Speaking as a ArDi fan she ruined it for me...she might have liked her but she did use her as a bait on many occasions...

Kunti, well I don't think that she divided her because of any plan or something I think it was just a mistake! I don't dislike her but yes I don't like her either! And anyways kunti and yudhistrira are really very dharmik people to comment on.i seriously don't know what to say about her

Absolutely...what should have been a happy love story between the greatest warrior of his times and the most beautiful woman of her era turned out to be a never ending saga of sacrifice, suffering and sorrow!!

I was thinking we could discuss " Krishna - The God Who Lived As Man"...if everyone is ok with it...it has some really nice Drau scenes

But if anyone has any other suggestions, we could do that too...

Here is an excerpt from "Krishna - The God Who Lived As Man."

That day while returning to Hastinapur, Draupadi had out the blue, broached the topic.

"I can no longer this burden of awareness...I don't know where I'm headed but I know I want to be free of the baggage of your debts!"

What freedom was she referring to?

Both Krishna and Draupadi were aware of the baggage. The baggage of bonding...the longing for freedom...

They realized that their relationship was drawing to an end. Uncertain about how, where and why but both recognized that their last moments together and unwittingly, prepared one another for the final parting...

Draupadi invariably always sensed Krishna's innermost thoughts and feelings. Krishna acknowledged an indescribable feeling rising within him for her. Usually it was his privilege and expertise to read everyone's thoughts and therefore it was out of turn for Krishna to feel transparent in front of Draupadi...

"Was I so deeply connected with Draupadi for her to have gauged my darker secrets..? Krishna asked himself, "Or was it that she had determined to free me and in the process free herself..?"

These words for me show what a deep connection they had...

Good morning sakhis...
wowww. what a beautiful citation to wake up to.,
i m soo in love with those last couple of lines...

i always felt tht about GoLi... they are connected.. their souls are connecred..
i ve read tht Panchali who didnt break down during vh was shattered after abhi baby s death.. n my understanding is that she stood strong coz govind was also strong and in full force to show kauravas the strength of a woman n the paap they have committed. but he too was broken to a small extend after abhi baby s death that sakhi felt too much weak n fell unconscious...

I think that Draupadi n Lord Krishna's friendship is one of the best friendships of the epic...

They were like best friends, brother-sister, lovers...all in one...a unique blend that led to a pure platonic friendship.

Arjun-Draupadi-Krishna...the 3 Krishnas as they were called...true soul connection...

I just love the scene after the Vastraharan where Draupadi pours her heart out to her Sakha...n he promises her that her perpetrators would pay for her tears...n I so love how Arjun consoles his beloved...☺️
