parva where Krishna comes HP as peace messenger.
